Chapter 371: Right In the Face, “From the range of 3 kilometers?!” Part VII

Chapter 371: Right In the Face, “From the range of 3 kilometers?!” Part VII

“Should we start eliminating the enemies now, leader Jade?”

A voice rang from beside the silver-haired man named Jade. He managed to let out a throaty laugh, before turning those indigo eyes of his to gaze at the one next to him.

“There’s no need to rush. These guys are like fish in a barrel. Gathering them to their friends later isn’t too late though. also, leader Sven orders to capture them alive.”

“Yes, sir!”

After responding, the group separated into their positions to attack right away.

Even Nuchjaree feared the situation. She never thought that they would get attacked from behind like this. How was this happening? Did they really take time to run around the field from the other side? If they did, it meant that the enemies already knew their attack patterns. The blue side could even predict their strategy.

The adviser of the other army...

Was absolutely a monster!

“Chief Nuchjaree, their levels are too high. ...Half of our unit’s killed already!”

Hearing that, Nuchjaree’s thoughts snapped, her eyes stared at what was happening consideringly and figured out right away that the enemies’ frontline was just a decoy to pull their front unit away, so they could send a stronger unit to attack her unit from the back.

The enemies did not plan to eliminate them all here in the first place,

But they were thinking...

To push the red army in the same place first and finish them off at once!

“Damn it!” She cursed loudly. “Retreat. Hurry up and assemble with the front unit. We can’t fight here. They’re all melee attackers!”

She commanded fast, knowing that going to Tunwa’s unit would bring them disaster. But that was not going to be any worse than standing and fighting right here.

After they were given the order, the players in her unit started running forward to join the front unit quickly, even though they were followed by more than 20 enemies.

The dashing girl clenched her jaws tightly. She was not going to let her team die here that easily.

She thought, before drawing her bow at the sky and shooting a light arrow out instantly.

Rainy Shot!

It was the same skill that Maysa used. The arrow flew up and floated in the air for a second, before it split into more than 20 arrows, according to the number of enemies that were chasing after them.

In the blink of an eye, those arrows went straight to the enemies, accurately attacking them. Even though the skill did not kill them in one hit, it could still make them stunned and lose their positions anyway, and that was a chance for her unit to go to the front unit for support!

After seeing that many enemies were slowing down in chasing and killing her team, Nuchjaree let out a sigh. She was about to start running again, but,

“You’re the chief, right?”

A slowed voice of someone came from behind her, making Nuchjaree’s eyes widen. Her lips pressed together as a shiver ran up her spine and a drop of sweat trickled down her clear cheek.

“If so, then die...”

WHOOSH!

The sound of something going through the air went past her ear. The slender one leaped away from the attack coming from her back that left a wound on her neck!

Nuchjaree was widening her eyes out of shock. She knew from the first glimpse that the silver-haired man was not just a common player. He was wearing a large, hooded coat. She remembered the symbol on his chest so well. It was the symbol of a black rose with a thorny vine tangling around it, the symbol of the Cataral guild!

“Oh, you can dodge that. That’s why you’re a unit chief as well, huh.”

The silver-haired man said with a laugh in his voice.

“Let me introduce myself, I’m Jade, the chief of the intelligence unit of Cataral. Nice to meet you, gorgeous.”

He finished speaking and curled up a soft smile. There was a moderate size knife in each of his hands, they looked like the knives of an assassin with the blades extended above the handles.

He was one of the assassins...?

That was why he was in the intelligence unit though.

His movement speed was so fast that she could not sense him at all.

Nuchjaree thought calmly, while most of her teammates were out of the combat area now. Unlike her, she was still standing in the same spot as those who got attacked by the rainy shot starting getting up again like nothing had happened.

Worst, ...this situation was the worst.

“Aw, that’s too bad. I just introduced myself, and you’re not going to introduce yourself a bit? Where’s your manners?”

WHOOP!

Nuchjaree did not respond with words, but she managed to shoot a magic arrow at him fast. Jade was widening his eyes out of surprise because the speed of the attack was not ordinary at all. The death passed him by only a few inches away from his nose. Even though he could dodge the arrow in time, there was still a wound appearing clearly on the man’s cheek.

“You can dodge that,” Nuchjaree said, faking her voice to sound so sweet. “That’s why you’re a chief unit as well, right?”

After speaking, she put her palms out wide, making the other make a throaty laugh noise. However, it was clear that the vein in his temple was twitching now.

“Chief Jade.” One of his men said, gesturing like he was about to come and help.

“No. You guys go chase those creeps. I’ll deal with this woman myself.”

----------------

“Hey, what the hell? Why are these people suddenly getting stronger like this?!”

That voice was from Tunwa. His expression was clear that he was caught off guard. Now, the enemies who had been so weak since the beginning were increasing with an immense number of them. And they were surprisingly tougher!

“They’ve been waiting to ambush us?!”

“Crap. The first wave was just a decoy?”

Chaos and confusion started rising up among the red front unit because they had no idea where these immense enemies suddenly came from. Moreover, they were totally outnumbering the Nemesis guild.

“This is not good. We’re going to be surrounded like this.” Tunwa shouted. “Call the range unit in for support now.”

“They can’t, chief. The range unit is under attack from behind. They’re running to ask us for help, too!”

“What?!!”

Tunwa cried after blowing an enemy away from his face with his punch. Then he looked back and saw clearly that the range unit was in a tough situation as well, and now that they were running toward the front unit!

“Are they crazy? We will all be surrounded if they come here, too. This is...”

Tunwa paused there. He stood still as his eyes rolled to the area around him. And with just a quick glimpse, he knew right away that the table was about to turn.

“We didn’t see it coming, huh.”

----------------

“We’re surrounded now, right?”

Shin spoke up calmly. His eyes were watching the situation from afar and saw how well the enemies had been prepared. They purposely tricked their front unit to move forward, before they attacked the range unit from behind, pushing both units to the same area.

What was frustrating about this was that the enemies used low-ranked players as a decoy and kept those with higher levels in the back. After the blue force could separate the two units of the red force, the stronger players would come in and block all the escape routes.

“This is like...” Shin said.

“Shoot the fish in a barrel.”
