Chapter 572: The Desert Warriors Part II

Chapter 572: The Desert Warriors Part II

“...E-Eighteen million for only one hit?” Wisana muttered.

After that, the bursts continued. Dysandwal was broken apart into so many parts. It was obvious that attacking from the inside made it unable to counter. And that woman, Viola, was a monster, too!

The damage got higher and higher. It started from ten million and now it was sixty million. It was almost a hundred million now!!

“W-What is this woman?!”

Wisana was at a loss for words. He had never seen anything like this before. Even his final blow could only do sixty million. And this woman...

BOOM!!

140,871,633!!

Dysandwal’s head exploded with the most damage point that Wisana had ever seen!

“T-This is crazy... This is madness!” He shouted.

The woman kept attacking until the accumulated damage was almost at a thousand million! Was she really planning on killing this boss by herself alone?!!

“Hey, the boy up there!!”

Suddenly, a voice sounded from the communication channel. The man was startled a little. He narrowed his eyes and opened the window up.

“If you don’t want collateral damage, can you move from my range? You’re in my way.”

Wisana knew right away that this strangely familiar sweet voice was of that woman in the whale.

“What are you thinking?!” Wisana shouted in panic.

“Whatever. Don’t ask and just watch. Now, move away from me, useless boy!”

The woman was so bossy that Wisana had to quickly give in. It looked like he was really a little too close to Dysandwal. He was careless since it was bound.

“Good. Now, I’ll end this once and for all!”

The girl in a mask shouted. And that was when Wisana was startled.

BOOM!!!

187,889,523!!

An incredible damage number appeared at the same time with a gigantic ray of light that splashed through the monster and into the sky. The audience could only look and open his mouth widely. That light even moved and slowly cut the beast open into two. At that moment, its health point immensely decreased and the number kept increasing.

“..W-What’s this? What is this power?!” Wisana yelled out.

Dysandwal was finally split in half. The accumulated damage terrifyingly stopped at 679,996,563!

----------------

Slash!

456,774!

That was the last slash from a sword that killed the bug. The tall figure, who was defending himself, looked around and saw that so many bugs around him slowly faded away.

“Vanishing like this... Is the boss dead?”

Shin was surprised. He did not think that anyone could do it.

“What’s happening outside?” He frowned tightly.

“Just let it go for now.”

Manoch was sitting on the floor by the wall. His torso was wounded. He looked at so many dead bugs around him and also some of the members who failed.

But this was not the time to sit around.

“Take me to the crystal. I have to fix it fast.” Manoch said.

Shin nodded and quickly helped him up to the crystal room, even though he was dying to know who in this world just killed the mad boss?!

----------------

Bang!!

The sound of the gun came out at the same time that the bugs started to fade away. Maysa raised her eyebrow and looked around at the other bugs. Seeing them slowly fading away, she sighed and dropped onto the ground wearily.

“Just in time.”

She looked back. Just a little more and the bugs would be able to destroy the engine.

“It’s surely not easy to be a Nemesis..” She rested her face on her knees.

----------------

Outside of the ship, the tall figure was still looking down at the whale’s split body. The outside was bad, but the inside was even worse and scary. It was burnt and slashed to the point that every organ was mushy. There were almost no inner organs left. The heart was the worst.

The man felt a little nauseated.

“This lady is mad,” Wisana said and swallowed his saliva. “Who is she, exactly?”

Later, he saw the woman slowly climb up on the whale with ease. Her clothes were not covered with the green blood as he expected. It was so obvious how good she was!

Viola looked up at the man who was still flying in the sky even without all the bugs. She smiled and chuckled softly.

“Don’t be alarmed just yet, son.” She said. “Your mother still has a lot more in her.”

Suddenly, a translucent bottle with a light green fluid inside appeared in front of her. It was so cold that there were drops of water around the bottle. Viola beamed and opened the bottle.

“Thanks, Alice. You can really read my mind.”

She poured the liquid into her throat as if she had not been drinking anything for years. Then, she sighed as hard as she could with the happiest face.

“Lemonade is so good after an exercise~~!!”

----------------

The hot air and the fight in the desert had finished. Up north, in the area close to Tristan, the Cataral army was closer now to where they were informed that the Nemesis was hiding. That was why they had sent over five hundred members here from Dores.

So many players were riding on big colorful birds, making the dust from the ground diffuse everywhere. At the back of the parade, there were five carriages that were drawn by four birds with a stable speed.

Inside the first carriage, two players were sitting there with their angry faces. One of them was Bhira, the orange-haired man and the leader of the Cataral guild’s field unit. He was staring out the window as if he was thinking about something. The other man was Jade, a short silver-haired man with a scar on his face.

“Hey, Jade, can you please stop making that annoying noise? It’s bugging me.”

Suddenly, Bhira said. He was resting his head on his hand on the window pane. He glanced at the other man who was sharpening his knife, which made a loud clattering noise.

“If you don’t want to hear it, close your ears or change the carriage.” Jade simply spoke.

“The other carriages were full and no one wanted to sit with a psycho like you. That’s why I have to be here.”

Hearing that, Jade scoffed.

“And listen, we’re moving there to rescue the leader, not start a war.”

Jade chuckled.

“I don’t care what you’re doing. I only have a business with that annoying hunter, Shin.”

He licked the blade of his knife thirstily.

“Just you wait, hunter. I’ll make you pay so much for this scar.”

Jade stroked the scar on his face with a cruel-looking face. His eyes glowed so brightly that the other man had to sigh.

“No matter what, you shouldn’t do unnecessary things, got it?” Bhira said. “We’re not certain just yet if the news we received was legit. Maybe leader isn’t with the Nemesis at all.”

“I don’t fucking care.” Jade scolded. “Legit or not, this is the chance for me to get to Shin.”

Bhira let out a long sigh this time. He knew what the man beside him was like and being scarred by that Shin the hunter in the very first war was pretty frustrating. However, no matter how he looked at it, this was not something personal at all.

He only hoped nothing bad would happen.

The Cataral had been in turmoil enough that Sven was not here.

The more Bhira thought, the wearier he got.

SCREEEECH!

Suddenly, the carriages braked, and the two men almost fell to the bottom of it. It was lucky for them that they held onto the wall on time. They looked at each other, puzzled.

“Hey, why did we stop?” Jade leaned out and asked the driver.

“I’m very sorry, Jade. Everyone’s stopping, so I had to.”

Hearing that, they frowned. Bhira opened the door and got out of the carriage. He looked ahead and saw that over five hundred people had already stopped walking. Everyone was talking to each other.

“What is it? Why the stop?” Jade got off after him.

“I don’t know. Maybe somebody’s interrupting us?” Bhira said.

“Who the hell dares to do that? What a prick.”
