“You can still use that scythe so skillfully like Death, hell hound. You’ve betrayed us, but you still keep the Scythe of Hades, the weapon father gave to you. This is preposterous!”

Aaron was furious. He slowly pushed himself up with the trident. Even so, his arm was still being wrapped by Sander’s chain as if it had been melted into his flesh.

Aaron gritted his teeth so tightly. He glanced at his right arm and thought that being wrapped like this was something he should not have let happen. This chain would not let go until his or Sander’s life was taken away. Sander did not use the scythe much in a fight. Once he did and chained his opponent with it, that meant he would not stop biting until the enemy was dead.

As expected of Sander the Mad Dog!

However, while both guys were staring at each other’s face, Emilia decided to target Sander. She cast a spell and her hand glowed. Under her feet, the ground rose higher and took her above the men.

Emilia was surrounded by floating rocks. Her bright blue eyes showed anger that Sander suddenly ambushed.

“I’m sorry, Emilia. This is the boys’ problem. It’s better not to interfere.” Sander smiled. He did not even glance at her. “Don’t worry. I’ve prepared someone for you.”

Emilia frowned tightly, yet she pretended that she did not care. She raised her hand up and pointed at Sander, hoping to hit him with her magic. However...

The sound of a gunshot rang out. Her Signetic suddenly warned her of the approaching danger. Emilia stopped the casting and quickly ordered the rock to guard against the bullet for her. The rock broke to pieces!

“A long-range attack? A gunman?”

Emilia muttered and looked in the direction of the bullet.

She saw a small woman standing there. She was on the top of a building that was still intact enough not to collapse. She was targeting her with a giant rifle.

“Maysa?” Emilia murmured.

“Have fun, girls.” Sander grinned and winked at her. “Let me warn you, my dear Emy. Don’t you ever underestimate her. My little Maysa is good, you know?”

Then, Sander dashed at Aaron. They crashed into each other at an inhuman speed. Emilia could not focus on her friend anymore because the gun girl just shot another bullet at her!

The sound of the gunshot echoed throughout the area. Emilia still used the rock to guard her very easily. The next second, she frowned and pointed at Maysa!

Emilia said softly, but it was loud enough to call a sharp rock up from the ground under the building that Maysa was standing on. Maysa’s grey eyes were opened widely. She quickly jumped off the building before it finally collapsed!

“What the heck? Did she just destroy the whole thing?!”

Maysa muttered while she was still in mid-air. She looked back and saw that the building was slowly crumbling down.

At that moment, she heard a whisper behind her ear. She was startled. Before she even realized it, Emilia was behind her!

“This girl has only dangerous spells.” Maysa gritted her teeth.

Before she even realized it, a number of sharp rocks floated up and surrounded her. She knew right away what Emilia was doing!

“Are you for real?!”

Maysa shouted loudly. At the same time, the rocks rushed at her altogether. Maysa called up her two pistols and shot at the rocks before they got to her. However, no matter how quick and skilled at gun Maysa was, the number of rocks was too many. The remnants of the rocks created cuts on her!

She also had blood dripping from her eyes. She still gushed out blood from her mouth. Maysa smiled, while Emilia could not even talk!

She screeched and closed her eyes tightly.

A sound of a readied pistol was heard from the back of Emilia’s head. She could feel the cold metal against her head. Someone was panting behind her.

“Right on time.”

The sweet voice rang with a smile. Maysa was still a pretty little girl without any wounds. She sweated a lot as if she had just gotten out of the gym.

Emilia was frozen in place. Before she realized it, the scary Maysa was gone from her sight. She looked at the ground where her hammer hit and it confirmed that Maysa was not there in the first place.

Everything was an illusion. She only lost her MP to the ground. What was happening?!

“The Illusion is a success..”

Maysa murmured softly and slowly pulled the trigger.

“Do you think I’m that easy to kill, Emilia? The real fight is now.”
