Chapter 651: The Second Illusion Master Part I

“Our army’s reached the destination in the east and is occupied with the alliance whose people have increased almost thirty percent from before.”

Aerin reported and the acting captain smiled slightly. The eyes behind his black-framed glasses still stared at the monitor, watching the Nemesis army, led by Mr. Viper, fighting the alliance and he felt relieved.

“Then, let Mr. Viper take care of that. His goal is to lead the way to the alliance’s crystal and destroy it. As for us, we’ll continue to support them from the sky. We’ll avoid using a wide-range magic so that we don’t hit our people. We’ll also use the supporting spells and heal those who are wounded.” Manoch commanded and stroked his lips. “What about those three?”

The last question got Aerin smiling.

“They already went down with Mr. Viper.” She answered.

“Okay. We’ll let them do whatever they want since they’re the jokers in the war anyway.”

Beep Beep Beep

However, a security alarm suddenly sounded. Manoch was startled a little while Warunya looked into what was happening.

“Acting captain, the group of our enemy called the Unknown appeared on the radar. There’re over two thousand people and they scatter around to guard us and the armies of the four gods.”

Hearing that, the acting captain narrowed his eyes.

“What do you mean, the Unknown?”

“We checked and it turned out that they’re not players. They’re more like summoned beasts!”

“What? Over two thousand of them!?”

The man shouted. Did William still have more up his sleeves?

“The footage’s here, acting captain.”

Aerin immediately put the image up on the big screen for everyone to see.

At that moment, they were all in awe. The Unknown actually looked more like ‘puppets’ that resembled each other. The differences were only genders and the length of hair. Every one of them was holding a rusty giant angle head sword.

They were also wicked. They rushed at the armies of the four gods and the Nemesis from every direction as if this was the last fortress before they got to the center of the city.

“The puppets look the same. That means there’s only one manipulator.”

Warunya said, still in awe.

“Controlling more than two thousand of them at the same time, this is incredible.”

Aerin said. Manoch was the only one who took a deep breath and smiled.

“You finally show yourself, Miguel. It’s just like what Mr. Sander said.” He turned to Aerin. “Analyze and search for the connection between them. Find Miguel and inform those three immediately!”

“Yes, sir!”

In the city center, at the top of the high-rise building that oversaw every battle on the ground, the tanned girl was there. Her hoodie was blown off, revealing her face and glowing amber eyes. She frowned stressfully and beads of sweat dropped on her smooth cheeks.

“I didn’t think I’d have to use my manipulating skill to the max like this.”

She gritted her teeth. Her hands were raised up. Over a thousand invisible threads from her fingers reflected against the sunlight. She only had to use her index fingers at first, but now she needed all of them.

Miguel did not expect that the Nemesis would go so far to revive everyone in the field and let them help with getting rid of the alliance, even though there was the risk that the revived players would still go after them. What a reckless move!

“This isn’t good.” Miguel smiled awkwardly. “If I have to give this much power to control thousands of puppets, I won’t be able to stall more time with those two.”

She looked at the strings on both her index fingers. They were controlling the best puppets for the two monsters in the west.

Suddenly, the string on her left index finger was yanked and cut!

“Ouch!” Miguel screeched loudly.

BOOM!!

In the west, a big explosion occurred with thick smoke that gushed off the ground. It was obvious that the puppet had already been destroyed.

“As expected of the Bloody Iron Beast, it didn’t take much for you to break my puppet... Ouch!”

Another thread on her right finger was now cut. The connection between her and the puppet had been completely broken off!

“Even this one, too?” She pressed her lips. “Whatever! They’re not doing much right now anyway. I need to take care of the armies first!”

New threads appeared at her index fingers’ tip and five hundred more puppets were called. Immediately, the new puppets dashed into the battle!

Back to the south of the city where the heated battle of the two hot-tempered war breakers was. One was a monster skilled in using spears and another was a mad dog who was not afraid of danger or death. He only wanted to devour his enemy whole, whatever it took!

The two of them still slashed their weapons at each other. Once one gave the other a wound in the chest, another returned one to the other’s torso!

Even so, both of them still smiled. No matter how bad the fight was, it was a playground for them.

“Not bad, Aaron. When did a daddy’s little boy like you dare to fight one-on-one?!”

Sander shouted before he slashed his scythe from above in a straight line. Aaron had to guard with his spear.

“You, too, Sander. Age didn’t wither you as much as I thought, you mad dog!”

Clank!

They shook their weapons off and dashed at each other again so harshly. It was almost impossible to catch up with their speed with the naked eye. The impact when their weapons met caused so much pressure that the houses and buildings around there crumbled!

The damage numbers rushed up. It was impossible for anyone to know which one was whose.

“Is this all you’ve got, Sander?!” Aaron screeched at him. “Where’s the hell hound that I used to know?!”

“You, too, Aaron!” Sander shouted back. “You’ve already unsealed almost all of your power, haven’t you? And you’re still this bad? You can only unseal it for a limited amount of time, right, daddy’s boy?”

They bounced off of each other so forcefully since both were so powerful. Sander was thrown into a deserted building that later collapsed, while Aaron swerved on the ground. The blue-haired man quickly sprung himself up and spitted out blood.

“Yes, you’re right. But that’s more than enough to take you down, Sander!”

Ocean Fang

Aaron did not hesitate to use the skill of the ‘Poseidon’ trident for the first time. The waves that resembled tentacles jetted behind him. The trident was at the peak of the wave!

BOOM!!!

Every tentacle wave dashed at the crumbled building and stabbed it, hoping to penetrate Sander. However, Aaron could feel that no tentacle had done the deed. Suddenly, Sander leaped out of the pile of rocks with his face soaked in blood!

“Finally heated up, Aaron? This will be fun!!!”

He growled and called up so many black chains with a wedge at the end of each one behind him. They dashed at Aaron so fast!!

BOOM!!

The ground broke apart. Aaron dodged to the side just at the right time.

“You, too, freaking hell hound!” Aaron shouted.

The tentacle waves did not hesitate to dash at Sander again. Of course, the master of the Magic Warrior did not give in. He commanded his chains to counter. The powerful weapons slammed at each other in mid-air.

The muscular men sprinted at each other with the weapon!

BOOM!!!

The impact created a huge energy wave that destroyed everything in the area. Even so, they still had a smile of a monster on their face.

So fun!

How long had it been?!

Both Sander and Aaron thought the same thing while slamming their weapons at each other until their arm trembled.

“This is the first time that Hades and Poseidon fight,” Sander smirked.

“Yeah, if I knew it’d be this fun, I’d have done it a long time ago,” Aaron spoke through his teeth.

“What about your new partner? Is it alright to leave her like that?”

“Emilia?” Aaron raised his eyebrow a little.

“It seems like my kid’s got her. She could die, you know?”

Hearing that, Aaron smiled.

“I think that’s you, Sander. Are you sure you want to leave your girl there?”

“What?” Sander halted.

“Emilia hasn’t unsealed her power just yet.” He grinned. “Everything will be wiped off the face of the earth if she does.”
