Chapter 637: Gungnir! Part III

Chapter 637: Gungnir! Part III

“Well, well, you’re so hot-tempered, Marcus. As expected of a beast.”

A sweet voice sounded. The man frowned tightly.

“A woman?” He murmured. “I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but if you want to fight me, get your ass out!”

“That’s rude. Can’t you be more polite with women?”

The shadow said delightfully. It was becoming a clearer figure now. Firstly, it was definitely a human because there were two legs and two arms. But who was it? He had been through a lot...

...But he had not seen anything like this before!

“Don’t worry. My duty here is to welcome the four gods. We’ll have a fun time for a while.”

“Welcome the four gods? What do you mean?”

Marcus gritted his teeth. He had wasted too much time with this stupid shadow. His subordinates were being attacked by something and he had to go help them. He did not have the time for this!

“I don’t care who you are. I’ll break your neck in a second!”

He dashed at the shadow immediately. It was the speed of light. He threw out his punch, hoping to finish the shadow in a single blow.

He was wrong!

BOOM!!

That shadowy figure defended itself from his powerful fist so easily. As soon as Marcus’s hand touched it, it slowly changed into something else. It was something that the beast had to open his mouth widely!

It did not hesitate to pull Marcus in and made him lose his footing before roundhouse kicked at his neck. Even though he guarded it with his hand, the damage was so much that he dropped to his knees!

“W... What is this?”

Marcus muttered confusingly.

It was not because of a hundred thousand damage that he received or blood that dropped from his mouth.

It was a figure in front of him that had changed into himself with paler skin. That was him. The appearance, the shape, and even the movement just now, they were his!

“Why am I there?”

----------------

“This isn’t funny.”

A soft voice came from a man with a scar on his cheek. His amber eyes were opened widely because of the shadow figure in front of him. He was shocked. It seemed like Lavi was also in the same kind of situation as Marcus. A man in front of the south gate also had a copy of himself standing there!

“What’s happening, leader?”

Emwika’s voice sounded from the communication channel.

Lavi did not reply. He stared at his paler copy and five swords floating around it.

This was real...

That was his skill. Was it even possible to copy a skill?

“There’s an issue.” Lavi simply said. “Help me find the manipulator and kill it for me.”

“A manipulator? What are you talking about? I’m confused.” Emwika asked.

“Don’t ask. I’m being attacked by a manipulator. He has a special puppet skill. Use your detecting skill to check and you’ll see a small ray of light in the air. Follow it and kill the manipulator, get it?”

Emwika went quiet.

“You’re in trouble? Do you want me to go help?”

“No need.” Lavi grinned. “Follow my order. I’ll take care of this myself. I’ll consider it as a warm-up before Vincent arrives.”

“Understood.”

Emwika hung up.

There were only Lavi and his shadow there when suddenly, a voice of a woman came from somewhere.

“You’re very bright, Mr. Lavi.” The woman chuckled. “Do you really think your subordinate can do anything to me?”

“You don’t know that.” Lavi grinned. “People who fight like this are usually good at being backbiters. You’re no more than a big baby when you have to fight face to face.”

“What a mouth you have.” She laughed. “I really want to know how you’ll deal with yourself.”

----------------

A small figure was standing on the top of a high-rise building. Her amber eyes behind the brown robe stared up ahead. She raised her hands up in the air. There was a golden light thread on the tip of her index fingers and the threads were stretched to where the battles took place. One went south and another went west.

A woman named Miguel, one of the Core, was an expert in using puppets that people called her a ‘Doll Master’.”

And the skill that she was using was ‘Copy Doll’. It was a forbidden skill that had been banned from Pride for centuries. It copied a player’s appearance and skills into an earth doll. Even the HP and movements were copied, too.

“Even though I can only use this for sixty minutes, it should be enough to stall time,” Miguel said sweetly. “It’s a shame that the skill only covers the city, or I’ll also send the doll to my beloved ex-leader, too. You’re still as careful as ever, Sven. I really can’t underestimate you.”

Miguel looked at the golden thread at her fingertips with a confident smile.

“But nah... the more I control, the more disadvantages, especially the opponents are these two monsters. This should be quite a fun time.”

She licked those lips thirstily.

----------------

BOOM!!!

Sounds of explosions continued. So many players were thrown around horrifyingly in different directions. It was as if they were hit by a driven truck. Everything was destroyed!

“These people are crazy!”

“T... They’re not humans!”

“Be careful! Don’t use magic. That woman can absorb magic!”

“Where’s Akkee? Call him here!”

“Akkee and the chief of staff are somewhere else. We have to do this ourselves!”

“This is too much. Where’s the leader?!”

“I don’t know!”

The commotion doubled when the members of the Pandora started to drop dead like falling leaves. Even though they had been fighting with all their might, they could not put a brake on the two mysterious men who recently jumped into the fight and prevented them from moving into the alliance base.

One of them was a man with dark spiky blue hair and aggressive eyes. He was holding a bloody trident in his hand.

Another one was a woman with short brown hair and dead blue eyes, yet sparkling with malice.

“It seems Miguel’s doing nicely.” The blue-haired man smiled.

“Mhmm.” The girl simply nodded.

While the members of the Pandora were in fear, they had some time to communicate. Aaron let out a long sigh.

“Good grief. Without the four gods, these men are newborns.”

“They can’t help it. They don’t have the Signetic like them.”

Emilia got the guy scratching his head.

“You’re right. But that’s exactly why I don’t like this cleaning-up job.”

“But it’s an order,” Emilia said with a straight face.

“I know that.” He sighed. “We have to clear this up before those crazy people arrive so that innocent people won’t get involved. Lucius can be too kind at times.”

“Because that’s him.”

Then, they parted ways. Aaron swung his spear and killed so many Pandora members, while Emilia also killed a lot with her magic earth hammer. Sometimes she called giant thorns up from the ground and penetrated the enemies!

“But this is too easy.” Aaron smiled awkwardly while he was stabbing five more opponents as if there were grilled meatballs on a stick. “I hope those two are having fun over there.”
