Chapter 482: Coming Home, Disaster Part IV
Chapter 482: Coming Home, Disaster Part IV
“WI-SA-NA!!!”
And it was followed by a slow shout that made the owner of the name jump. Then he looked back and saw a slim figure of someone running toward him fast. Moreover, she was coming with a large, folded paper fan, too!
SMACK!!
Right after that, Wisana toppled as the loud, clear voice of two solid objects collided. The Nemesis members around all jumped, except for Mek and the master and the disciple from the magic warrior class who saw that this kind of thing was coming in the first place.
“Babe, why’d you hit me?!”
Wisana yelled, rubbing his head in pain. And yeah, even though it was just a paper fan that smacked on his head, it still hurt like hell when he got hit in full swing like that!
“This still isn’t enough for what you did, Wisana!”
The newcomer shouted at the top of her lungs. She pointed the paper fan to the other’s face. Those light grey eyes were staring at him threateningly. And of course, Wisana put his hands in the air in surrender right away.
Samie was shocked as well that some girl launched herself out of nowhere all of a sudden to smack her love’s head toppled like that. She thought about stopping her, too, but her love had stated it clear not to cling to him. So, she stood in her place.
“How dared you, Wisana? How dared you?!!”
The girl, who had her hair tied in a bun, yelled aloud. Her slender hand yanked him by his shirt collar so tightly that he could barely breathe.
“How dared you sneak out without telling me anything like this?!”
Maysa snapped, while the one who was getting yelled at was trying so hard to avoid her eyes.
“Well, can it still be called sneaking out, if I told you before I left?”
The one who was threatened with punishment did not seem to feel guilty at all. In other words, he was using the tactic, “Keep things light and funny.” to release stress. However, this joke just made everyone around let out a ‘Woah.” sensation in unison.
“You’re not funny!” Maysa yelled.
“Well, I was just out for a stroll. It was boring staying on the ship all day.”
“T ...that’s right, Captain. I think we should all relax...”
“Huh?!”
Mek tried to help, but he was told to shut his mouth by the deadly stare sent directly to the chief of the item production unit. And he swore that he saw her eyes flashing threateningly!
“Oi, let’s get back to work now, you guys. What are you crowding around here for? It’s none of our business now. Go.”
So, he pretended to scold his guildmates to avoid those eyes instead. And the guys seemed like they knew that, that was why they all split up to act like they were busy with work again.
“Hey, guys, don’t go...”
Meanwhile, Wisana was trying to wave them back to save him.
“Stop it, Mister Wisana.” Maysa snapped. “What were you thinking, sneaking out by yourself like that? If you don’t worry about yourself, then please worry about all of us. What if someone saw you and found out that we’re hiding here?”
“No one would know that because I disguised myself as a woman so slick. Even these two couldn’t recognize me.”
Wisana tried to find his backup, but Maysa turned to stare at Sander and Kongkiat as if she was telling them with her eyes a clear statement saying, “Stay out of this!”
“That’s not a good excuse!” Maysa scolded. “Your disguise might be good, but if someone recognized you, then everything was ruined. Plus, what if enemies attacked us while you were away? What were we supposed to do? Why wouldn’t you think about it more thoroughly?”
And for this reason, Wisana huffed out a tired sigh.
“...Sorry.”
“Just think carefully before you act next time,” Maysa said, cupping the other one’s face in her hands, while he was looking her in the eyes. “You’re not just a common player anymore now. There’re hundreds of people relying on you. And if you don’t care about them, at least care about me.”
“I do care about you, May.”
Wisana quickly said, reaching up to hold her hands.
“If you really do, then please, could you stop pissing me off? Stop making me worried about you for once.”
“...Well.”
The one who got scolded still made a pouting face to get away with this.
Seeing that, Maysa sighed out with an audible ‘HRRR,’ shaking her head wearily.
“Don’t give me that look. Those hungry puppy’s eyes don’t work on me anymore. I’m immune now!”
“Come on, don’t frown, gorgeous.”
He said, leaning closer for a hug. But Maysa knew that, so she shook him off right away.
“Don’t be slicked. You don’t have any right to touch me after what you did.”
“Babe, we haven’t seen each other for days, can I get a hug please?”
“No!!”
