That was the first time that Shin smiled at his sister (even though it was only a smirk). Without further ado, they looked ahead at the battle.

A big impact happened in mid-air before revealing that it was the two beasts slamming at each other. Even though there were injuries on their body, what was apparent was Viola panting. Viola could only grit her teeth. She did not know what to say to that. Or maybe it was really the effect of too much usage of the brain wave like he just said.

Lucius called his red magic sword up again and dashed at Viola.

She raised her sword to defend herself. Her instinct allowed her to fight Lucius equally, even though she was on the defensive side now. The speed, the defense, and the fast attacks that got her breathless were driving her mad.

It was as if her brain was tossed around. She could not breathe. Her lips were so dry, and her throat was burning.

They parted. The fast fight just now was still good. No one received any injury. However, Viola was in so much pain. She was in tears and panted very heavily as if the air was so hard to catch!

Hearing that, Lucius sighed softly. He shook his head with disappointment.

“It seems the negotiation has failed.” He murmured. “...I’ve warned you, Viola.”

Suddenly, Viola’s brain twitched. She looked behind her instinctively. A giant golem was standing there. The black golem with golden patterns on its body was about to punch her!

Viola swore loudly and dodged to the other side. Lucius whistled.

“Golem? Scarlet?!”

She shouted, while the golem was raising another fist up and was about to slam it at her. Of course, she dodged the fist very easily. She even ran along the golem’s arm up.

She tightened her grip on her sword when she reached where she aimed for. Then, Viola swung the sword and cut off the golem’s head. The giant fell to the ground!

“Ambushing me, Scarlet? Come at me if you want!”

Viola yelled, even though she was still panting.

Then, so many beasts appeared in front of her. She could only grit her teeth. They were all strong ones.

“Damn it. Can’t you leave me alone for a sec...?”

She could only complain to herself at the same time that the beasts decided to dash at her all at once. The first one was the Blaze Lion, the lion beast with a flaming mane. Viola evaded its attack and called a long spear out. She stabbed the spear at the beast when it slammed at her. It fell on the ground, dead.

The second one was Naga the Snake, the half-human-half-snake beast. The upper body was that of a human being, yet the lower part was of a purple snake. It swung its sword at Viola. Of course, she brushed it off before calling a sword up and piercing it into the snake’s tail. While the snake was letting out a loud cry, she swung the sword and cut its head off!

The third one was Medusa. It could turn anyone who looked into its eyes into stone. It tried to do that to Viola, but Viola used only two fingers to stab its eyes and turned them blind. Then, she called up a medium-sized axe and cut Medusa’s head off.

There were so many more beasts after that. Yet, they did not seem to be a problem for Viola. She killed them one by one so easily that it was so clear how much different they were.

“That’s enough. If you think this can do anything to me, you’re wrong, Scarlet! You can’t do shit!” Viola shouted after getting rid of the second golem.

“Are you sure, traitor?”
