Chapter 511: Versus “Gaia” and “Poseidon” (End) Part I

“Father, Father!”

The small voice shouted out of worry. The little one was trying to push the bigger body of her father up on the water as much as she could. Mona Lisa had to kick her feet to keep herself floating until her father became conscious again.

But Wisana remained still. Right now, half his face was sunk in the sea. His body was beaten but not enough to kill him. That was probably because Mona Lisa was holding him up as she kept swimming to find something to hang on to. But the fact was, the father and daughter were washed away to the middle of the sea.

And Mona Lisa definitely did not have enough strength to carry her father and fly back to Alexander!

“Come on, Father. Wake up! I can’t do this anymore.”

The little girl complained with a pouting face as she tried her best to help her father float in the sea.

They were sent excessively far from the battle, in a distance where Alexander ship and even Gaia were like small dots in their sight.

It was unbelievable that Wisana survived the extreme attack of the mysterious lady. The latest hit should have covered to take all the HP he had left if Wisana had not cast a defense skill in the blink of an eye.

Dummy Death

*An ability on a mage of symbol that gave up 10% of the user’s EXP balance (the skill would not be usable, if there was not enough EXP.) to summon a shield that could defend against any type of enemy’s attack. Also, the user would lose more of their EXP, according to the damage points done by the enemy. After that, the skill would reduce the user’s HP to 1 point (, which made the user survive.)

That was why this troublesome man was passing out right here. The attack he took was so extreme that it got Wisana entirely paralyzed, unconscious, and 100% out of the condition to fight.

He only had a health point left and four types of negative status.

“Father, wake up. We need to get back to save Mother. I don’t know what’s happening to her right now. You can’t just sleep here.”

Mona Lisa said while she was slapping Wisana’s face softly.

Her eyes started to be wet with tears. The girl had never been in a losing condition before. She had never had to struggle, nor seen her father getting beaten up like this!

“Father, if even you, who is the leader of everyone, are still backed out like this, then what else can they do about this? Wake up now, Father!!!”

Mona Lisa shouted out of frustration.

However, there was still no reply from her father. How he was staying so quietly made her lose it with mouth frowning. Mona Lisa tried to hold back her tears as best as she could. She had decided that even though her father was not waking up now, she would be the one who would swim and take him back to Alexander herself!

“Hang in there, Father. I’m going to save you!”

She spoke confidently and was determined to be the one who dragged the man back to the ship. But in the moment when she pulled his arm up around her neck, Wisana’s rough hands reached up.

Those large hands moved closer to cup Mona Lisa’s cheeks gently.

“Father?” She yelled. “Are you awake?”

“...K”

Wisana did not answer. He just muttered something under his breath, making the younger one, who was trying to kick her feet to support the bigger one, lean closer.

“What is it, Father?”

“G ...give ...m ...me a kiss.”

“Eh?” His daughter raised her brows confusedly.

Being caught by surprise, the taller one managed to tilt the girl’s head up, before pressing a kiss on her little lips softly.

The younger one widened her eyes in shock. But before she realized it, everything around her started glowing brightly, covering all over the area.

“KYAAAA!!”

The scream of agony echoed in his mind. Right now, Sander was grinding his teeth, glancing at the short-haired woman with a cold face on the screen in front of him. She was extracting the data of the Excalibur sword, causing visible static flashes all over the area.

“This ended sadly.”

Aaron spoke up with a satisfied face. He purposedly glanced at Sander who was clenching his jaws as he was speechless.

“It seems like I set my expectations about Vincent too high, just because that boy is Viola’s son. With these skills, he will never be able to carry the fate you all want him to, Sander.” Aaron paused for a moment for the other to catch eye with him. “...Never.”

“The fate he has to carry, huh?”

Sander whispered, before making a snorting sound. And he kept his head down as if he did not care to look the other in the eyes as they spoke at all.

“Just let me warn you about something, Sander,” Aaron said. “No matter how hard you try and struggle, it will be all useless. We have been moving again now, and what you do will just go to waste...”

He paused for a moment, then he frowned his brows tightly.

“Let me warm you as a friend who grew up with you.” Aaron let out a long sigh. “Leave the Nameless and Pride. You and Viola, too. Both of you have been tired of this damn mess enough. Get out of this world for good. ...I’m begging you.”

The listener froze for a moment. He was still hanging his head low, while Aaron was having a more serious face.

“Forget about the emperor who rules everything and about the resentment we have between us. Let it all over right here. Let us handle the rest. I promise you that my people will put an end to it.”

“...What do you mean?”

Sander forced his voice out to ask.

“Well, sooner or later, you will know this anyway, so.” Aaron sighed. “We’re going to destroy Pride system.”

“..!!”

The owner of those rust-colored eyes looked up at the other with a shocked expression. He had never thought that Aaron would say something like this.

“What do you mean destroy Pride system? Do you even understand what you’re doing?” Sander spoke quickly. “Do you know what will happen to all of you if the Pride system gets destroyed? The evolution that has been accumulated and built in this world will get cut off totally. The Nameless will certainly be paralyzed. But importantly, your existence will get deleted from this world, including your father’s.”

Aaron got silent for a moment before he let out a short sigh.

“We’ve already moved on from all of the things you said, Sander.” He said smilingly. “It’s gone too far to fix anything. Father’s plan, the organization’s plan, everything has been chaotically tangled up together that it’s made this world twisted for far too much now. You’ve never noticed that at all, Sander?”

“...” The man could not say a word.

“The chaos of the world’s population, economic issues, political issues, the problem about resources and population, it’s all started to get messed up lately, causing so many problems. Above all, the evolution of technology’s been concerningly slowing down. If we let things happen this way, the world will come to an end someday.”

“...That!” Sander started, then clenching his jaws. “...It’s all because of you, isn’t it? Things wouldn’t have become this messy if there wasn’t that damn plan of Frazier. If Winter lived right now, he would have ruled this world as a king without any problem!!”
