Chapter 409: Wings That Fly to the New Legend Part III

“I think it’s a bit too soon for you to be out now, Valentine.”

However, there was a gentle voice of someone ringing up. Her purple eyes immediately looked at the top of a nearby building that was about the same height as the one she was at, where she saw a man sitting with his knee up on the edge with a lively smile. And that was all to take a smile away from Valentine’s face.

“Lavi?” She said his name in a calm voice.

“Hi there, gorgeous. Long time no see.” The other just waved his hand at her familiarly.

Meanwhile, the players who were standing behind Valentine turned pale instantly. Maybe that was because they did not know since when one of the four gods, or the strongest man in Pride, or their worst enemy had appeared in front of them. Also, he had just been there without any of them noticing at all!

This guy had such cat burglar’s feet!

“I’m wondering what takes you here, Mister Lavi,” Valentine said politely.

“Just wanted to say hi to you, I guess,” Lavi smirked.

“Aw, that’s very sweet.” She smiled sweetly. “But I’m afraid that this is not the right time for that. I’m kind of busy at the moment. Can we save this for later?”

The man shrugged like he did not care about that at all.

“Is there something bugging you, hm, Valentine? Could it be that my boy is being so naughty that you have to go scold him, gorgeous?”

“It could be.” She tilted her head, looking so soft and sweet.

“Come on. There’s nothing wrong with a kid having fun.” Lavi slipped out laughing. “Don’t act like a mother who is overprotective of her son. Oh, or is it the guy’s left eye you’re worried about? The eye that has something sealed in it.”

The behaved woman stopped short at those words. Her lavender-purple eyes shifted from gentle-looking eyes into harsh ones right away. None of her players had seen those eyes of Valentine before, the eyes of a demon!

“Great. Such magnificent eyes.” Lavi said in a slow voice.

“Who exactly did you send here in the battle, Mister Lavi?” Valentine asked right to the point without a playful look in her eyes anymore.

Seeing that, Lavi chuckled. He was not wrong that Valentine’s only weakness was that guy, a commander who was like a dark horse for everyone else, that one who seemed to not be in her interest, Vis the eagle eye.

“Good question, who might that be?” He purposely tried to get on her nerves. “Who’s that one with the same speed as mine, the one with sharp instinct? Who’s about to turn 16 and a born genius, who grows up destined to be the top of the top ones?”

Valentine gasped.

“It’s Akkee?”

“Correct. You’re quite easy to understand things. Talking to you isn’t so irritating, not like talking to Marcus.”

While Lavi was smiling knowingly, Valentine blinked rapidly. The name Akkee did not sound good to her at all, but it sounded like a disaster. Maybe that was because the kid’s abilities were almost the same rank as the four gods even!

After the thoughts, her anxious emotions started to grow in her. The slim one turned her heels, about to rush into the battle zone right away.

SNAP!

However, Lavi just snapped his fingers once, and there were more than 80 kinds of weapons appearing in front of Valentine and the Bunny Burner guild members. Moreover, those weapons were pointing their sharp edges at Valentine like a command for her to hold still.

“Uh-uh, didn’t I just tell you that it’s a little bit too soon, Valentine?”

After speaking, he stood up finally and proceeded to leap over to the same building as her, making the Bunny Burners draw back with fear. That might be because they were mostly range players like mages or communicative agents. They would never stand a chance in fighting with the number one player like Lavi at all!

Unlike Valentine, her sharp lavender eyes were narrowing at this smug man intimidatingly.

“What do you think you’re doing, Mister Lavi?” She asked in a deepened voice.

“No, what do you think you’re doing, Valentine? Are you going to interrupt those guys playing around, or what?”

“Yeah, because I don’t think that’s what they’re doing.” She shook her head slightly. “It’s obvious that their abilities are too different. My player’s unable to handle a genius with a hidden strength equal to the four gods like that by himself. and you still say that they’re just playing around?”

“Well, yeah.” Lavi shrugged.

“Huh! But I’ll say that it’s one-sided bullying!”

“Are you sure?”

After speaking, Lavi made the woman quiet. His sharp eyes were staring at Valentine like he knew something.

“Who exactly is it you said that has strength equal to the four gods again? Is it really Akkee you were talking about? But well, you probably know the answer the most, Valentine.”

The listener was silent for a moment as their eyes were locked on each other like they were reading the other’s mind.

Valentine could only clench her teeth, feeling strangely frustrated.

“The eye’s not something you should play with. If it’s revealed, the whole city, no, the continent will be on fire.”

“That’s exactly what I want to see the most.”

After his words, Lavi’s lively smile got wider, making Valentine close her eyes as she let out a long sigh.

“That’s right. I was wrong.” She said in a wry voice.

“Huh?”

“I was wrong about thinking that you were the most reasonable one among the four gods. But it turned out, you’re a demon that thirsts for wars the most.”

After hearing that, Lavi started laughing out loud.

“You just realized that now?” He asked.

Valentine did not say anything in reply. She was just smiling, shaking her head.

“I’m not going to be responsible for anything If that left eye opens up, and your army gets destroyed, okay?”

“That sounds good, actually. Maybe this war without Vincent will be a bit more fun with that.”

Lavi said in a delighted voice. He waved his hand a couple of times, and the weapons that were pointing their sharp edges at Valentine disappeared in the blink of an eye. After that, he turned back to sit in the same spot and started watching the battle at the center of the city enjoyably.

Meanwhile, Valentine, who was stopped from getting in between the battle, could only let out a long sigh. She just wished that Vis would never take that eye patch off, even though there was a high chance of him doing so.

BANG!!

The sound of gunfire was heard resounding throughout the area, followed by a slender figure of a man leaping from the top of a building to another fast. His eye glanced back and saw that some brat was still chasing closely after him. He clenched his jaws tightly.

“Your speed movement is quite fast. It’s like you’re not a gunner class player at all.”

That brat shouted delightedly. And in a blink later, he leaped up, before launching down to kick him with full force!

“Damn it!”

THUD!!

Vis cursed in a high-pitched voice. He barely rolled forward to dodge the attack in time, not expecting that this kid could speed up from ten to a hundred out of sudden like this!

“Your reflexes are great, too. I think maybe a melee class is more suitable for you. It probably makes you more famous than you already are, Mister Vis.”
