Chapter 643: Toys and Weapons! Part IV

Chapter 643: Toys and Weapons! Part IV

“Heat up the MSS to the max!”

Manoch shouted at the supporting magic controller. She was a girl under Stella’s healing unit. She might look anxious, but she had already been well-trained by Manoch.

“H... Heating up the magic diffuser. The MSS energy is at ninety percent now, acting captain.” She reported.

“What about the stability of the crystal core?”

“It’s stable. The Over Limit is still enough to use this system three times more.”

Mek reported with a big smile. Manoch nodded.

“Activate the full Feather of Angel system!”

Swoooosh~~!!

A warm breeze blew past both of them softly, along with the golden particles that spread around. The man with blue hair and red eyes, Aaron, was looking at it with a confused face, while the brown-haired girl, Emilia, raised her hand up to touch the particles.

“What is this?” Aaron murmured softly.

“....”

Emilia fell silent for a short while. She rubbed the particles on her fingertips and analyzed them.

“This is the light particles that occurred during the reviving process.”

She said softly. Aaron raised his eyebrow up high. Emilia looked up at the sky and saw the source of it. It was a bright, warm, and gentle light.

“Is that from the maggot’s ship?!” Aaron shouted.

“What are they trying to do?” Emilia murmured.

Suddenly, Alexander let out a bright light along with golden wings that spread out at the sides of the ship. A soft explosion was heard and what looked like the carnival fireworks came out of them. The lights dropped to the ground and covered the whole city so gorgeously.

“What are they trying to do?” Aaron did not seem to understand.

“...Don’t tell me...”

However, Emilia started to notice something. These particles were from supporting light magic and, to be more precise, it had to be a reviving magic. ‘Don’t tell me they are about to...’

In the blink of an eye, the golden sparkles glowed on the ground where they landed. The dead players grew wings and rose up. It was just like when a player was revived by an item.

Aaron and Emilia saw each of them rising up. Some were those they killed and some were killed by William’s dirty plan.

“They’re really reviving them,” Emilia muttered. She looked up at Alexander. It was still flying around and sparkled more golden particles to revive everyone in the field.

“They can do this much?” Aaron said. “I know that the ship can use magic, but I didn’t know it could revive this many players. There’re more than a hundred thousand dead people and it’s...”

What was even more surprising than that was that the Nemesis was reviving everyone from the Cataral, the Dominion, the Pandora, and also the alliance!

Both Aaron and Emilia could only watch them being so confused as to why they were up and running again. It would be hard to believe that it was a bug in the game. They did not know what the Nemesis was thinking!

“Everyone.”

A moment later, an announcement was heard from the sky. It was from Alexander. It was not Vincent or Maysa, but the voice was as influential.

“This is Manoch, the acting captain of Alexander. You’ve all been revived because of our reviving light particles.”

“The Nemesis?”

“Why are they reviving us?”

The field filled with chatter. Aaron and Emilia did the same. They seemed pretty anxious since they could not see where the Nemesis was going.

“Please don’t be alarmed or suspicious. We did this not because of the benefits. We only want to do it, that’s all. We’re against the leader of the alliance, William, whose dirty methods are being used in the war. I don’t wish for you to be on our side. You can still do anything you want. You can fight us or continue breaking each other apart, we don’t mind because this is your war. Think about what you’re about to do, what you believe in, and how you want the war to end. Over.”

A lot of players looked at each other anxiously. They did not understand what was happening.

There were only Aaron and Emilia who did. The Nemesis knew that the more chaotic the battlefield was, the better for them, especially if they wanted to fight them.

Viola and Sander must have told them everything!

Aaron gritted his teeth and turned to look at Emilia as if he was trying to communicate something. The girl with an indifferent face started to realize it as well. They nodded at each other.

“Our plan is ruined. They’re using these people as shields and swords to go against us.”

Aaron said.

“First, we have to destroy that ship. We don’t know what will happen again if we let it live.”

“I agree.”

Aaron nodded. Both of them were about to walk out when Emilia looked up at the sky again and what she saw got her eyes narrowed. The golden glow around the ship was gone. Instead, there were red spots coming out of the rear. They parted the air and created long strings of smoke like fighter planes.

“What is it, Emy?” Aaron asked.

“There’s something in the sky.”

Hearing his friend’s serious voice, Aaron looked up and saw the same thing. The spots were moving towards them and fast.

Something in his brain snapped softly. His Signetic started to flow frantically. It was his instinct that tried to warn him of something dangerous...

“Look out, Emilia. That’s Sander!!”

Aaron pushed Emilia back with all his might. At the same time, what just fell from the ship dropped onto him with a loud explosion. The impact got the ground breaking in a wide range!

BOOM!!

The players around there turned to the source. Emilia could only open her eyes wide.

“Y... You.”

“I’m here, Aaron. Have you been waiting long?”

A cold voice sounded with a thirsty smile.

A tall middle-aged man with shoulder-length hair and glowing rust-colored eyes was there. He was holding a scythe that was black to the blade. Aaron could barely guard the impact with his trident.

His hands trembled because of the arch enemy’s strength who just fell from the ship like a bullet.

“How do you know I’m here, stupid dog!” Aaron gritted his teeth.

“You can’t escape me.” He smiled maliciously. “This is our last battle. Let’s end it once and for all!”

“As you wish!”

Aaron shouted while swinging his trident to bounce off Sander’s weapon. It worked well at first and gave him time to gain back his footing, but Sander was fast. He swung the chain at the end of the scythe. The black chain dashed at Aaron as if its length was limitless!

“Shit!”

Aaron gritted his teeth. His right arm was now wrapped by the chain. His ruby-red eyes stared at Sander, who was about three meters away from him. Without hesitation, the master of the Magic Warrior yanked the chain back with his mighty strength. Aaron was pulled towards him without being able to do anything!

“Y... You’re stronger than before!”

“Thanks for the compliment.”

Sander said softly. As soon as his ex-friend got into his attack range, he brushed the trident away with his scythe. Once Aaron left an opening and revealed his weak point, Sander did not let the chance slip away. He slashed the scythe at Aaron’s chest with all his might.

Slash!

1,325,110

The damage number appeared along with crimson blood that gushed out of the wound like a fountain. Aaron was thrown off and dropped to his knees. His eyes narrowed in pain.

He touched the wound and felt the heat from it. It was as if the wound was being burned by the hell fire!

“You can still use that scythe so skillfully like Death, hell hound. You’ve betrayed us, but you still keep the Scythe of Hades, the weapon father gave to you. This is preposterous!”
