Chapter 573: The Desert Warriors Part III
Chapter 573: The Desert Warriors Part III
“Who the hell dares to do that? What a prick.”
They were walking up to the front line when people started to make way. They, then, saw a familiar face standing there.
A short black-haired man with ruby-red eyes and a short-haired girl with rust-colored eyes.
One of the four gods of the Cataral was back with no scratch on him. He even held hands with the girl, whom Bhira remembered that she was once the Cataral’s prisoner of war!
“Leader!”
Bhira beamed happily, while Jade was as calm as ever.
“Bhira.” Sven greeted him and walked to him with Nuchjaree. “I’ve been away for only days and you have so much authority to gather this many people out?”
That reprimand got Bhira to smile awkwardly and scratch his neck.
“I’m so sorry, leader.” He said. “But somebody told us that you got captured by the Nemesis, so...”
“So you’re invading them?”
The leader finished the sentence. Bhira could only smile wryly back.
This was the real Sven of the Cataral guild. His few words and composition were always stunning.
The leader was back!
“I’ll take care of you lots when we reach the guild!”
Sven shouted. Strangely, no one was afraid of that at all. They all smiled very happily and shouted back. Nuchjaree smiled at the sight. She just knew that he was the same as Wisana, a magnet.
“What about this girl?” Bhira pointed at Nuchjaree. “Leader used her to escape?”
The tomboyish girl frowned at him. Sven laughed.
“Used her?” He said. “If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have been back here. And the Nemesis did not capture me. They rescued me, you fools.”
Bhira halted and raised his eyebrow.
“They rescued you?”
“That’s right. Now, do you still want to fight them?”
“..Eh... huh? Errr...”
Bhira was speechless. He glanced at Nuchjaree who was glaring at him. He waved.
“Nah... If you’re safe, then there’s no need for that anymore.”
Sven laughed. Jade frowned and clenched his fists tightly.
“Then, this girl?” Bhira was still at it. “Why did you bring her here?”
Sven looked the girl in the eye and smiled so gently that even Bhira could feel that.
“It seems like helping me is against their rules, so they fired her.”
“Huh? Fired?” Bhira drawled.
“That’s why I have to be responsible and take her in. I hope you don’t have a problem with that?”
Sven asked. Everyone shook his head. Bhira kept waving. “Who would have said otherwise.”
“Then, let’s go back to Dores,” Sven said.
“Eh? What about our hideout close to here? You’re not going to wait there for the time to attack the William Star in Tristan?”
“Because of that, we have to finish something in Dores first. I order everyone to go back to Dores, understood?”
“Y-Yes!”
Bhira was so loud that Sven nodded with satisfaction. He took Nuchjaree to the closest carriage, which was Bhira and Jade’s. The two men had to be the drivers instead on the way back.
“Everyone looks up to you,” Nuchjaree said. “Unlike Na, the members can even kick him, I bet.”
Sven smiled.
“Why am I not surprised?” The man chuckled.
Then, Sven sent Nuchjaree up in the carriage. But before he could do the same, a shout was heard from behind.
“Are you sure about this, leader?!”
Sven glanced back.
“Jade!” Bhira tried to stop him. He put his hand on Jade’s shoulder, but the man pushed it away.
“It’s true that the Nemesis did you a favor, but this is war. If we don’t destroy them, they may be back for us later. Let’s go now. We’re so ready for it!”
Hearing that, Sven frowned tightly. Nuchjaree leaned out from the carriage.
“We’re not that stupid!” She shouted. “Why are you so absorbed in this? They’re in pretty bad shape as they are.”
“Shut up, bitch. Who asked you?!”
He had not finished the sentence when a small knife dashed and stopped in front of his face. The shiny silver blade with a chain at the end was a controllable weapon. And the owner was none other than the leader.
Bhira looked at the knife that just flew past his face and swallowed his saliva. Jade’s eyes were opened widely.
“Jade, you should learn to be politer to women, especially this one. Don’t you dare call her ‘bitch’ again, understood?”
“.....”
Jade was at a loss for words.
Sven smiled at him. That smile was captivating as if it was magic. His eyes were terrifying.
“And one more thing, Jade.” He said. “Who’s the leader, you or me?”
The man swallowed his saliva and avoided Sven’s gaze.
“..Y-You, Mr. Sven.”
The man with ruby-red eyes beamed at him and called the knife back into his sleeve.
“I’m in a good mood right now.” He climbed up on the carriage. “Don’t ruin it. It’s not a warning, it’s an order.”
“...Yes, sir.” Jade gritted his teeth.
“Let’s move to Dores.”
Sven closed the door behind him loudly. Bhira could only sigh and ordered everyone to go back to Dores. He glanced at Jade, who was still standing there, and sighed.
“Luckily, the leader’s back or it could get dirty.” He muttered.

“Nam!”
A panicked voice sounded, and a small figure ran towards her. The girl at the exit door turned back with a smile.
“May, you okay? I heard Aerin say that you went out, too.”
“I’m fine.” Maysa scrutinized Waree and saw a big spot of blood on Waree’s white shirt. Her eyes widened.
“Blood?” Maysa cried out. “Are you hurt, Nam?”
“Ah, this?” Waree looked at her shirt and smiled wryly. “This is not mine. It’s Kong’s. He helped me in the crystal room and got attacked.”
“Kong? Is he alright?” Maysa was surprised.
“He’s fine. I sent him to the nurse now, don’t worry.”
Maysa sighed with relief. The door was slowly opened and Shindanai ran up to them.
“Waree.” He called the girl’s name.
“Shin, how are you? Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine.” He shook his head.
“What about Ae?” Maysa asked.
“I took him to the crystal room. The aiding unit is there, too, so don’t worry.”
“Mmm. Thanks. Must have been rough.”
“You, too.”
All three of them waited for the door to the ship to open. It seemed like everything was back to normal again. The problem was that they did not know what had just happened. They did not understand why the bugs disappeared. She asked the bridge and Aerin told her that Dysandwal had already been killed.
...But how?
That girl did it?
The more she thought about it, the more confused she was.
The door opened. There were stairs that led to the sand below.
The very first second that the sunlight hit them, happy cries from hundreds of people were heard. They halted.
“W-What is this?” Maysa muttered.
They saw so many people in front of the ship as if they were waiting for a movie star to walk by. Some of them even jumped around cheerfully.
“Are these people the Nemesis from around the world?” Shin asked May.
“No. We don’t have this many people.” Maysa answered.
“Let’s talk about it later. Na is over there, talking to someone.”
Waree cut the conversation short and pointed in one direction. Beyond the crowd, Wisana was there. He was talking to an unfamiliar man.
“Their leader, maybe?” Maysa said. “Let’s go to them.”
The three of them nodded and got off the ship. They had to part the red sea. Every hand tried to reach out to touch them. Shin decided to walk behind the two girls, so no one could take this chance to sexually harass them. The girls had to bend down and quickly walk past them.
“Wahhhh! I finally got to touch Shin! He’s so handsome up close!”
“Woahh, Nam’s cheek is so soft. I want to kill my girlfriend right now!”
“Weeeee! Maysa is so cute. And that shape, too. I want to take her home. Ahhhh~!”
It took a lot for them before they could finally get through. Once they were safe from the crowd, it was Shin who had the most wry look on his face.
“What is it, Shin?”
