Chapter 532: Prisoner of War Part V

Chapter 532: Prisoner of War Part V

“How are you, Kong?!”

Suddenly, the newcomer threw herself in Kongkiat’s hug, almost knocking the boy out of balance.

Those ruby-red eyes looked up at him. And with their heights that were not that different, Kongkiat did not have to bend his head that much to look back at her. He saw her tiny lips spreading out in a wide smile that was rarely seen, and the boy could not help but smile as well.

“I’m totally fine, Angie. I’m safe, everyone, too.”

“You’re sure?!”

The little mage asked with a concerned look on her face. She reached up to examine the taller one thoroughly. And seeing that, Warunya cracked into an amused laugh.

“Angie was so worried when she knew that you were off for a mission with Tunwa, you know. She probably was afraid that you would be gone for months like before.”

“Well,”

Angela turned to make a high-pitched tone at Warunya, making the one looking at her adore her even more.

“I’m not going anywhere now. I’m going to stick with Nemesis for a long time from now on. You don’t have to be worried about that, Angie.”

“Really?!”

Angie turned to him and asked for assurance. And seeing that, the boy nodded in response, smiling from ear to ear.

It probably looked strange for everyone to see Angie being like an innocent girl when she was with Kongkiat. But to consider that they were about the same age, and Kongkiat had been approved of as one of the politest gentlemen, there was no wonder why Angela liked hanging around him so much.

“Hey, can you all have a chitchat later? We have to get on the ship.”

Suddenly, a deep voice sounded from behind Kongkiat who was standing in the way.

The boy paused a little, before quickly apologizing and moving aside. And there she was, the tall woman with black hair let down her torso as it was soaked because of the rain. Those lavender-purple eyes were looking forward as if she did not want to catch eyes with anyone at all. She only took a few seconds to walk past Warunya and the others and disappeared from their sight.

Nuchjaree remembered that she was the one who attacked Sven when they invaded the hotel room to get her back.

But she did not recall if she had seen this woman before at all. Since when did the Nemesis guild have this new member with such a high-ranking skill?

“Orn, who’s that?”

Nuchjaree asked. Her eyes were still staring at the woman’s back curiously.

But after hearing the question and seeing Nuchjaree’s serious face, Warunya held her hand up to cover her mouth.

“You’ll know soon enough. I assure you that she’s someone you’re already familiar with.”

“Huh?”

Nuchjaree could only raise her brows in curiosity. But before the girls could chat any further, a familiar-looking man walked on the ship with a serious face. His emerald, green eyes were not even looking at Nuchjaree. He was looking behind him at the noise of some small machines running in the background.

Tunwa then turned to glance at Warunya and Nuchjaree for a second before he walked past them. He placed his hand on Kongkiat’s shoulder familiarly, before waving to call for something inside.

“Hurry up, before this guy’s awake and starts to complain. It’s annoying.”

Tunwa shouted. And that was when there was a machine in the shape of a ball locking each hand and foot of this unconscious man. Sven’s eyes shut close. On his chest, there was a spear cut that the black-haired woman did to him and there was a dark bruise from Fire Blast on his torso.

“My goodness, you really did catch him?” Warunya asked with a bemused face.

“Yeah, he seemed like he was already hurt, so it wasn’t hard to take him down. But he’s stupid for going to Albasta town that has a connection with us. The hotel’s staff helped a lot. And we need to thank this kid, though. That blasting punch thing is satisfyingly strong. One hit and he was out.”

Tunwa ruffled Kongkiat’s hair with a satisfied smile on his face, while the boy was looking down and winked at Angela with a grin.

“There, you’re unbelievable.” Warunya shook her head wearily but smiled widely at him finally.

However, there was only Nuchjaree who was unable to speak, while she was looking at unconscious Sven who was pegged and floating still in the air less than a few inches away from her.

“But it’s good like this. Isn’t it?” Tunwa said. “Not only that we could save Nuch, but also got this guy as our captive as well. I assure you that it’s now time for us to get back at the Cataral guild.”

“Yes, it’s good that your mission is completed. But don’t forget that you did it all arbitrarily, so your boss will definitely yell at you.”

Warunya said so straightforwardly, and Tunwa just shrugged in response like he was not bothered by that.

“I just did my job. I’m sure Na won’t be mad.” Tunwa said.

“Of course, I am.”

Another familiar voice rang up. Even though his face still looked unwell, leader Vincent had enough strength to get out of bed now. The tall one was back in his usual uniform again. And behind him, there was Nemesis’s chief of staff walking closely with her face frowning. Those light grey eyes were staring at Tunwa threateningly, making the guilty one crack out a dry laugh.

The amber eyes glanced at Tunwa, before turning to Sven, who was floating above the floor, and finally, they met with Nuchjaree’s who was smiling faintly at him. Wisana sighed softly and finally curled up a smile. He decided to walk to her, reaching his hand out to rock his friend’s head to left and right softly.

“You finally found your way back home?” He greeted her with a smile. “Don’t you know that you’ve been making people worried, hm, smartass?”

“Yeah, sorry about that.”

Nuchjaree smiled at him, but it was totally wry. Wisana then started to realize that his friend had gone through a lot as well.

Then Wisana’s eyes were back on Tunwa again.

“What the hell were you thinking to rush out for Nuch like that? And you even dragged Shin and Kong along, too. What if something went wrong?”

“Come on, dude, I’m sorry about that. But everything turned out fine, didn’t it?”

Tunwa was still smiling cheekily. And seeing that, Wisana huffed out a sigh in weary.

“Damn.” Wisana sighed. “I’ll give you a huge load of insults later, jerk.”

“Yeah, sure.” Tunwa shrugged again like he could not be careless.

Wisana glanced at Sven. He examined him briefly and sighed when he saw wounds and bruises all over his body. The first assumption that came to mind was that Tunwa totally did not drag him here that willingly.

“And about this guy, I think you’ve just made a big problem, Tun.” He turned to look at his best friend with a serious face.

“Why is that?”

“Because this is on the top of the list of things you shouldn’t be doing, dumbass.” Wisana snapped at him in a harsh voice.

“How is capturing an enemy a wrong thing to do? We’re at war, bro.” Tunwa raised his brows.

“Well, no, it’s not wrong, Tun,” Maysa said. “If that person isn’t the leader of the Cataral guild, the guild that belongs to one of the four gods, that’s best known for hunting their enemies down. And did you consider how badly we’d be chased down by that entire guild before you took their leader like this?”

“But we have this guy as our hostage. What can they possibly do to us?”
