Chapter 621: The Last Training Part III
Chapter 621: The Last Training Part III
“Shut up.”
The man said with a straight face. He moved his glowing hand closer to the frog’s face, making him scream!
“Okay, okay, I’ll be quiet. Please don’t hurt me, brother. I know you’re good. The best in this world!”
Fredoric desperately talked himself out.
“I don’t believe a merchant like you would have a business here. Which guild are you a spy of?”
“Are you crazy?! A handsome frog like me, a spy?!”
The frog objected. He was struggling at the tip of the spear. The man glanced at Waree again for her advice and she only shrugged back the same way as before.
Because there was still a high possibility that the frog was a spy.
However, it was only an NPC, and would the NPCs usually be able to come inside the guild’s meeting room with such good protection?
“What’s happening? I hear your voice from all the way out there!?”
A loud voice sounded again with Manoch running into the tent with a worried face. He saw his friends there and Fredoric at the tip of the spear, he laughed out loud.
“Hey, frog, what did you do to deserve that?”
“Being too handsome, maybe?!” The frog yelled at him. “Help me, glasses! Will you just leave me here forever? And tell this sadist man I’m not a normal frog!”
‘The sadist man’ raised his eyebrow, while the ‘glasses’ only let out a long sigh. He was getting used to this frog’s foul mouth. Manoch grabbed Shindanai’s shoulder.
“Let it go, Shin. Take it as a merit making.”
“...Your acquaintance?” Shindanai asked.
“If I didn’t have to do business with him, I wouldn’t count him in.”
Manoch sighed. Shindanai shook his head while he flicked the spear and the frog bounced off and hit the desk with a loud thud and an “Aph!”.
Once she got the creature off her, Maysa was back to her normal self. She walked up to Manoch and yanked his shirt collar so hard that he almost fell.
“Is this all you? Are you teasing me~~?!”
“Hey, hey, calm down, May.” Manoch raised his hands up as a sign of giving up. “I didn’t mean to. What can I do? The dungeon’s merchant is a frog. If I was only worried about you, I wouldn’t be about to get my work done. That’s why I have to complete the quest and hire this frog as a merchant NPC on our ship. What he sells is all the essentials to fix the ship!”
“Don’t talk like it’s nothing! When we were in sixth grade, you put a frog inside my desk. This time, you’re doing it again, right? You’re horrible!”
“Hey, didn’t you listen to me? I swear I didn’t intend to.”
“I don’t believe you!”
“What the heck is wrong with you?!”
Manoch screamed and tried to take his friend’s hands off. However, she was so mad and that made her so strong he could not shake it off!
Waree glanced at Shindanai wearily. They were about to separate them when Fredoric the frog jumped onto the desk with two big holes in his torso!
“Glasses, it’s not what you promised me. You told me that I could snuggle with anyone. Why does this pretty lady hate me? And that sadist just stabbed me twice!”
The frog screamed and pointed at the holes. Once Maysa saw him, she dashed behind Manoch.
“Ahhh! It’s here again!”
Seeing that the situation was getting worse, Manoch sighed loudly.
“Choose your girl, damn it! Not just anyone!”
“What? Is that my fault?” The frog put his hands on his hips.
“What do you mean, Ae? What did you promise it? What’s that about snuggling with any girl?!”
This question got Manoch scratching his face.
“Sorry, Mek and I tried to talk him into signing the contract to be our NPC merchant here. He didn’t sign it until...”
“Until...?” Everyone repeated.
“I let him see photos of the girls in our guild and told him that he’ll get to see them every day if you come work for us. I gave him permission to talk or snuggle with anyone and he signed right away.”
“Horrible friend!”
Maysa screeched into Manoch’s ear so loud that the man had to cover it.
“Woahh! You almost broke my eardrum! Oh, May~ Why are you so afraid of a mere frog? Just shoot him dead if he bothers you so much.”
“Hey, you cat face, why did you encourage her to kill me?”
Fredoric yelled at him and made an annoying noise. He turned to Maysa and was about to wave to her as a sign of friendship, but she did not even want to look at his toes. He sighed.
“This one seems difficult, ribbit.” It complained softly and glanced at Waree. “Wow! This one is also really beautiful! I changed my mind!”
He rubbed his hands together and was about to jump at Waree, who was blinking in awe.
POW!!
“APPH!”
However, his dream was crushed by a foot that stomped on him. It was Shindanai, who had been patient enough with the frog. Even though he was usually calm, seeing the frog trying to jump at Waree, he got mad.
“S... Shin.” The girl smiled awkwardly.
“Annoying,” Shin murmured softly.
“..I... Is it dead? Anyone, please throw him away.”
May frantically pointed at the green creature on the floor.
“Huhhh~ What is all this?”
It was Manoch who let out a long sigh.
The frog was lucky that Na was out with Baron, otherwise, he would not want to imagine what would happen to Fredoric for messing with his girlfriend...
Brrrr~!
He would not want to know how he would be skinned alive!
----------------
ACHOOO!!
A sneeze echoed in the air. He rubbed his nose gently.
But he did not have time to wonder about the sneeze since what was in front of him was the most amazing thing he had ever seen!
“Damn it, I wonder how far I am from the ground.”
He covered his eyes and stared at the clouds below him that were scattered all over the place. He whistled. Even though he was used to flying in the sky, he never dared to fly this high up.
“Eeee~! If I fall, I don’t think I have to imagine what would happen to me.”
Wisana muttered while leaning out to look down. Of course, he did not see anything other than the clouds.
“The War Fortress. It’s high, but it’s safe. No one can interfere with our training here.”
A voice sounded behind him and three ladies appeared. Two of them were Sarquros and Mona Lisa. They were dragged here. The last lady was wearing a black cloth mask, covering the upper part of her face. Even though it looked strange, she said that it was more comfortable and the best for exercising.
She put her silver hair up into a loose ponytail. She even took out her greyish robe and wore a black long nightgown. The dress was slit so high up and revealed her smooth pale thigh. She wore light-weighted armor on her chest and knee-high boots.
It was obvious that Baron was ready for a fight, too!
“The War Fortress?” Wisana raised his eyebrow. “The super high tower dungeon located close to Tristan?”
“Nowhere else like that,” Baron said and pushed her hair back.
“Incredible. How did you do it? You only flicked your fingers and we warped from the base to here. Don’t tell me that you’re actually the fat cat from the twenty-second century.”
“Nonsense.” Baron cut him off and shook her head. “Stop with those and focus on your training, brat. I tell you we only have five days before the war. We’re not going back to the base until we’re done here.”
“W... Wait, what about the others?”
