Chapter 634: The Last Battle! Part V

Chapter 634: The Last Battle! Part V

“Stupid!”

The growl was from the west army.

The Dominion was in a similar situation with the Cataral. The turrets and all the shootings had actually gotten even the most ‘destructive’ guild crippled.

“There’re so many ways to defend yourself. This Kamikaze method is so pathetic. Only a coward does this!”

A hoarse voice was still growling. An armored tall man with a loose braid looked at the turrets and the stupid alliance. They seemed to be willing to do it, even though they were tricked.

The Bloody Iron Beast Marcus saw that and swore so much with displeasure.

“Leader, should we retreat first? If we can get out of the shooting range, those people will definitely be killed by the shootings.”

His right-hand chief of staff said and Marcus’s veins on his temple started to dance. He looked at the boy and hit him in the head!

“Aghhhhh! Why did you do that?!”

“Because you just suggested something so cowardly,” Marcus said before he walked away. “I’ll kill anyone who tries to escape. There’re so many ways to shed the enemy’s blood. There’s no need to do what that stupid William does!”

He stopped in front of a huge pine tree. It was about 20 meters tall. Marcus grinned. He placed his hand on the tree and buried his fingers in it. Wittaya raised his eyebrow.

“What are you trying to do, leader??”

“First of all, we have to destroy the obstacles.”

----------------

“We’re not retreating?!”

A sweet voice rang agitatedly.

The Pandora’s army in the south did not escape William’s cannons, either. Emwika, the secretary, had to shout to talk to Lavi, her leader, because the sound of everything was too loud.

“Yes! We’re going against them sooner or later anyway. We better get it done once and for all!”

Lavi shouted back while looking at his defensive soldiers who were rushing to the front line to guard everyone from the shootings.

“But I think we should back out and find a solution to this first, leader!” Emwika suggested.

“Judging from their personality and plan, I think the alliance here isn’t that good. They’re more like disposable pawns. Our main problem now is the cannons. If we can destroy them, we’ll be able to go through them very easily. If we back off now, there may be stronger ones waiting for us before we know it.”

Lavi’s reason actually sounded. He was always calm and composed when it came to fighting strategy. His decision that was made by his instinct had always been so trustworthy that Emwika did not know what to say.

“Then, how should we destroy the cannons? I don’t want our front line to get hurt anymore.”

“Don’t worry. I have a plan.” Lavi glanced back. “Right, kid!?”

The shout got the young man, who was tying up his shoelaces, looking up and smiling confidently.

“Leave it to this Akkee. I only need ten seconds for those silly cannons!”

----------------

“Our cannons work very well. The Cataral has lost 5% of their army already, sir.”

“The Dominion is still holding on to their post, yet they’ve already lost 10% of their front line.”

“The Pandora, too.”

The voices of the subordinates crashed at each other while they were trying to report. The purple-haired man, who was standing on the mezzanine of the commanding room in Tristan, smiled with satisfaction.

“Good.” He said. “Keep firing cannons. As soon as our first troop started attacking the enemy, have our main gunners on the back line shoot them all.”

“But we’ll hit our people as well.”

A female soldier argued with her pale face. William stared at her so hard that she drooped down and went back to her screen.

“There’s always sacrifice in a war. And those people have already been rewarded nicely.” William smirked. “Proceed with the plan. After shooting the cannons from the back line, get the main army out and kill them all!”

“Yes, sir!”

Then, the man sat down on his commander’s seat. He was so laid back and put his feet up on the table without all the care in the world.

“The four gods are nothing when they have to face a large army like this. Aren’t you too careless, Mr. Sven? Do you really think that I’ll surrender just because I’m surrounded? What an insult.”

His eyes shone with mischief. He licked his lips like a wild animal waiting for its prey. His hands were intertwined under his chin.

“Then, it’s a checkmat...”

Beep Beep Beep!

He had not finished what he had to say when a security alarm echoed throughout the place, startling the tall figure. The female operator rushed to the alarm screen. Her eyes were opened widely when she turned to William.

“Leader, i... it seems like three turrets in the west have been destroyed!”

“What?!!”

William sprang up from his seat. He could not even keep his facial expression composed.

“How can that be? There shouldn’t be anyone who can reach the cannons from that distance!”

----------------

BOOM!!!

The explosion occurred again. This time, it was another cannon that was hit by something that looked like a big tree!

“Great!”

