Chapter 441: Vanilia SOS Part II

Chapter 441: Vanilia SOS Part II

“Player Wisana’s unlocked Dragon Heal skill from getting attacked by his pet dragon.”

The announcement was in a deep tone, making the owner of those amber eyes turn to look at his AI confusedly. Meanwhile, Jinnie just sighed in response.

“It seems like you’ve got a new skill like you planned to, Master.” She said with an emotionless face.

“What a dumb way to get a skill!” The father of the dragon shouted aloud, before glaring at his daughter right away. “Little Mo. That wasn’t nice. How could you bite your father like that? You’ll get a spank if you keep being stubborn!”

The scolding did not make little Mo stop paying attention to the huge squirrel at all.

So, seeing his daughter being like this, the father started to get a little upset now.

“Mo, I said that’s enough.”

He repeated, but his daughter did not listen.

“Mo!”

His voice started to sound like a shout, but the little girl kept on with her fight still.

“I need you to stop right now, Mona Lisa!!”

Finally, it became a brawl that was resounding through the area. His voice which usually was soft and kind, became serious and strict. Mona Lisa’s tiny figure shuddered as she loosened her jaws around the monster’s tail instantly. She crouched down on the ground, eyes looking up at her father frighteningly.

“Don’t do anything like that again, do you understand? Do not bite me, that’s an order. And in fact, do not fight anyone by biting at all. Do you understand?!”

Wisana was still bawling. The same-eye-color eyes as her father’s looked as if she was in a panic. She hurriedly nodded slowly. Jinnie then let out a slight sigh.

“That’s Dragon Command skill, right, Master?”

Jinnie asked before Wisana nodded in reply.

Finally, he pushed out a long sigh.

“Damn, it’s really hard raising a child.”

Instead of feeling guilty after hearing that complaint coming out of her father’s mouth, little Mona Lisa cracked out a dry laugh. Wisana curled up a wry smile, before shaking his head again.

“You’re still laughing. Unbelievable.” Wisana said with a weary smile.

“I’m sorry. I’ve never seen anything like that before, so I can’t stop.”

“It’s alright,” Wisana said smilingly. “Alright, let’s get up now. We still have a long way to go. And I’ll teach you a better way of fighting along the way, sounds good?”

“Yes!!”

The little girl hurriedly replied in a delighted voice, before standing up on his side. Her face did not have a trace of guilt at all, and Wisana could only sigh about it.

“Uh, wait up, Papa. Before we go, let me finish this first.”

“Finish? Finish what?” Wisana asked.

Heavy Voice

After Wisana’s question, little Mona Lisa proceeded to activate her special skill with a loud growl, shooting a red beam with a black tint out of her mouth straightly at the huge squirrel that just escaped from her!

BOOM!!

35,025!!

The sound of the explosion was resoundingly loud as the wind of destruction blew out of the area. Wisana and Jinnie widened their eyes in disbelief. They both were stunned as they looked at the damage points that had just popped out of the squirrel’s body.

On the ground, there was a long, large crack as the beam that Mona Lisa went through.

“I did it! See, I didn’t bite it at all, too, Papa!”

The girl shouted happily. Meanwhile, the father swallowed, slowly looking down at his daughter who was holding a peace sign and looking proud of herself.

The beam was just like the one she shot at Sven, right...?

That was freaking strong!

Wisana shouted in his mind, blinking.

“Little Mo,” He called her name, voice shaking.

“Yes, Papa?”

“Well, the destroyer beam you just shot...”

“It’s Heavy Voice. I tried using it before when I saved Papa back then. I couldn’t control it well, but I did it better now.”

Hearing her say it so proudly, Wisana was stunned a little.

“Well, yeah, but later, this kind of beam...”

And he lost his word mid-sentence because he accidentally looked the girl in the eyes directly. Those eyes with the same color as his were glittering with the expectation that she would get a compliment. They looked so pure and innocent. The eyes that made Wisana speechless.

“What is it, Papa?” Mona Lisa asked.

“Er, it’s nothing. My girl is the best.

“I know right.”

The girl smiled at the compliment, eyes squinting. Seeing that, Wisana could only reach his hand out to rock her head left and right out of endearment and weariness. Meanwhile, the one who was watching them like Jinnie did not know what else to say, so she just strugglingly hid her laugh in her hand.

“We better get going, so we have more time to play.”

“Okay!!”

Mona Lisa agreed in a joyful voice. She held her arms up to the sky with excitement. And about the father? He started to realize that he had to be double exhausted, and this was just the first day of the trip.

“Hey, hey, what Papa is going to teach me?”

The girl asked, reaching up to hold her father’s hand. Both were walking with completely different looks on their faces.

“Don’t ask me anything for now, sweetheart,” Wisana said in a withering voice. “The only thing I know was that you taught me an important lesson just now.”

“Eh, what is that?” The little girl tilted her hand with curiosity.

“Never mind that. We have to hurry to Vanilia first, so we can find some breakfast there.”

“Okay!!”

When Mona Lisa agreed with a cheerful smile, Wisana kept holding onto his daughter’s hand with a complete wry expression. And about the lesson he learned today?

Today, he just realized that...

Raising a child was very exhausting!

Wisana could only whine in his mind, while Jinnie was watching father and daughter in front of her with an amused smile that she could no longer hide. She floated after them as a thought popped up in her head.

It did not matter how good and heroic someone was in battle.

They would just get screwed over when they got to deal with a kid.

----------------

Half an hour was already enough for Wisana to travel 5 kilometers straight to the front of Vanilia town. Along the way, the route was mostly clear, and strange that there was barely a player passing by. There were only a few monsters crossing through them to become Mona Lisa’s victims.

Wisana tried so hard to tell his daughter that she should save such a strong attack for when she really needed to use it. She did not quite follow that at first, since she still randomly blew the local monsters up with that beam, scaring them away.

Okay, fighting this way would give her a lot of EXP...

But she should at least help save Pride’s environment a bit. If Pride repairing staff found out what Mo did, he had no idea how much money they would fine him!

“You have to use your magic. Just like how Papa taught you.”

Wisana said in a tired voice, eyes looking at the wood that was just destroyed by Mo’s Heavy Voice.

“But magic is hard.” The girl pouted.

“Uh,” Wisana scratched his head. “Let’s just say that the Heavy Voice thing is cool, I like it. But you have to save it for when you counter a strong enemy, okay? Use it as a finishing skill, so you can win beautifully.”

“Use it as a finishing skill?” Mona Lisa asked with a confused face.

“That’s right. How about you make it your ultimate skill?”
