Chapter 440: Vanilia SOS Part I

“Freedom is sure niceee!!”

A cheerful voice rang as the sunlight appeared on the horizon. The speaker was a slim girl in a red jacket with white rims on top of a dark-colored bikini. She was wearing short jeans with knee-length socks and high-top shoes.

Her amber eyes were staring out to the clearing with a small waterway streaming to the side surrounded by lines of trees.

“Master, isn’t the outfit you’re wearing a bit too revealing?”

Another pretty girl with blonde hair in a pure white dress spoke up.

She was floating near the cheeky one who was now looking completely like a woman. Those round amber eyes turned to look at his AI and then he smiled at her.

“It’s okay. It’s not like I wear this every day.”

Wisana grinned brightly. His tone of voice did not sound different from Maysa’s at all.

“But it might make other men look at you the wrong way.”

“Never mind them,” Wisana said smilingly. “I bought this outfit for May, but she kept refusing to wear it. So, I just tried it on myself.”

He said, squeezing his breast that seemed to be a bit too much as he adjusted the top bikini in place playfully.

“It does not suit me?”

“Yes, it is, but that’s not the point,” Jinnie said, rubbing her temples wearily. “But never mind then. Just pretend that I didn’t say anything.”

Jinnie said with a tired face. Then she just floated after her master quietly. Seeing Wisana in a girl version like this reminded her about when Miss Waree transformed earlier. They seemed to have fun switching their gender like this.

“Mo, don’t run too far!!”

Suddenly, Wisana shouted aloud when his eyes caught the small figure ahead of him having fun chasing after a tiny green slime.

“Okaaay! I’ll be right back to you when I finish this one!”

And then she jump-kicked the slime. After that, she sank her sharp fangs into that jelly-like monster. Wisana squinted at her.

“Seems like I have to start teaching her how to fight in a more serious way now. Biting is kind of effective, but it seems so cruel. I don’t know.”

“I agree with that.”

The AI said in a sweet voice. And then she reached her hand up to cover her mouth because Mona Lisa just tore the slime apart with the immense strength of the dragon’s jaws.

“How far is it before we arrive in Vanilia?”

Wisana asked his AI. He summoned a thick book with dragon prints on the cover out, the “Dragon Bible” he got from the dragon warrior class.

“From what I checked, it’s about 5 kilometers to go, Master,” Jinnie replied in a delighted voice.

“Then I have some time to teach Mo how to fight on our way there. I’ll have her leveled up as well.”

Wisana said and started opening the book in his hands quickly. His eyes looked through the pages concentratedly, before he finally said.

“Right here, the book clearly says that the master can only share 40% of EXP with their dragon. But if the dragon is the one farming for its own EXP, the totally earned EXP will be up to 80%.”

Hearing that, Jinnie floated closer to look at the book over Wisana’s shoulder right away.

“So, that’s why you let Mona Lisa fight the monsters by herself?” Jinnie asked.

“Well.” The master shrugged. “I want to widen her view because her learning process doesn’t depend on the EXP but on what she experiences on her own. So, that’s why I sneaked out of the ship.”

“That seems more like you’re finding an excuse for yourself, Master.”

Hearing that, Wisana laughed out loud, turning the book pages.

“How can I be sitting around on the ship? I’ve learned nothing about the class since I passed the class quest. And damn, I haven’t yet unlocked any of the class’s skills until now.”

“Yeah, yeah, do as you please, Master. I have to follow you around anyway, it’s not my place to argue with you about anything.”

“Cutie.”

He said, reaching out his hand to pinch his AI’s cheek softly. Making her let out an amused laugh.

“Well then, what are you going to do next?” Jinnie asked.

“Yeah..." He drawled, while his eyes were looking through the information. “First, I will train little Mo, toughening her up so she can help me in battles. Next, I’ll try to unlock my class skills, at least a couple of them. If I get back to the ship empty-handed, May will probably finish me off for sure.”

“I see.”

Jinnie replied with a smile, even though she thought to herself that it did not matter how many skills her master could unlock, he was going to be finished off by his girlfriend anyway.

“And our destination is the tourist attraction, Vanilia town. We’ll spend a couple of nights there before we travel back to Alexander. So, we can do it all by taking a vacation, relaxing, and farming more skills. See? This is totally killing a bunch of birds with one stone.”

His smile went wider out of satisfaction. It looked so cheeky on a pretty girl’s face, so that made Jinnie slip out laughing, too. And what her master said sounded like a nice plan actually.

It had been a while since she went on a casual adventure with him, like this. Maybe how they sneaked out like this could be a good thing. At least Wisana could rest and relax, too.

Both of them kept walking forward in nice weather. Wisana talked to Jinnie about the abilities of a dragon warrior along the way. He told her that he wanted Mona Lisa to grow up fast. It was written in the book that the higher the level a dragon had, the more it grew. So, Wisana wanted her to be a teenager quickly because he could not wait for his daughter to fly him into the sky now.

“I think little Mo’s dragon form will be very elegant.”

He said dreamily. His slender hands reached up to place his palm in the sky with a delighted smile.

“At least she will look like Sarquros. A beautiful black dragon with Vincent riding on its back. Can you imagine how cool it will look?”

“Yeah, sure.”

Jinnie agreed just to brush him off. She was used to how dreamy her master was. But well, she could not imagine how little Mona Lisa would grow up to be like how her master pictured it, because right now...

“GRRRRRZ!!

Right after her words, little Mo started fighting with a huge squirrel called ‘Big Squirrel’. It seemed like she was not fond of this monster that much, so she was rolling on the dirt with it, biting its tail and making it scream with tears running down.

“I think, it will take a long while before your daughter becomes elegant like you want.”

“T ...that’s right.” He said, letting out a sigh. “Just so you know, raising a child is not easy at all. Like damn, I kind of started having respect for mothers who raised their children to be decent people now.”

After speaking, the tall man walked straight right to Mona Lisa with Jinnie floating along to his side with a weary face just like his. The closer they got, the more intense little Mo’s fight with the squirrel got. It was obvious that the monster never thought about fighting back at all. All it did was struggle to escape. What Wisana saw here kind of reminded him about a deer getting mauled by a lion.

“Mo, that’s enough. You can’t fight like this. It’s not nice of you.”

He said, reaching down to grab his daughter’s arm, implying that he wanted her to let that monster go already. But instead of listening to Wisana, she gave him something else instead.

“GRRR!!”

“Ouch!”

Suddenly, his little daughter turned to sink her fangs in his hand so harshly that it made the damage points pop up. Wisana let go of her arm instantly. And Mona Lisa just continued struggling with the squirrel intensely.

Seeing that, Jinnie let out a long sigh right away.

“Player Wisana’s unlocked Dragon Heal skill from getting attacked by his pet dragon.”