Marcus growled. He grabbed another pine tree that was uprooted on the ground. Meanwhile, the enemy halted their feet and watched such an amazingly terrifying scene in front of them.

“Then, take another!!!”

Marcus yelled out before he jumped up high with a tree in his hand. At that moment, a cannonball dashed at him. He shouted.

“You’re in the way!!”

BOOM!!

The reckless man did a roundhouse kick and sent the cannonball flying in another direction. Once there was an opening, he threw the tree in his hand with all his might. It was not only powerful but also extremely accurate. Another three turrets had now been destroyed!

“Okay, only a few left. Just you wait, fools, your leader will lead you in now!”

Marcus shouted and his army cried out in harmony. They seemed pretty impressed with what their leader was doing.

Yet, Wittaya, his right-handed secretary, shook his head wearily.

“Still as reckless as ever. I can imagine the leader of their army being so shocked that a whole swarm of flies can build a community in his mouth now.”

----------------

“M... Madness... Did he just throw a tree from that distance?!”

And it was as expected. William was so shocked his mouth was opening so widely.

“L... Leader, another two turrets in the west have been destroyed. If we leave it like this, all of them will be finished soon!”

He was frozen in place as if he could not function anymore. He was about to give out an order when the alarm sounded again!

Beep Beep Beep!

“L... Leader, the south gate!”

“W... What is it now?!!”

William screeched loudly and turned to that female operator.

“We detect that players from the opponent’s side are charging at ours.”

“W... What?!”

“They ran through our weapon with a stable speed.”

“T... This is crazy.”

----------------

“Charge~!!”

A small figure of a boy dashed forward with an incredible speed. It was beyond human ability. He was as fast as a cheetah!

BOOM!!

He could even dodge all cannonballs, arrows, and magic that kept shooting at him. His bright blue eyes stared at the army in front of him. The army seemed to be slowing down.

Why would they not be?

The boy was dashing at them through all the shootings like he was a storm!

“Sorry, I don’t have time to play with you. Let me in!”

Akkee shouted before he jumped past them with ease like he had wings. The players looked up at him.

Akkee’s sharp eyes stared at the turrets and immediately pinpointed their locations. He raised his hands and threw a small energy ball out.

The golden energy ball hit the first turret on the city wall. As soon as they touched, a huge explosion occurred and the heat startled the alliance. Some of them kept looking at the boy who was jumping over the city wall inside so easily.

He even destroyed the turret as if he was breaking a pencil!

----------------

“It’s been confirmed that he’s Akkee from the Pandora.”

“L... Leader, Akkee is in the city already. What should we do?”

The reports kept coming. William got more and more agitated. Big drops of sweat started to run down his cheeks. His eyes were wide open. He did not expect the enemy to get in so easily!

No, normal people would not be able to do it. What kind of monster were they?!

“Tell the main army to get moving. The front line can start attacking immediately. Divide the main army into two: one positioned in the city and another to support the front line. Get some of the people from the north gate here, too, since Sven is still stuck with the cannons. We’ll go normally as planned there...”

Beep Beep Beep!

He had not finished his command when the alarm rang again. The man trembled furiously. He rubbed his head madly.

“What the hell is happening again~~??!!!”

“I... It looks like the turrets at the north have all been destroyed.”

“What!!!”

Hearing that, William opened his eyes widely. Sven seemed to have less potential than the others, yet he was the first to get rid of all the turrets.

“D... Damn it! Get everyone out! Do something! Don’t let them in!!”

----------------

“Charge and seize Tristan!!”

At the other side of the wall in the north of Tristan, the Cataral could finally find an opening to counterattack. Bhira and Jade started their battle cry, which prompted the rest of them to grab their weapons and run towards the enemy’s front line. The alliance was in a panic to see how easily the turrets were destroyed.

The man with red eyes was still standing there, but now with a red magic bow in his hand. He grinned and let out a scoff softly.

“It seems like you’re underestimating The Black Bullet of Cataral, William.” He laughed. “And those monsters, too. Even I can’t calculate them, a fool like you won’t stand a chance.”

He made a bow in his hand disappear. Obviously, a long-range weapon was Sven’s strong point. The turrets with so little defense power could not withstand him.

That was why fifteen turrets were destroyed as easily as winning a shooting game in a carnival!

“Then, shall we start, Mr. Alliance? I’ll teach you that the amount of people doesn’t play a part in a war.”
