“Welcome to my safe house, dumbasses.”
The hoarse voice of a woman rang up with a smile on her face. Her slim body was in a tank top and a pair of jeans stomped inside a room with a long bottle of booze that she had been drinking from it all the way here.
A moment later, a pretty girl in a beige, fluffy dress with sharp lavender eyes followed her inside. Her eyes were studying around the place. And then, she proceeded to huff out a tired sigh.
“You swear this is your safe house, Snow?”
The owner of the calm voice asked, getting those indigo-blue eyes of the silver-haired girl to look in Shin’s direction. She pulled the bottle away from her lips as she smiled sweetly at the other.
“Yeah, this is my house. Do you like it? It’s just a small house though, because just an empty lot is more expensive than gold here in Lutier.”
“I’m not talking about the size or the price.” Shin sighed. “I’m more concerned if this place is for a human to live in or if it is a dog’s nest.”
Those lavender-colored eyes looked around after speaking and the first thing that came across his sight was the living room that was full of many empty booze bottles, an ashtray full of remains of nicotine sticks, piles of trash on the floor, and clothes hanging around the lamp in the room.
Witnessing this mess in close range, Shin in the pretty girl’s body held the tip of his sleeve to cover his nose.
“Huh! This is the perfect life, you know.” Snow grinned widely, showing her teeth.
“But I think it’s more like the perfect mess.” Shin disagreed harshly. “I can’t believe you still live awfully like this. There’s no aspect of your personality that is like a woman at all.”
“That’s right. I probably have less of that compared to you.”
The irritating one talked back. And hearing that, the quiet one let out a sound like “huh!” from his throat, before deciding to walk into that messy room grudgingly.
After that, there were four more people following Shin inside. When the first sight of the room that looked similar to a dumpster came into Manoch’s view, the glasses man instantly made a disgusted face.
As well as Aerin, she sniffed her nose like she could smell something unpleasant. Meanwhile, Angie even rushed to cling onto Waree’s pants, because the atmosphere in this house was like a set of a movie about a psychopath murderer she just watched.
And Waree? The girl in a guy’s body was still looking around the place consideringly before her eyes stopped and stared at Snow.
It had started the first time she met this dashing girl. Waree did not feel fond of this woman that much, especially when she...
“So, how do you like my house? If you like it, I can give you a spare key, just in case you visit Lutier next time, you won’t have to waste your money staying at a hotel.”
And after speaking, Snow walked to Shin to wrap her arm around his neck closely. Plus, the guy did not seem like he minded her doing that at all.
“If you can make this place look like a human’s house, I’ll think about it.”
“Aw, stop worrying over a small thing like a woman does wait, yeah, you are a woman right now.”
She cracked into laughter after speaking, stroking Shin’s cheek right after speaking. And her action made Waree’s eyebrows twitch. She snorted out of her throat, while she was staring at Snow.
And of course, the one who was being stared at knew that there was a dead gaze sending directly to her.
So, those indigo-blue eyes stared back at the golden-brown-haired man right away.
“Hey, Shin, does this friend of yours have a problem with me? He’s been staring at me all the way here.”
Hearing that, Shin glanced in Waree’s direction instantly. And when their eyes met, Waree purposely turned her face away, leaving Shin raising his eyebrows there.
“Don’t mind him,” Shin replied briefly. “He’s probably frustrated because he just lost thousands at the casino. And he’s jealous of you for having incredibly good luck.”
Hearing the answer, Snow grinned, holding up a peace sign to Waree right away.
“Well, well, I apologize about that, bro. But luck is a personal talent skill, I don’t know how to teach you. So, if you don’t have enough, don’t try messing with any casino next time.”
Everyone turned to look at Waree in unison after Snow’s words. Those green eyes widened slightly as she had no idea what this manly woman was talking about. And then they caught Shin’s before he shook his pretty face as a warning to not say anything more.
“Right, thank you for your advice, Miss Snow.”
Waree said smilingly, and she even stressed the other’s name in a harsh voice, making the listener crack up and smile.
“Do you have any normal friends?” Snow asked, leaning close.
“No, I don’t, and I already included you.”
“You can’t stop nagging, huh?”
Finally, the dashing girl burst into a joyful laugh, before tossing the bottle that was now empty into the trash can. She stretched her neck left and right like she was trying to sober up.
Snow pulled the hairpin that stuck in her bun out, making her snow-white hair fall on her back. Her indigo-blue eyes winked a couple of times before her tone and expression completely changed.
“You said you have 5 days, right, Shin?”
Snow asked, kicking the piles of trash out of her way to a dining table inside the room that had a white coat hung from one of the chairs.
“Yes, in 5 days, my friends and I...”
“No need.” Snow cut him off. “I don’t care about the war. Also, don’t tell me anything I could sell to your enemies. Understand?”
Hearing that, Shin nodded in agreement right away. Snow was a very fair person. She admitted that if there was someone who asked to buy information about Shin’s army, she would gladly tell them everything if they brought enough money.
The rest of them who were standing in the doorway looked at each other confusedly.
The woman named Snow suddenly looked like a different person.
“All you have to know is that I have 5 days to repair your weapon, buddy,” Snow said smilingly. Then she managed to put on the white coat, and its length was down to her knees.
“And leave the rest to me.”
“What about the cost?”
Hearing the question, Snow cracked out a laugh.
“Like I said, I’d do anything if you could beat me, so it’s all free.”
“Yeah, thank you.”
“Doing it for a friend.”
Snow smiled slightly as she tied her long straight hair up in a tight ponytail with a long thread instead. After that, her slender hand put a cigarette between her lips.
“I need three days,” Snow said, using a lighter to light the cigarette up.
“Isn’t that a bit too long for a legendary weapon maker like Snow Queen?”
