“Did you guys have a fight? It’s like she is trying to avoid you.”
“What fight?” Wisana sighed. “I was told that she’s a little broken here and there from the last fight. That’s why she can’t come out. She just needs time to recover, that’s all.”
“That’s good, then.” Maysa nodded.
“Should we start? I want to go home for some rest.”
“Mhmm.”
Wisana nodded at both of them, and they split up for the information they needed right away. The two girls left so quickly, while the man was still wondering what to do. He was clearly not used to the library.
“I should start with the search.”
He took out his phone. The screen still showed his status and ID.
“Jinnie,” Wisana called.
“Yes, master.”
“It’s such a relief to hear you like this.” He smiled delightfully. “Could you please help me search for the information about the four gods?”
“Please wait a moment.”
Jinnie’s voice was also cheery as if she was happy to be able to work for Wisana, even though it was in the real world.
“Information found. There’re 398 books that contain the information about the four gods.”
“Yikes... That’s a lot.”
Wisana could only scratch his head.
“Can you reduce it to only the first generation of the four gods?”
“Please wait a moment.” Jinnie went quiet for some time. “I’ve already taken out the excess. There’re 196 books that contain the information about the first generation of the four gods.”
“Eeee~~!” The listener drawled in a high pitch. “Still too many.”
He scratched his head again while thinking.
“Then... only the ones about Viola, one of the four gods.”
“Please wait a moment. The search is complete. There’re 87 books that contain the information about Viola of the four gods.”
“Agh... Almost half of those are yours? Why are you so famous?”
Wisana screamed loudly, forgetting that he was in a library. There were 2-3 people sitting there and they turned to look at him with a malicious look!
“Sorry. I’m sorryyy.” The man could only lower his head for everyone in the vicinity. “Hey, Jinnie, I want only the information about Viola and the people who are involved with her. Can you just reduce the result to one?”
“Please wait a moment. The result has been reduced to one. The name of the book is ‘The History of Dominion Guild by Mrs. Wichuda Tayparak.”
Hearing that, Wisana beamed from ear to ear. Jinnie could always help him with anything.
A second later, there was an image of the book popping up on his phone screen.
“Would you like me to lead you to the book?”
“Yes, please.”
Then, the detailed GPS that led to the book appeared. Wisana was actually amazed by what Pride Online could do. Even in a library, it could pinpoint everything, including cabinets, tables, chairs, and stairs.
Did they have to update the system every time they rearranged each room?!
Not so long after that, Wisana reached zone twenty-four, where there were only a few people. The sign above read ‘Dominion’. Wisana looked around him in awe and saw that there were eight-story bookshelves standing next to each other. He could not even bring himself to smile.
“Are these all dedicated to Dominion only?”
It triggered him a little to think about it. He talked to Jinnie again.
“Jinnie, make a record of this result and search for books on Nemesis guild for me.”
He was quite mad. Jinnie agreed to do it with her sweetest voice that almost sounded like laughter.
“Understood. Please wait a moment. Got it.”
“So fast!” The man was startled.
“There’re 18 books about the Nemesis guild.”
Wisana drooped down. This was a huge gap between the legendary and a baby like him. Only Viola’s biography counted over eighty books. His whole guild did not even make it half of that.
What a downer.
“Would you like me to search further?” Jinnie asked.
“That’s enough. The more, the wearier. Lead me to Viola, please.”
Wisana’s voice was exhausted. The GPS continued to lead him to his designated area. He followed the arrow to the shelf in front of him. Once he was close to it, the image of the very same shelf was enlarged. The location of the book was shown to him by the blinking of the book on the sixth story, the third from the left.
Wisana looked for the book that was shown to him in the GPS and took it out of the shelf. The golden text on the cover read ‘The History of Dominion Guild’.
“Thank you, Jinnie. Be on standby, okay?”
“Yes.”
Wisana took the book with him and sat at one of the desks in that area. The hardcover book was so thick that it could knock a dog out for months. After he sat on the brown padded chair, he opened the book. What amazed him was the inside of the book. They were not papers like he expected them to be.
The inside was an empty space big enough to put a tablet in. There was a black tablet in there.
“I wonder if Pride is too hi-tech, or if it’s me who’s low-tech...?”
He muttered to himself before pressing the turn-on button on the tablet in his hands.
“What is it now?”
Wisana raised his eyebrows up high when he saw that the screen did not show the cover of the book as he wanted. It was an easy-looking infographic that told him to connect the USB cable to the cell phone before use.
Once he did what he was told to do, an exciting song sounded so loud that he was startled. Of course, the others in the area also heard it and turned to him again. He had to apologize for the second time before plugging his earphones in.
“Jinnie, you should have told me that there’ll be a sound!” Wisana scolded the AI.
“I’m very sorry. I thought master knew that already.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”
He, then, put the earphones in his ears.
“Welcome to the history of the greatest guild of all time, the Dominion. My name is Wichuda and I’ll be leading you through the whole story of this greatness.”
Wisana nodded at the hoarse voice of a woman. Suddenly, the e-reader screen changed into an image that looked like the title page of a DVD where he could choose what he wanted to do.
“Choose what you like to know first.”

Wisana could only sigh.
“I’ll choose from the tables then.”
“Yes, master.” Jinnie accepted the order.
In the blink of an eye, tens of topics popped up on the screen and prompted Wisana to shake his head wearily. He knew that there would be this many since there was more than 8GB worth of information here.
The main topics were The Establishment, Guild Members, Legends, Why ‘Dominion’?, Viola and The Legend of One Against Thousands, Viola The Undefeated, Viola VS Winter, and From Now Until Forever.
The more he looked at it, the more the reader got confused. He never liked reading in the first place. This information was so overwhelming to him. Damn it! Why did Sven not come here himself?!