The situation seemed to be back to normal again quickly because Maysa had released everything out in the first hit already. Also, she looked relieved after Wisana came home safely, and then she stopped being mad at him instantly. It could be said that the anger she had been holding on to for the last three days was completely gone once Wisana gave her this one delighted smile.
So, one case was closed.
Kongkiat and Sander, who were watching them from afar, thought then glanced at each other knowingly.
Wisana should never forget.
There was still another case opening!
“Na, who’s this woman?”
The disaster started poking at Wisana’s shoulder when Maysa’s eyes caught this pretty girl with red, ruby eyes standing behind her boyfriend.
“Huh, er, ...she is,”
Wisana stuttered. He slowly, stiffly turned back to look at Samie like his neck had not been greased for years.
“Um, she’s our new guild member.”
After getting the reply, Maysa made a curious face.
“A new member?” She repeated in a high-pitched voice. “A friend of yours? Hello. My name is Maysa. I’d like to welcome you as our new member. And you are?”
Maysa asked without overthinking it. She turned to smile politely at her. And after seeing her bright smile, the pretty dragon could not help but smile back at her unintentionally.
“Well, she is...”
“Hello, you’re definitely my sister.”
Finally, the disaster held on to Wisana’s neck closely when Samie greeted Maysa back with a smile.
“Sister?” Maysa arched her eyebrows.
“Nice to meet you, Sister.” Samie bowed to her humbly. “My name is Sarquros, but you can call me Samie as well. And you misunderstood us when you said that I was his friend. Actually, I am his “bond”.”
“Samie! I told you not to speak...” Wisana yelled nervously.
“His bond?” Meanwhile, Maysa narrowed her eyes, not catching.
“Correct. Eh, in dragon terms, we will call it mate, but in human terms, I think it’s called wife. That’s right, I’m his wife!”
Samie said with an innocent smile.
Meanwhile, the listener’s brows twitched, as she pointed back and forth between Wisana and “his wife” Samie.
“This is messed up. I couldn’t stop it now.” The messed-up one smacked his own forehead harshly. “Samie, I told you not to speak, then why did you say something like that?!!”
“You told me not to speak, but you didn’t tell me not to answer Sister’s questions. Also, it would be very rude to ignore her welcome.”
He felt like he was going crazy!!
Before being polite, how about you mind about saving my head from falling off?!
RUMBLEEE!!
And without saying anything more, the ground suddenly quaked violently. Wisana sensed some Cosmo-level (?) energy blasting up behind him. Those amber eyes looked back at it and saw his beloved girlfriend bursting out energy in a pitched-black aura!
“...M ...M ...May Bae, please listen to me. It’s not what you think it is.”
“It isn’t though?” Maysa gave him the sweetest smile, even though she was radiating this threatening energy. “What about the part where she said she’s your, eh? What? Bond? Is this part what I think it is?”
She asked, poking her finger in her cheek, looking all cute.
However, the one who was questioned with that cute face started dripping sweat.
“Er, ...yes, it is. But no, it’s still not what you think.”
“It’s fine, Sweetheart. I understand.”
Maysa smiled brightly as she reached to cup his face in her hands again.
“Seems like we have a lot to talk about, Babe,” Maysa said, tilting her head to the side adorably. “And of course, we need to do that in private, because there might be some R scene showing up.”
“I’m getting rate R?!” Wisana yelled aloud.
“Yes. Come on, Love. Let’s talk on the ship.”
“W ...w ...wait, May, you got me all wrong. Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch.” He did not finish his sentence, because his ear got pulled harshly, making him quickly move to her hand helplessly. Because if he did not, his ear would definitely fall off for sure.
“Master, Kong, help me. Hey! Help!!”
He was trying to cry for help, but no one batted an eye.
Meanwhile, the one who dropped the bomb raised her eyebrows confusedly. Samie gestured like she was about to follow Wisana in, but Sander held her shoulder back first.
“I don’t think you should go after him now. It’s hard for your Love to make it out alive already.”
“But...” Samie tried to argue.
“Believe me, Miss Samie. You’ll add more punishment for him.”
Listening to them, Samie did not say anything more.
Sander glanced at Wisana who was getting dragged on the warship before him and he cracked into a laugh. He turned around to look at his other favorite disciple.
“Hey, Kong, hurry up now.” He said in a delighted voice.
“To stop May?”
“To get popcorn. Quick. The crime movie is about to start.”
“Master!”
