“What a mouth you have!”

Allen moved first. He dashed so fast at Waree. Both of his hands raised his sword up, hoping to slash her to death in a single blow. Even if she guarded with a shield, that had to go, too!

Unexpectedly, Waree did not use the shield this time. She decided to dodge it as if she could read the boy’s mind. She stepped back and evaded with the speed that a supportive magician did not normally have. And there, Nero’s magic was waiting for her.

Her green eyes glanced at it. As soon as her feet touched the ground, the scorching flames gushed out of it. Of course, she did not fall for that so easily. She cast a spell to guard herself and evaded it.

A low voice sounded softly behind Waree. The girl did not flinch. She flipped around and guarded just in time with her magic shield. Yet, the impact was so harsh that she bounced off to the side!

“We know that you’re more skilled in guarding than fighting.”

And again, a big thunder crashed down. Waree dodged it.

She looked the other way and saw that Nero was there, waiting for the right time to cast a spell on her. Allen was also dashed towards her without waiting for her to regain her footing!

“And your only weapon is the Direction Ray, which won’t work when you’re in a defensive position!”

Allen shouted and slashed his weapon at her. Waree did not say anything; she just evaded his attacks with ease. And whenever some hits landed on her, she would use her shield to fend them off. No matter how many times Allen tried to hit her, nothing scraped her flesh.

“Mr. Allen!”

Nero warned him. At that moment, Allen stopped and dodged to the side. Without even realizing it, Waree was pushed into Nero’s attack range. Magic characters were forming at her feet!

“This magic?” Waree opened her eyes widely.

“Checkmate.” Allen and Nero harmonized.

Suddenly, the flames that flowed towards the sky exploded and a gigantic beast jumped onto the ground. He had a brown muscular body. The body looked like that of a lion. The eyes were scorching. The face was long and slender. This was the flame monster, Ifrit!

“The Solomon’s beast.” Nero swallowed his saliva when he saw what was in front of him.

Ifrit roared so loudly, staring at the enemies. The small lady was sitting on his shoulder. She did not look like she was wounded anywhere. She even smiled sweetly at them.

“Do you really think your flames can do anything to me?” Waree asked. “It’s true that I’m good at guarding on the outside and not skilled at fighting at all, but that’s just your opinion. It’s not like I can’t fight. I just like being on the defensive side.”

Then, she glanced at the boys who were still standing at the opposite of each other and did not dare to recklessly initiate anything because Waree was not alone anymore. And Ifrit was Solomon’s beast that was well-known for its massive strength!
