Chapter 438: Snow Queen Part V

Chapter 438: Snow Queen Part V

Yeah, she was totally messing around!

Pain in the ass!

“What do you want?” Shin asked briefly.

But that made Snow snap her finger out of satisfaction right away. She then placed a hand on Shin’s shoulder, before curling up a soft smile at him.

“I already have plenty of money, and it’s clear that it doesn’t matter here at all. Pride and glory are like other people’s breath. So, what matters the most to me is something fun, gorgeous.”

She winked after speaking. But Shin did not feel the fun at all, so he was shaking his head wearily.

“If you can beat me, I’ll repair the item for you.”

“Snow, you...”

“Of course, not beating in a physical fight. You must beat me with your luck.”

She cut Shin off, not listening to what he had to say at all. Also, those indigo-blue eyes were glittering as her cheeks started blushing red. It was clear that she was getting drunk.

“So, just beat you, right?” Shin asked briefly.

“Yes, if you can beat me, I’ll be listening to everything you say, bestie.”

Hearing that, Shin blew a breath out of his mouth. His eyes caught Manoch’s for a moment. And the one who came with him just shrugged, unsure of what to say.

“Fine, I’ll beat you. After that, you will not be tricky, and you will start repairing my weapon right away and willingly?”

“Of course.” Snow smiled widely. “But if it goes otherwise that I beat you instead, I’ll take the Four Seasons back, okay?”

She said, holding the rings up right away, both Shin and Manoch flinched. They never thought that the woman before them would bet with something like this before!

“Isn’t that a bit too much, Snow?” Shin asked slowly.

“No, not at all.” Snow waved her hand around. “Because I made this weapon and didn’t charge you any coin for that. So, I have the right to have it back whenever I want. Plus, you brought it back messed up like this, I might have to reconsider if my weapon should be in your hand again or not.”

Snow words sounded quite make sense, but to play gambling in a casino like this, Shin was clearly unfavorable since her luck was so good that even the casino begged for their lives!

“Fine.” Shin accepted the challenge as he got up.

“Hey, Shin are you sure?”

Manoch quickly tried to stop him, but his slender hand was held up as his pretty face nodded to imply, “Trust me.” and that was it. The glasses man did not know what to argue with him anymore.

“There he is, baby Shin that I know,” Snow shouted. She finished another glass of Tequila, before standing up, too.

“So, what are we playing?” Shin asked.

“Can you do Poker?” Snow asked back.

“Yeah.”

“Good, then we’re playing Poker.”

After her words, Snow clapped her hand aloud, calling a small robot to float to her right away as it yelled, “Poker challenge’s here!”

That was all to get everyone’s attention to the two who were standing at the counter bar. Many people started gathering in to crowd around the challenge with interest. This was a special system for players who wanted to gamble privately with only 100 coins per game, and they could place unlimited bets.

“Hey, hey, that’s Snow, isn’t it? She crashed the casino today, and now she’s going to take down another player, too? She’s really a huge gambler.”

“Oi! But her opponent is kind of my type, so cute. I’m going to root for her.”

“Miss Snow, do your best, destroy that girl down!!”

“Don’t give it up to Snow, gorgeous. She’s good but she will make mistakes. We’ll be on your side with this battle, you doe-eyed baby.”

The crowd started cheering loudly. It was probably a normal thing around here that Snow was always at the center of attention. Meanwhile, Manoch, who was standing outside the circle, looked at Shin worriedly.

“We’ll have the final result in one game,” Snow said smilingly.

“Okay.”

After that, the small robot summoned a digital battlefield, which was a large hologram table that was set in between the two perfectly. In the blink of an eye, it started shuffling the cards fast, before handing the deck to Snow.

“Would you like to cut the deck?” The robot asked.

“No, let the other do it.”

Snow said with a smile on her face, making the robot turn to Shin instead. It handed the deck of cards to him, and he decided to take some of them out, before handing them back to the small robot.

After that, it started shuffling the deck quickly again, before giving out the cards to the players, 5 cards were now floating in front of each of them. Shin skimmed through his cards quickly, before looking up at Snow’s eyes.

“Do you know why I chose Poker?”

Snow asked as he managed her cards in the right order by dragging her index finger to move them around in the air.

“How would I know?” Shin started doing the same thing the other did.

“It’s because Poker is the game I’m best at and the only game that the casino bans me off their tables.”

“Why?” Shin asked.

“Well, since the first time I got here, I had taken about 1,000 million coins from their Poker tables already.”

After her words, Manoch’s jaw dropped. He knew she was probably bragging, but he still felt like there was some truth in what she said somehow.

“I hope that didn’t discourage you,” Snow said smilingly.

“No, it didn’t,” Shin replied, unbothered. “And the reason you had to share the information to scare me was not because you’re afraid, right?”

And he talked back with an emotionless face, too. Seeing that, the dashing woman laughed with satisfaction. This game seemed to take a while because both took a long time to think. It was a game where players could only change the cards in their hands one time, and they were still undecided about which ones they should change out of the five cards they had.

“S ...so tense.” A man spoke from the crowd.

“Yeah, their faces are unreadable. If these two sat on the same table, the casino could just prepare to be broke right away.”

“That’s why it is called poker face, right? Damn, this is the first time I gotta see it.”

Finally, Snow was the first to make a move, and then she did an incredible thing before everyone’s eyes, which was changing 4 cards in her hand!

“Change 4 cards in a roll?!”

“Yeah, that’s Snow’s trick. She’s hoping for some high-value cards, and it’s so strange that it works every goddamn time.”

Whispers started going around as the robot gave another four cards to Snow. She looked at the new ones, and then she curled up a smile. Of course, the smile was very hard to read!

“What are you still overthinking about, hm, Shin? Or do you want to go just like that?” Snow asked.

“Chill, Snow.”

Shin spoke slowly, before doing something that was even more surprising, making everyone let out a sensation.

He proceeded to fold all his cards away. His fluffy dress was waving, making those girls who had their eyes on Snow all the time turn to look at Shin instead. Plus, they even started to think the same thing that, ‘this girl is so damn cool.’

“She’s changing all the cards?!”
