Chapter 378: Keep the Change Part VI

Chapter 378: Keep the Change Part VI

“But that isn’t enough to get me in your hand, you know. No way.”

There was silence for a moment after Vincent’s words. For Bhira, he knew instantly that there were no lies or bragging in these words. The man spoke with full confidence and trust. But for Jade, he only felt something in his brain twitching and it was so close to exploding now!

“Can I just put a slap on his face, Bhi? Did you hear what he was saying? How can he still be so corky in a condition like that?”

Jade shouted aloud, but Bhira lost his words to speak. Maybe that was because he accidentally caught eye with this monster. The monster that was known as the strongest berserker. “Are you implying that you’re sure that you can escape from us like this, Mister Vincent?” Bhira asked jokingly.

He was just pretending that he was not bothered by the enemy’s words in front of his unit. But he knew that Vincent was up to something. Some incredible things that made him well-known until now!

“Sure,” Bhira said finally. “I’m curious to see how you would escape from us as well. There’re players with at least level 100 surrounding you. Also, are you going to cut loose and leave many of your guild members behind? Moreover, you’re under the curse, which, I’m afraid, is the biggest problem of yours right now.”

Hearing that, Wisana slipped out a laugh, before shaking his head slowly.

“You have a point. But like I asked earlier, do you really think that this can stop me?”

“Huh!” Jade shouted. “I think Vincent is only good at bluffing. Look at your condition, how can you be so bold to say something like that?”

Wisana smiled in response to that insult. He just looked up to the bright sky, before closing his eyes slowly.

“It’s not going to take that long now,” Wisana spoke up softly. “You’re ready, Shin?”

“Yeah.”

Shin replied straightly.

The two enemies who were towering over them raised their eyebrows, not catching up with what the two on the ground were talking about at all!

WEEE!

“Huh, you’re just bluffing. Don’t listen to him, Bhi. Our support unit will bring the couriers to carry our prisoners in a moment. You better go check on the spell unit if they have finished claiming the area yet.” Jade said.

WEEEEE!

“...”

Bhira was speechless. His eyes were staring at Wisana who was lying still on the ground, wondering what the man was up to at the moment.

WEEEEEEEEEE!!

Until there was the sound of something going fast through the air loud and clear. The Cataral chiefs stopped short, eyes searching around consideringly.

“What’s that noise?” Jade asked.

“Noise like this, ...c ..can it be,” Bhira knitted his eyebrows together.

“Here it comes!!”

And finally, Wisana was the one who shouted at the top of his lungs. His eyes widened again, followed by a loud explosion that shook the whole area with its force!!

BOOM!

At the same time, flames were catching and blazing up. That damage was as strong as a Napalm bomb. It exploded in the middle of the Cataral players’ circle, blowing them off scatteringly. After their unit got a surprise attack, both Jade and Bhira widened their eyes as they lay themselves flat on the ground.

“Holy sh*t! What the hell was that?”

“That was a cannon, idiot. They shot at us. You had to ask?”

“What?!”

“Were they going to kill the same side, too?”

Bhira said through ground teeth. Many players had not learned how to dodge a cannon shot before, so they were running around chaotically. And of course, when another shot was fired, they were blown away by the impact, looking just like bowling pins!

“Idiots! Stay down. Take cover. You will only be a target running around like that!” Jade shouted in alarm.

But at the same time. Wisana’s laugh came interrupting. He was still lying on the ground where the Cataral chiefs got down to avoid the cannon.

“HAHAHAHA. That’s my chief of staff. Not too fast, not too slow. I have to say she’s got such good timing.”

Wisana started bursting out with a satisfied laugh. And hearing that, every enemy knew right away that the cannon shots were totally from Maysa, the Nemesis’ chief of staff.

“D ...don’t say that this is what you were expecting?”

Jade shouted, even though he was still lying flat on the ground. Wisana then turned to wink at him after hearing the question.

“Are you planning to get killed with your people, Vincent? Just so you know, this is pointless. Don’t you see the barrier that we put up over your guild members? It can endure a lot of damage, so your cannon shots won’t be able to break it!”

“I see it and thank you for putting it over my people,” Wisana said happily. “But I never said that I would die with my guild. It’s the chaos of you all while being under the cannon attack is what I’m aiming for.”

“What?”

Bhi spoke up curiously. What was the point of buying some time with this chaos? This guy was still paralyzed right here anyway. Who would have come to dispel the curse for him?”

“You guys are too careless,” Wisana said again in a gentle voice. “You should have learned more about me before you thought about capturing me alive. First thing first, you should have learned about my weapons. And second, you should have been reminded that being an enemy to me means that you’re an enemy to my AI as well.”

