Chapter 571: The Desert Warriors Part I
Chapter 571: The Desert Warriors Part I
HOOOO~~~!!!
Dysandwal cried out so loudly, either from its severe wound or it was angry that the attack was uncalled for.
The man who was flying in the sky was shocked and clueless about what just happened. Everything happened so fast. He only knew that there was a golden light that looked like a slash of a sword hitting the monster right before it crushed the ship.
And most importantly...
“That woman?”
Wisana muttered. He felt a flashing pain in his head when he looked at the small figure below. The woman whose size was average... No, very small. She also covered herself from head to toe with a robe and her face was half covered with a mask.
“Love!!”
Sarquros interrupted.
Wisana looked back and saw that a bug was about to strike him. With his inhuman instinct, he avoided it fairly easily before stabbing it with his sword!
“The fight isn’t over yet. We don’t know who that woman is, but I think she’s here to help!” Sarquros flew to his side. “From the attack just now, she’s definitely at a high level. We should leave Dysandwal to her and take care of these bugs.”
Wisana gritted his teeth and glanced at the smoking ship below.
This was more important.
“Don’t let any more of them get into the ship, Samie!” Wisana said and continued the fight.
“Roger!” Sarquros said.
----------------
“C-Captain... The attack just now was from an anonymous player.”
Aerin reported and sent the footage to the main screen. Maysa, who was trying to make sense of what had happened, quickly turned to it. She narrowed her eyes when she saw the woman in a brown robe.
“Who’s that?” She asked.
“No information in our data,” Aerin said.
“But she helped us just now, right?” Warunya said. “Maybe she’s not our enemy.”
Maysa bit her lips. Her brain was functioning so fast, thinking about what she should do next.
It would be strange for her to believe immediately that the woman was a friend since Nemesis’s enemies were everywhere right now. However, they had to fix what was in front of them first!
“Be careful of that woman. I’ll leave the deck to you guys. Stella, please take my place for the time being. Orn, tell Ae to make the ship fly as soon as possible because this is our chance. Aerin and Angie, take down every bug in the ship!”
“Yes, captain!” Everyone shouted.
Maysa brought out her Illusion gun and ran out of the deck.
----------------
“Okay, it’s time for an exercise.”
A cheery voice rang while the owner of it snapped her neck back and forth.
A small figure of a woman in a robe held onto her sword tightly while walking leisurely towards the monster. It was just like how people walked in a flower garden.
The eyes of the desert whale rolled around as if it was searching for the daring human. It finally spotted Viola and all four eyes on its right side were fixed on her. Seeing that, the woman waved.
“Hey, you psycho worm.” She smiled sweetly at it. “Long time no see. It’s been over thirty years since then, hasn’t it? Seeing you is pretty nostalgic.”
Her sugar-coated voice made the monster tremble. The eyes rolled around in fear. Only looking at the girl was enough to realize how dangerous she was.
“Well, well, does that mean you still remember me?” Viola was still smiling. “Then, I don’t think we need to waste our time with an introduction. Let’s recall our memories with our bodies.”
HOOOOOO~~~!!
Dysandwal cried out loudly and struggled to dive back into the sand. Fear crept into the heart of the so-called sixth boss of the game. Only the look from those amber eyes and it was certain that it was the end!
“Ah ha... And you’re still a chickenshit as always, you frickin’ worm!” Viola said. “Viper!”
She called out someone’s name, even though there was no one around there. However, a huge chain soared up from under the sand about three hundred meters away behind Viola. The silver chain was big enough to easily bind Dysandwal.
The silver chain with a knife at the tip spiraled around the desert whale before flicking the end of it and splitting into so many anchors. They plunged into the ground and held the monster in place.
Viola smiled gently.
“Not bad. As expected of ‘the chain of hell’, Viper.”
She chuckled before a voice talked to her.
“This isn’t much. But you have to be fast, Ms. Baron. My Chain Breaker can’t hold a boss this big for long. I don’t even know if it can withstand up to a minute.”
Hearing the man’s voice from the communication channel, Viola smiled at it.
“One minute?” She talked with a high-pitched voice. “Are you kidding? Thirty seconds is enough. You guys can deal with the minions in the sky. I’ll take care of this giant.”
The girl ran to the monster. She called so many kinds of weapons up around her: an axe, a spear, a knife, a bow, a shield, and a scythe. They spun around her as a sign that she had already gone full-option!
“First, allow me to explore your inside like usual, psycho worm.”
Viola said and ran towards the part where the inner skin of the monster could be seen. She jumped up high and grabbed a big silver scythe with a rose pattern on the blade. The small figure kicked herself down at the monster, even without any platform to step on.
Scythe Slash
BOOM!!
6,875,885!
Viola swung the scythe at the worm’s wound. The skin was cut open and the green blood spattered out, soaking her with it. Yet, Viola did not fret. She only smiled satisfyingly and walked into the open wound!
Wisana, who had been watching the whole thing, was in a panic.
“That woman went into the beast!”
He shouted so loudly. He had never seen this kind of crazy fight before.
Again, Wisana only focused on the woman that he forgot to watch out for himself. A swarm of bugs dashed towards him from behind. The ‘impulse’ was activated, making Wisana turn back and was about to counter. But at that moment, rays of light soared from the ground and killed those bugs. Wisana blinked.
“Who was that...?”
The man muttered. He was as confused as Sarquros. There were not only the rays of light, but there were also arrows, bullets, and magic. Both of them could only watch the bugs being killed, bamboozled.
Wisana looked down at the ground and saw hundreds of anonymous players there.
“Who are they?” Sarquros flew over to him.
“I don’t know.” Wisana shook his head. “But it looks like they’re with that woman. They’re here to help.”
He turned to Sarquros and smiled wearily.
“I think we should be alright now. Go help the crew, Samie. I wonder how everyone’s doing, especially May.” Wisana looked at the ship.
“What about you?” Sarquros asked.
“I want to watch that woman more.”
Then, he turned to look at Dysandwal. He wanted to know what the woman would do next after going inside it. Sarquros nodded.
“Please be careful.” She said.
“Mhmm.”
Sarquros quickly flew back to the ship.
BOOM!!!
The sound of an explosion was heard and Wisana jumped. He looked at the source and saw that Dysandwal was split open from the torso as if it were hit by a rocket from the inside. Pieces of its shell scattered around along with its disgusting green blood.
But that was not as surprising as the damage point that sprang up at the same time as the monster’s loud scream.
18,998,632!!
The amber eyes opened widely. The man was speechless. He could not even start to imagine what that woman was doing inside the whale.
“...E-Eighteen million for only one hit?”
