Chapter 531: Prisoner of War Part IV

Chapter 531: Prisoner of War Part IV

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

But suddenly, the knock on the door interrupted them, making the two pause at the same time. Sven licked his lips, then looked at the door with a sigh of disappointment.

Meanwhile, Nuchjaree was blushing, hanging her face low as she reached up to touch her lips.

“Who could possibly be knocking on the door right now?”

Sven asked in an annoyed voice. He narrowed his eyes at the door room and the clock hung on the wall in another corner and saw that its hands were at 2:15. And he knew instantly that this was not the time for anyone to come visit them surely.

“The enemies?” He whispered.

“No, they’re not,” Nuchjaree said, before standing up finally. “Before you woke up, I called to order some room service. We both haven’t had dinner yet, so I ordered some for you. I saw that they have some curse-dispelling menus as well.”

“...”

Sven was speechless. Then he just rolled his eyes annoyedly but finally nodded in response.

Right now, it was just awkward to look at the other’s face. So, Nuchjaree walked to answer the door with her small hand on her lips all the way there.

“Just to be sure, you should check if they’re really room service.”

Sven reminded her, and Nuchjaree nodded in agreement, then she pressed a button by the door to open a digital screen up on the door. And what was shown on it was a long, black-haired woman in a maid costume. She had a cart with their meal on it and a smiley face.

“See? That’s really the room service. You’re being paranoid.”

Sven leaned out to get the sight of the woman outside the door, too. And when he saw that she was some random girl, he let out a soft sigh, before nodding to agree with her that she was not the enemy.

So, Nuchjaree opened the door, revealing the long-haired maid standing by her food cart.

“Room service, Miss.” The woman said in a sweet voice.

“Hi, come on in.”

Nuchjaree said smilingly, before getting out of the way for the staff to push the cart inside. The smell of the food was caught by Sven’s nose, and he believed right away that the woman really was from the hotel’s service.

The staff stopped her cart in the middle of the room. The cart was about waist high, covered with a white spread sheet totally, looking like a normal food cart in every hotel. Even the woman would look like a normal hotel staff as well.

If Sven did not catch her eyes first...

Those lavender purple eyes that looked sharp and the face that was totally emotionless,

In a split second after they saw the look in the other’s eyes, both Sven and that staff drew their weapon out at the same time. Sven decided to summon a pistol out, while the staff brought out a large spear!

“Sven!!” Nuchjaree shouted aloud.

THUD!!

A moment later, someone got out from under the cart. He was a young man in a grey coat that had a large covering most of his face.

“There are two of you?!” Sven cursed.

BANG!!

The sound of a gunshot was heard echoing in the room. However, the bullet missed its target when the staff in a maid costume used her spear to push it out of her direction easily. Sven’s eyes widened, but he was still conscious enough to make his necklace with a goddess spreading her wings glow brightly.

CHUNK!!

128,778!

However, Sven could not even summon the 7 Day’s out, because the spear of this woman slashed a long cut on his chest!

“I’m totally not letting you summon those warriors out, Sven.”

The pain caused to Sven was so much that he could not even speak. His eyes looked in another direction and saw that the kid in the dull coat rushed straight at him as well!

It took a second for the small kid to approach him successfully before he held his hand out and placed it on Sven right away.

The 3rd Fist; Magic Pressing

Fire Blast!

357,986!!

The large damage points popped up strongly as Sven’s back was blasted up with that deadly palm of the boy in the hooded coat. His ruby-red eyes rolled back up as he was knocked out of his consciousness right away!

And that was all. The man fell on the floor like a puppet with broken strings.

“Sven!!”

Nuchjaree shouted his name. She audibly ground her teeth, before summoning her bow out quickly.

“Damn you!!”

She yelled as she pulled an arrow on the bow, getting ready to fire at any time. And that made the maid girl and the boy in the hood flinch, especially the small one who yelled out in panic.

“WUHH! Don’t shoot, Nuch. It’s me!!”

“Stop it, Nuch!”

Another voice rang right by her ear as a rough hand of someone grabbed her fist to stop her from shooting the arrow out in time. After that, her eyes turned to the one who just called her “Nuch”, then she felt familiar with the boy right away.

The boy with short brown hair and those pretty onyx black eyes.

“Kong?” Nuchjaree called his name with a surprised face.

“Yeah, it’s me. That was close.” The boy blew out a sigh of relief.

After that, Nuchjaree looked at the other one who stopped her hand right before she attacked her friends. And then she got even more confused because the one standing by her side was a man with green eyes and short messy caramel hair.

“Tun?!”

----------------

The rain was still pouring. The sky above looked frantic. The street in Albasta was quiet as the rain was falling on them. And then there was this person standing still by the street. She had her thin body covered entirely from head to toe in her long coat.

Her pink lips were the only things that could be seen while the rest of her was under that coat. She curled up a satisfied smile, while she was looking at the window of a hotel in Albasta. When she saw shadows moving in that room, she cracked into a quiet laugh in her throat.

“Positive. Sven has been captured by the Nemesis, just as planned.”

She said, before pushing her coat back harshly, splashing out the pouring rain. And within the blink of an eye, she had now disappeared from Albasta without any trace to be found.

“Nuch!!”

The shout of happiness was heard as a pretty girl rushed to hug her friend whom she had not seen in such a long while. Warunya cupped her best friend’s face in her hand, while she was looking at the one in front of her thoroughly.

“You’re okay?” She asked with a worried face.

“Yeah, I’m okay.”

Nuchjaree said with a smile as she pulled herself away. And when she saw Warunya’s face, she sighed slightly.

“I’m so glad you’re safe. You didn’t lose any levels because of the rules of war prisoners, did you?” Warunya asked.

“No.”

“They didn’t do something weird to you, right?”

“No, not at all.”

Seeing Nuchjaree shaking her head with a smile on her face, Warunya felt relieved and then pulled her into her hug again.

That was the same time as Kongkiat walked through the Alexander ship’s entrance. He took his wet hood off, letting it soak the floor all over.

“You’re alright, Kong?” Warunya hurriedly pulled away from Nuchjaree to ask the newcomer.

“Yes, I am. No one’s hurt, Miss. Don’t worry.”

Kongkiat replied, eyes glancing over his shoulder to the back like he was expecting the others to join them, but those people had not gotten on the ship when the sound of small steps rushed toward him from inside the ship. Everyone looked in that direction, and then Warunya curled up a smile.

“But well, this one’s been worrying about you too much to be told not to.”

“I suppose you’re right.” Kongkiat reached up to scratch the back of his neck.

“How are you, Kong?!”
