Chapter 480: Coming Home, Disaster Part II
Chapter 480: Coming Home, Disaster Part II
“You asked me when you did it, didn’t you? It was back then. I still have the scar. I can show you if you don’t believe me.”
She said, then pushed her cloak off and looked like she really was going to pull her dress skirt up.
It troubled Wisana to lock her arms down urgently.
“Okay, okay, I believe you now. You don’t have to show me.” He said in a shaking voice. “I think you better not say anything more, especially not when other people are around.”
“...”
Samie was speechless, or maybe she was just shy again when Wisana’s large hands held her wrists gently.
“Oi! Why did you stop her, kid? I still wanna hear it. It’s fun!”
Sander shouted from the front, making his two disciples give him a judging look.
“Don’t mind that. It’s just some crazy bird’s sound.” Wisana forced a smile at her. “Look, Samie, I have to tell you that I don’t dislike you or anything. But to be honest, we don’t have anything to do with each other. Yes, we have the same daughter, but how do I put this? Well, I don’t love you like that.”
Drama part two.
This one was not from Samie, but it was caused by Wisana.
Kongkiat even swallowed after what he heard. Meanwhile, Sander whistled out instantly, liking Wisana’s honesty to say something like this out loud.
“It’s alright. I don’t mind.”
“Huh...?”
But everyone was so surprised by Samie’s reply that they made a confused noise in unison.
“Just you don’t dislike me is already enough. I just want to love you. And I want you to care for me, to look at me, even just a little bit.”
Drama part three.
And it was very cliché this time!
Both Sander and Kongkiat turned to look at each other with a cringe face.
“So, if you’re worrying about that, you can just forget about it now. I know that it’s still too soon. You don’t know me enough to say you love me. But believe me, I’ll make you say the word to me one day.”
Wisana froze after her words.
He did not dare look her in the eye. And his hand only kept scratching his neck awkwardly.
“I can’t do this, Samie.” Wisana sighed. “I really can’t, because I already have someone I love. And I love her a lot. If I allow you to be by my side, that won’t be fair to you, Samie. Believe me, just move on from me before...”
“That’s totally not a problem, Love.”
But before Wisana could finish speaking, the dragon girl interrupted, making him pause.
She smiled sweetly at him like she did not mind. Her slender hands slowly reached to cup Wisana’s face gently.
“In the dragon world, there’s no rule saying that males can only have one mate. A strong male can have any mate he likes, and we, female dragons, don’t mind if our mate will mate with other females. As long as the male gives out his love for them enough, the females will be by his side till the day they die.”
“H ...huh?”
Wisana could not make head or tail of this even more.
So, she was saying that she did not care that he already had a lover?!
Okay, this might sound like heaven to other men, but for him, it looked like hell. Maysa would never think this was fun, because as far as he knew, she was not a dragon!
“But.. but I’m a human. And not all humans like having multiple lovers. Most of those who do are bad humans.”
“I don’t care.” She smiled sweetly. “As long as you love me.”
“H ...hey. even though you’re okay with it, doesn’t mean that my girlfriend will be, too.”
“Don’t worry about that. I’ll talk to her. She’ll understand.”
“H ...Huh?!!”
The more they talked, the more Wisana got confused.
Was this really the land of Buddha, ...w ... wait, no, this was the land of Pride.
So, briefly, there was this woman asking to be his girlfriend right now, without minding if he would love her back or have a girlfriend yet. Plus, she even volunteered to clear this up with his current lover about having a polygamy relationship!
Were you planning to build a harem for me?!!
“Well, but that’s not fair to you at all. I’d probably never love you back ever.”
“I’ll change your mind, even just for a little bit.”
“But...”
“Do you hate me?”
It was these words that cast Wisana to be still instantly. She looked deep into his eyes, while her hands were touching his face gently. The distance between them was only a few inches. And she was trying to smile at him as she held back her tears.
Seeing that, Wisana started to feel extremely troubled.
No, no, this girl was cornering him.
“No, I don’t hate you, but...”
“That’s already enough, Love!”
“UGH!”
Without saying anything more. Wisana barely got the chance to clarify what he said, because Samie threw herself in his hug, burying herself in as close as possible, too.
“I’m so glad that you don’t hate me. I promise you I won’t cause you any trouble at all.”
“Yeah, sure, cool, ...b ...but my ribs are going to be broken right now.”
Wisana said with a pale face caused by suffocation. But another reason was probably because of these innocent actions and manners of Samie!
He knew that Samie was similar to Mona Lisa. They were naïve and innocent enough to think that everything in this world would turn out fine in the end. And most importantly, she loved him with all her heart! (He really could not imagine how a human and a dragon could possibly be in love with each other!!)
But anyway, ...
Na was so, so screwed again.
While the cheeky one was trying to get Samie’s arms off him, Sander and Kongkiat caught eye with each other. And then, the master of the magic warrior class curled up a cunning grin.
“I think there’s a lot more drama scenes for us to see,” he said and then chuckled. “I got a feeling that even a prime-time Thai drama can’t even be compared to what’s going to happen.”
“Come on, Master. This is not something to enjoy.” Kongkiat scolded.
“Yes, it is. This is the most enjoyable thing for me!!”
----------------
It did not take long for three men and one dragon to walk 3 kilometers deep into the rainforest. They started seeing some stream running down from the waterfall, and that was the sign that their long trip was about to end because Alexander ship would be somewhere near the spot.
Along the way, Uncle Sander kept giggling like he was some child visiting an amusement park for the first time. And that was probably because how this Sarquros girl clung onto Wisana’s arm like she would never let him go was hilarious to him.
“Oh, there it is. I’m starting to hear some people now.” Sander said in a low voice. The man smiled widely as he pushed the branches out of his way. “Bingo. It’s really here. You guys are so good at hiding.”
Finally, the party had arrived home. The enormous warship was covered by a massive tarp on the top. Clearly, the ship’s engine was stopped to cool down the Mirage Choroid system. A lot of Nemesis guild members were out to set up a camp, walking around busily. They were all doing their tasks. Some of them were carrying items, some were cutting off monsters’ parts, and some were even fishing.
“Your neck’s arrived on the chopping block now, boy.” Sander turned to give him a big smile. “Are you ready for this? Did you choose where you like it?”
“What?” Wisana asked back, frowning his eyebrows.
“What? You haven’t chosen it? Hey, how about this place, Pra Si temple near Bang Khen district? Hall 4, because it’s very convenient to get to the crematory from there. I could be the host on the first night. Probably get some sexy dancers to send you away, too.”
“Master!”
But the cheerful, annoying one just burst out laughing as he walked ahead of the group. Meanwhile, Kongkiat turned to his senior and tried to cheer him up, even though he thought that Wisana would actually ‘be doomed’, but he was just hoping there were some parts of him left for the funeral.
“Dead ...I am so dead,” Wisana whined.
