Chapter 570: VS “Dysandwal” Part VI

The bugs were running on the path to the core of Alexander. They passed through the members so easily. Some got stabbed in the torso and some even got acid in their faces, causing the blind status!

A second later, there was no one in the way anymore. They ran through the metal door so easily. It was a circular room with control panels and computers. The golden crystal was in the center of the room, floating above the stand.

The bugs could sense that this was the core of the ship. They slowly walked up to the crystal. One of them tabbed its front leg at the crystal before letting out a high screech as if to tell its friends to “self-destruct and destroy it.”

Then, the rest of them gathered around the crystal.

“I knew that it’d turn out like this. Good that I decided to come here.”

A boy’s voice broke the silence. The bugs turned their eyes at him. There was a brown-haired boy with bandaged arms standing there. He actually had to break the hard splint on his leg before coming here.

Kongkiat called his magic glass balls out. Then, he dashed at one of the bugs and sent it up in the air before punching it again to send it flying to the rest of its friends!

However, they were not dead. Moreover, the boy dropped to the ground. The hand that he used to attack was so numb that he could not feel it anymore.

“Damn it. The broken bone status really is brutal.”

Kongkiat broke into a sweat.

The bugs could also see that their enemy was hurt, and they had to get rid of him now before it was too late. They dashed at him.

He could only make a painful face. Then, he decided to fight back!

Suddenly, a sweet voice cast a spell so loudly. Hundreds of light swords appeared in the room and threw themselves at every bug in the room that their black blood spattered so much. They looked like cacti.

The boy, who was covering his eyes waiting for his end, slowly opened his eyes and checked that he was still alive. When he looked around and saw those cacti, he smiled and slowly dropped to the ground.

The girl screamed. Waree ran into the room and saw Kong on the floor, looking pathetically wounded.

“You... I told you to rest, didn’t I?” Waree sighed and quickly cast a healing spell on the boy’s chest.

Waree chuckled and pinched the boy’s nose.

“Don’t forget to find a good excuse for Angie.”

“...Hehe.” Kongkiat laughed wearily.

However, while Waree was healing him, because she was too careless, Waree did not notice that one of the bugs was still alive. It tried its best to crawl to the crystal. It was close to the crystal now.

It was too late when Waree realized it.

“...Shit. It’s going to self-destruct!”

Waree screeched loudly and raised her hand to order her light sword to finish the job. However, at that moment when the sword started to move, the center of the bug glowed!

The security alarm sounded, and everyone looked at each other, bewildered. Aerin quickly checked the status of the ship and found out that the crystal was damaged. Even though the damage was not much, the systems in the ship were confused!

Maysa gritted her teeth tightly. And it was just like what Aerin said, Alexander started to go down and was about to reach the sand below. The light at the rear was turned off at the same time as Maysa’s hope. Only disaster awaited them.

Warunya reported. The captain gritted her teeth.

She had not finished and everyone had to hold on to their chair to protect themselves from the shaking. Then, everything in the bridge went dark. The sun was gone again. Everyone was in a silent panic. Maysa looked out the window.

The enormous whale was high up in the sky.

It had been waiting for this chance. The bugs were here to create that chance. They could not do anything.

Everyone was going to die.

It seemed like time was slowed when Dysandwal slowly moved down closer to the ship. Maysa could only cover her face because she could not do anything anymore.

However, an explosion sounded right before the monster would crush them. Maysa was surprised that she was still alive. Everyone was. And the ship was intact. What was that noise?

And where was that whale?

Her light grey eyes looked around for the monster and saw it lying on the ground as if it was hit by something so powerful. Its outer shell was completely broken. It was caused by a sword.

“..W-What happened?” Maysa muttered.

The breeze blew past the thin figure that was standing on a sand dune. She was a woman in a robe with half of her face hidden under a mask. Some silver hair of hers was at the side of her face. She was staring at Dysandwal.

She was holding a Claymore sword in her hand. Her cheerful smile appeared on her beautiful face.

“It seems like my friend, Dysandwal, is still as bad as ever. I miss the first time that I hunted it.”

The woman muttered happily before flicking the sword in her hand and walking away.

“The kids are also very good. They held the psycho whale for that long.” She said.

“Yes. It seems like everyone’s okay, too. I sent the dead ones to respawn in Aeneas.”

An AI lady talked. The masked woman smiled at it. She looked up at the man with flaming wings who seemed to be looking her way, too. She let out a scoff.

“What a useless son. You can’t even handle Dysandwal, what can you do?”

“Well, this is as good as his level can take him.” The AI said.

“Weak.” The masked woman said. “I killed Dysandwal when I was his age.”

“Comparing him to a natural genius like you is quite unfair, Ms. Viola.”

The masked woman smirked and sighed.

“Let’s finish everything first, Alice. I’ll warm up by slashing this worm into pieces first.”
