Chapter 545: Surrounded Part I

Chapter 545: Surrounded Part I

“This is the information that I got.”

A gentle voice sounded in the resting room in the Alexander ship, which was still parked on the cliff in the west by the shore. There were so many information windows floating in the air. The man with ruby-red eyes was scrutinizing them.

“Hmm...” Sven muttered while stroking his lips. “I never thought that these people were one of the guild members of the four gods. No wonder why they seem to know that getting rid of the four gods was the first thing that they should do in order to destroy Pride.”

The leader of the Cataral guild concluded from what he had seen. He dragged one of the windows in front of him to read. He stared at the photo of the man named Lucius.

This guy used to be Viola’s right-hand man...

No wonder he was so strong.

He was as good as the four gods?

“What’s wrong?”

Maysa, who was sitting next to Wisana, asked. The man who accidentally drifted into his own world was startled a little and quickly flashed her a smile.

“Nothing.” His reply was brief.

“Is this information useful to you?”

Wisana asked. Sven let out a scoff.

“What’s so funny?” Wisana asked again.

“You.” He smiled back at Wisana “You talk like we’re on the same side here, Vincent.”

Wisana narrowed his eyes. “You said it yourself that we’re on the same boat.”

“I said that, yes.” Sven shrugged. “But this and that is different, you know?”

Wisana and Maysa gave Sven a stare.

“Don’t forget that we’re still at war. It’s true that we’re targeted by the same enemy, but you have to remember that we’re still on the opposite side. There’ll only be one winner in a war.”

It was Wisana’s turn to laugh.

“You really think the war will still go on in this state, Sven?”

“Why? The GMs don’t seem to interfere or stop it. That means the war will still go on no matter what. And it’s according to the enemy’s plan, too.”

Hearing that, Wisana frowned tightly and glanced at Maysa. She nodded in agreement with Sven.

“You don’t seem to be able to see through it, Vincent. It looks like your chief of staff is better than you when it comes to using brains.”

Wisana could only scratch the back of his neck awkwardly. He did not know how to rebut that sarcasm since it was actually true! Even so, the one who seemed to be troubled by it was the girl next to him!

“Don’t worry.” Maysa started. “He may not be good with using his brain, but I’m sure he’s second to none in combat. From the look of it, I do think that my leader is even more skilled than you, god.”

Her words brought a smile to Sven’s face.

Wisana was nearly in tears because of that. He wanted to thank her by giving her a big kiss on the cheek, but he needed to remain calm and keep cool.

“Just let it go, guys.” Wisana tried to restrain himself. “So, what do you think about this?”

Sven smirked. He glanced at each floating window and nodded.

“It’s enough.” He sighed. “Actually, it’s even more than enough.”

He reached out for every window and crumbled them all together into a ball before opening his own window and throwing the ball in there. Then, he started to type something in very quickly.

“At least we can now confirm their skills and levels. They’re real.” Sven opened each window that contained each person’s information back up. “Lucius and Scarlet. These two were surely invincible. The information states that both of them are in a masterclass.”

“Masterclass?” Wisana tilted his head.

“The highest class.” Maysa was the one who answered. “The fourth class is called masterclass. It’s a profession that requires you to reach level 300. And before you get it, you also need to do a super brutal quest first. People in this class are all very good and extremely patient.”

“They’re at the top,” Sven added. “According to the legend that I heard, Viola was the first player that brought herself to the masterclass. And there were Winter, Bera, and Carnival respectively. When people heard that the four gods were already there, they didn’t seem to care who the next ones would be anymore. That’s why we don’t really know much about the others in the class, even though there have been only twenty-six people.”

Wisana frowned.

“That’s so few.” He said.

“Yeah. As you know, the higher the level, the harder to gain one. Especially when you reach level 200 or more, it’ll be like you’re climbing a cliff bare-handed.” Sven smiled. “Believe me, these people are monsters.”

He grabbed six windows of those mysterious players out one by one.

“And there’s a chance that another four people other than Lucius and Scarlet are also in a masterclass.”

“Why do you think so?” Maysa asked. “Two out of four of those, wasn’t it you who defeated them? That Allen and Nero guy? If they’re really from that class, you wouldn’t have been breathing until now.”

“Yes.” Sven nodded. “But I really felt that they only brought out a small part of their power. If not, maybe half of it must have been sealed or something.”

“That’s crazy! How’s that even possible?” Maysa frowned.

“It is. I think Vincent is familiar with how nasty the system can be.”

Sven looked at him and he nodded right away. It reminded Maysa of the hunters that her boyfriend fought with half a year ago.

They also had this program that they used to modify the game’s system so cleanly.

“And why would they seal their own power?” Wisana asked with a worried face.

“Did you forget that they’re trying to infiltrate the William Star guild?”

Hearing that, Wisana was enlightened. Of course, if six masterclass players were present at the same time, it would be suspicious.

“The problem is... are there really only six of them?” Maysa stated her opinion.

“That’s the point.” Sven agreed. “Only six masterclass players would still be fine for us to take down, but if there’re more... That’d be a big problem.”

Suddenly, Wisana laughed at what Sven just said. Sven’s ruby-red eyes turned to him right away.

“What’s so funny?” He asked.

“You.” He tilted his head mockingly. “You talk like we’re on the same side.”

Sven halted a little before glancing at Maysa. She shrugged as if to say, “He’s like that.” Sven chuckled.

He still had the mood to bite the other back...

“Well, the result will still be the same, be it six or ten people.”

Wisana did not seem to be bothered. He clenched his fist and punched the air in front of him, causing Sven to take a step back.

“I’ll destroy them, no matter what.”

Hearing that, Sven sneered.

“Must be nice to be you. So optimistic.”

“Be optimistic and everything will be fine.” Wisana beamed back.

“So innocent.”

“That’s my advantage, you know?”

Sven shook his head slowly before grabbing one of the floating windows and breaking it into two.

“Now that we know how good they are...” Sven quickly jumped back to the topic. “What interests me is the reason why they want to destroy Pride. If we can figure this out, it should be easier to manage.”