He paused for a moment. He then flashed a smile, before changing his expression to be serious that got the two Cataral chiefs startled.

“Darkness.”

Wisana only said a word softly, before his choker started glowing with a sparkling red and black aura. A quick moment later, the magic barrier that the Catarals had cast to imprison the Nemesis guild broke into pieces right away!

“What, the barrier!”

“C ...crap. how’s that possible?”

WHOOOP!

The Cataral chiefs could only widen their eyes for a moment, before a dazzling light shone from in front of them, making them turn their faces away. Another incredible thing had clearly happened now!

“Y ...you, that AI.”

Bhira could not find words to speak.

Because right now, Wisana was back to full strength again. The tall man stood up in the panicked eyes of the two chiefs. Moreover, there was a beautiful spirit with blonde hair in a knee-length dress floating behind Wisana. Those indigo-blue eyes of hers were gazing down from above like they were judging those who thought they could match with her master...

Because they were 10 years too soon!

“Let me introduce Jinnie to you,” Wisana said smilingly, stretching his neck left and right. “She’s my AI and an expert in holy element supportive skills. I hope this can explain to you guys why she could dispel the curse for me.”

He burst out a loud laugh after speaking. He then pointed to behind his back, where the Nemesis players started getting and holding their weapons in their hands again like they had been waiting for this moment for so long!

“And about the barrier, if you never had given me a clue, I’d have been curious about it for the rest of my life surely.” He gave them a pity-looking smile. “You see this? This is Darkness, one of my witty weapons. It can create unlimited illusions. And I’d created 6 of them before I separated from the force. So, those illusions had been hiding among the guild players and trying to undo the spell from inside there. I don’t have to give you the details about which spell I used in undoing it, right?”

Hearing that, the Cataral Chiefs’ mouths were gasping like they were in shock now.

So, Wisana just shrugged like he could not care less.

“I don’t want to break your hearts more than this, but your leader could only shoot me like that because I was controlling six illusions of me at the same time, too. That was why my self-reflexes were showered down. He wouldn’t be able to shoot me if that were a normal time.”

Wisana shook his head a little like he was confirming those were all truths. If these were someone else’s words, it would have sounded like bragging and unreliable for sure. But when they were from this man’s mouth, both Bhira and Jade felt that they were, ...intimidating.

“But I’ve got to admit that your leader won in the first battle. No matter how hard we try, we won’t be able to beat you, yet. The injured number on our side will just increase if we keep fighting. So, we’re going to retreat now. Anyway, may I have that woman back?”

The owner of amber eyes asked politely. And his words made Bhira feel very unexplainably uncomfortable. If he refused, he would totally get killed by this man. But if he went back empty-handed, leader Sven would not be kind to him either.

“Please don’t resist. I know you’re a smart one. Think about what’s best for you. You right now don’t have any chance against us.”

Wisana reminded the other with a serious face, and that was all to make Bhira swallow his saliva nervously. He turned his face away grudgingly because this guy was right, Bhira was no match for him at all.

“Don’t have any chance against you? Don’t make me laugh!!”

However, the fearless, hot-tempered one like Jade launched himself up from the ground quickly. His assassin knives were summoned firmly in his hands, before slabbing them at Wisana straightly.

“Don’t, Jade!” Bhira tried to stop him.

“HRRR.” Wisana sighed.

“Come on.”

And the last voice was of Shin, who spoke up wearily. The tall man walked in between Wisana and Jade slowly with his spear summoned up and held tightly in his hand.

Longinus spear.

“The idiotic acts always come from idiots, right you idiot?”

Scarness Slash!

150,852!

As fast as he thought, Shin swung the spear at the enemy fast like lightning striking down from the sky. Thick blood spattered out from Jade’s body. The wound started from his face all the way to his torso. Right now, he was lying still on the ground, drowning in his own blood that was scarily steaming out.

Meanwhile, Shin was back to standing straight again. The end of his spear’s handle landed harshly on the ground when he placed it down. Those lavender-colored eyes looked down at Jade, and then he said.

“Don’t worry. I’m not going to kill you, infernal hyena.”

Bhira was speechless.

He never expected these two to be this strong.

One was witty and full of tricks that were hard to deal with.

While the other was calm, cold, and decisive.

And when teaming up with each other, these two could make...

The strongest duo in history, probably.

After that, Wisana glanced down at the unconscious Jade as he curled up a smile.

“It can’t be helped, you know.” He shrugged, unbothered. “Let’s just say that we’re settled now, for how you beat my friend up so badly, and how you flipped me with your foot, too. I understand that Shin might get back at you a little bit too harshly, but you can take that as some interest I gave you.”

He paused for a few seconds, before grinning.

“Also, keep the change.”
