Chapter 632: The Last Battle! Part III
Chapter 632: The Last Battle! Part III
Another army that was so happy was the one in the south. They were enjoying the party even more than the others. They all took turns doing crazy things, be it dancing, twerking, singing so loudly, or even gambling!
Crash!!!
They could hear the sound of a fight from time to time, but they did not seem to care about that. They were all used to it already.
At the source of the noise, a tall figure of a long-haired man was there. He let his black hair down tonight. He wore only jeans, revealing his beautiful muscles on his top. His aggressive face showed a smile that seemed to be satisfied. Drops of sweat on him made his muscles sparkle against the moonlight.
“Leader, I think that should be enough. Are you trying to do a monster massacre here?”
A high-pitched voice sounded from behind him, and a towel was tossed at the long-haired man. He grabbed it and wiped off the sweat on his face.
“Not yet, Wit.” He smiled maliciously. “This is just a warm-up. I have to be heated up at all times since I’ll be crushing that little Vincent in several hours from now!”
Marcus of the Dominion clenched his fists. He looked up at the sky and smiled.
Tomorrow. You and me, Vincent!!

Another army up north was different because they were quiet. There was no loud party like the others. They only chatted and talked about the war as if it was a tea-time conversation. They seemed at ease.
And in a big tent, a light from the lamp inside could still be seen. It was a sign that the man in the tent was still up.
The tall man was sitting at his desk, looking at almost thirty information screens around the room. He leaned against the backrest of the chair and crossed his legs. He stroked his lips as if he was thinking about something.
“Are you still up, leader?”
A sweet voice sounded from behind him. The man did not flinch. He only flicked his hand to push the screens away to see a girl walking into the tent with a hot coffee mug in her hand.
The man sighed and smiled. He took his silver-framed glasses off his face and threw them into his item box.
“There’s still plans to think of. I want to spend every second on it. There’s no time to rest.”
The girl, whose hair was put up in a loose ponytail, sighed wearily.
“But you need some sleep when you use your brain so much like this. You don’t want to be blurred in the fight, do you?”
She offered him the coffee.
“You’re right.” Sven grinned. “Sleeping is important, but it’s very difficult for me. If you sleep next to me, maybe I’ll give in.”
The girl’s face flushed. She stomped up to him and hit his arm.
“You perv!”
Sven laughed and sipped his coffee. He went back to the screens again. Nuchjaree did not mean to disturb him. She was only worried and wanted this jerk to get some rest, too.
However, it seemed like they were the same stubborn people.
She could only walk to his bed and sit on it. She looked at the man in front of her. His determined face was so attractive that it was hard to take her eyes off him.
“Nuchjaree.”
Sven called her name.
“Yes, sir?”
The woman was still in a moment when she replied with her sweet voice. The man halted and took his eyes off the screens.
“You can talk nicely, too?” Sven chuckled.
“H...Huh? It was just a coincidence. What?!” Nuchjaree scolded him.
The man laughed before he let out a long sigh.
“I just want to ask you something.”
“...What is it?!” She was blunt.
“If you have to fight the Nemesis, can you do it?”
The unexpected question got her stunned. Her rosy lips parted a little, yet her rust-colored eyes did not flinch at all. Nuchjaree’s face was full of confidence when she spoke.
“I can’t.”
Sven halted for a while. He looked into her eyes and realized that she was not joking.
“They’re my friends. They’re my important family members. If I have to fight them, I can’t.” She let out a long sigh. “I’m so sorry, Sven.”
“What for?”
Sven asked. The girl raised her eyebrow.
“It’s good, Nuchjaree. You don’t have to force yourself to do something you don’t want to. It’ll only make you suffer, and I don’t want that.” He got up from his seat and sat down next to her. “I’m not complaining that you can’t shoot at your friends. I’m actually glad that you’re honest with me.”
He patted her head gently.
“And don’t worry. I have something else for you to do in the war, my beautiful deputy leader.”

Not so long after the fun, the sunlight shone throughout the sky again. The three major armies had already surrounded Tristan. The weather was nice today. There were thick clouds, yet the sky was so bright, and the cool breeze blew.
Up in the sky, the helicopter from the ‘Free Pride TV’ was there on patrol as usual.
“Good morning, everyone. My name’s Kannika and I’m here above Tristan.” The female reporter was holding her microphone and talking to the camera with the tail of the helicopter as a background.
“As all may have been notified, today is a D-Day that all the major armies are gathering here and making Tristan, the center of Pride, a battlefield. And today at 9 a.m., The Cataral from the north, the Dominion from the west, and the Pandora from the south have already established themselves around the city wall.”
Then, the reporter pointed behind her as a sign for the cameraman to zoom in at the three armies that were so prepared to charge at Tristan even less than five hundred meters away from the wall.
“Right now, the William Star, the center army, is being supported by the independent armies, which makes it the army of roughly two hundred thousand people!”
The reporter looked surprised. She leaned out and saw tons of people lining up and welcoming the four gods in front of the city. The number of people was giving her goosebumps.
“William, the leader of the army, is confident that he’s going to win the war since he has this much support on his side that is enough to put up a fight with the four gods.”
Kannika turned back to the camera with her excited face again and swung her arm out.
“However!” She raised her voice. “There’re only the Cataral, the Dominion, and the Pandora here. I haven’t seen the Bunny Burner and the people’s favorite Nemesis at all. As for the Bunny Burner, I know that they haven’t announced clearly that they’re going to participate in the war, but the Nemesis is the second guild to announce their decision to invade Tristan. I haven’t seen them at all. Is it because they’ve seen the number of people supporting the central army and have already backed out?”
She clenched her fist and leaned towards the camera so close that the cameraman was startled.
“I won’t allow that. Quickly come out, my Vincent!”
“Hey, hey, Kan, this is live. Hold your horses.”
