Chapter 432: City of the Night “Lutier” Part V

“But well, those two are very smart. Just taking a crystal from a noob, they wouldn’t have to let themselves hurt that much, especially Lavi. I really hope that he’ll still be in one piece when we meet again. I want to fight this guy the most, you know. He seems to be so good, do you think so, Orn?”

He was talking until his eyes glanced at his friend and saw that she was frozen in front of him. Her face looked like something was going on in her mind. Her eyes were looking down as her hands were clinging tightly to her skirt.

“Orn?” Wisana tried calling her name, but the other was still not moving. “Miss Warunya!”

“Y ...yes, sir?”

He shouted, and finally, it worked. Warunya looked up at him. She seemed surprised but covered that up quickly.

“Are you alright? You were spaced out. Do you need some rest?”

“Y ...yeah, I’m fine. It’s just that, I have something to think about.”

Warunya said with a voice that was faked to be as calm as possible. Wisana’s eyebrows arched as he looked at the one before him with a doubtful face, but he could still manage to nod along with her finally.

“And do you have anything else?” Wisana asked.

“Oh, no, I don’t. I came just to report to you that Nam’s party got to Lutier safely. And I just got information about monsters around Alexander, so, I’m going to bring it to Maysa now.”

“Monsters’ information?”

Wisana raised his eyebrows slightly, before glancing at his kid Mona Lisa, who was trying to summon ice magic out of her hand. He looked at her doing it for a while until a smirk crossed his face.

“Can I have a copy?” Wisana asked, smiling.

“Of the monsters’ information?”

“That’s right. Please send it to me, too.”

Hearing that, Warunya’s eyebrows knitted together confusedly. But finally, she curled up a slight smile and sent the information to this cheeky boss right away, even though she still had no idea what this man would want it for.

“Did you get all 53 files?”

“I did, thank you so much. You probably have to go back to work now, but don’t forget to take some time to rest, too, okay?”

“Okay.”

Warunya nodded in response, then she closed her information window down and turned her heels to walk out of the room. But she had not made it to the door before she paused. Those black eyes were glancing left and right with confusion. Those pretty lips pressed together like she was having something anxious going on in her mind.

“Boss!”

Finally, she decided to turn back again and called out for Wisana. The tall man paused before he could sit back down on the floor with his daughter. He looked at his friend and smiled in reply.

“Yes?”

“Well, I ...can I talk to you about something?”

Hearing that, the man raised his eyebrows slightly, before nodding and smiling at her.

“Of course.”

Warunya was still when she saw Wisana’s gentle smile. She could not find words to speak as if she was reconsidering whether she should say it or not. Those dark-colored eyes turned away as her lips parted like she was about to speak but there was just a brief sigh coming out.

“Is it something serious? But you can still talk about it with me, you know.”

Wisana reassured her, because the look on her face, whatever she had to say, seemed like a big deal.

However, after Warunya heard his encouragement, she shook her head slightly with a sweet smile.

“Never mind.” She said, “It’s actually some nonsense that you don’t have to mind. Let’s just say that it doesn’t matter, okay?”

Then she swung the door open. The slender woman was about to leave the room, but Wisana called her in.

“Orn,”

The short-haired girl paused. She pressed her lips together tightly, while she was collecting the courage to look her friend in the eye again.

“Yes?” She smiled back at him.

“We’re friends. You can share whatever that’s bugging you with me. Anything.”

A warm feeling blew through her as if his gentle voice was getting her strength back again. Warunya chose to smile and nod at the one in front of her.

“Thank you. But there’s nothing, really. You already helped.”

“Yes?”

The man could only raise eyebrows, confused about Warunya’s words. Finally, she shook her head slightly, before walking out of the room, leaving him having no idea about what and when he helped her.

The door was closed again as Wisana sat down on the floor with his daughter.

His rough hand opened a window to see the information he just got from Warunya. It included a map of this area with details about dungeons, harvest spots, small towns nearby, local monsters’ profiles, and finally, an approximate number of players around here.

“Looks like there’re no players from any major guilds here. They’re all those who participate in the challenge rule.” He smiled after speaking. “Then there shouldn’t be any problems if it’s like this. It’s quite safe around here. But well, how could May figure such a suitable parking spot for us like this?”

“Yay! I did it, Papa!”

Suddenly, little Mona Lisa shouted aloud, getting her father’s eyes back on her. Then he saw a white ball of magic the size of a Ping pong ball appearing with cool steam. Wisana raised his eyebrows right away.

“You actually did it!” He shouted, too, with an extremely impressed face.

“Yeah! I’m Papa’s girl.”

She said, then smiled, showing her teeth and eyes squinting, seeing that he could not help but reach out to ruff her hair softly.

“If you’re a good girl like this, then I have to give you a present as I promised you, huh?” Wisana said in a delighted voice.

“Right!”

Little Mona Lisa’s smile was beaming as she quickly cancelled out the magic on her hand and leaped to sit on her father’s lap right away.

“What are you giving me?” The little girl asked.

“Let me think about it.”

Wisana put his finger to his lips for a moment as his eyes were on the information window before him. And then he saw that there was a small town called ‘Vanilia’ located near here. Also, there was a ‘hot spring’ icon highlighted on the map, too.

And when this icon appeared anywhere on the map, it meant that the spot or town was a tourist attraction in Pride world. So, this Vanilia town had to have some hotels with hot springs and other beautiful places for touring surely.

Wisana curled up a soft smile after the thought.

“I have a present to give to you now.”

He said, winking at his daughter. After that, he reached his hand in his inventory window and pulled an item out. This time, it was a small pill jar, the one he asked Manoch to share with him hours ago.
