Chapter 325: Babysitter Part IV
Chapter 325: Babysitter Part IV
“There, there, hush now, honey, daddy’s here now, shhh.”
The beginner father did not hesitate to hold the little girl in his arms immediately. And when she saw that her Papa finally showed up, she then stopped screaming right away. She sobbed as she leaned in to cling onto his neck tightly.
The one who had just experienced the dizziness in his head, or “the buzzing” like Tunwa had to shake his head harshly, before picking his ears.
“My goodness. Just crying already makes this strong damage, what would happen if she actually growled?”
“Well, she would just be as scary as her mother.”
Wisana turned to speak with a completely wry face, rocking the little girl gently to calm her down.
“You said it would be fine, didn’t you? She screamed out like that just because she didn’t see you when she woke up. So, who would be able to take care of her when you’re out for the meeting in a few moments? And just so you know, I don’t get along well with kids, okay?”
“Let’s not talk about that right now.” Wisana snapped. “Anyway, why did you suddenly wake up, sweety? Daddy did the calculation, and you weren’t supposed to wake up until the next hour and a half, were you? So, who woke you up?”
Wisana pushed his daughter away slightly to ask, but it seemed like the little girl was not in the mood to be questioned, because she was still sobbing, rubbing her eyes. Meanwhile, Tunwa looked around the room, and he paused when his eyes caught something. And that was all to make him chuckle, shaking his head slightly.
“I know now who came in to wake your child,” Tunwa said amusedly.
“Who?”
“It’s her stepmother-to-be right here.”
After speaking, Tunwa tilted his chin to the other side of the room. Wisana’s eyes followed.
And then Wisana gasped after he saw some gorgeous girl lying with her eyes wide open on the floor. The one who seemed like she got attacked by the girl’s killer voice in a very close range as well.
“May!”
Wisana yelled out aloud, while the slim girl on the floor was smiling as her body was twitching.
“Oops, t ...the flower field is so pretty. Eh, is that my pass-away grandpa?”
“Hey, babe! Don’t leave me now. I don’t want to be a widow before we even get married.”

The chaos had been going on for about ten minutes as if there was Godzilla invading the Nemesis’ base violently. Until now, there were many injuries(?), who got attacked by the strongest super sonic boom wave and passed out together. And that caused a lot of work for the medical unit.
“I’ve never seen a curse this strong before.”
Miss Stella spoke up with frustration, while she was directing those male members to carry the injuries inside the medical unit’s tent, which barely had enough beds and they had to bring more from somewhere else.
“Just hearing the curse from far away can already get people passed out. So, what would happen if someone heard it from close range?”
The chief of the medical unit said in a weary voice, before holding her hand up to scratch the back of her neck. The blonde lady, who kept her hair in a tight bun with hairpins up to five pieces sticking in there, knitted her eyebrows together, making wriggles appear on her forehead. She glanced at the patients’ numbers that were suddenly crowded and got her unit fully occupied. Then, she sighed.
“Oh, my life’s just perfect.”
While the members of the medical unit outside were busy with the numbers of patients that got carried in for treatment, those chiefs of the Nemesis guild were sitting together in the living room of the guild’s office with a hard-to-read face on each one of them.
Especially the girl who was rubbing her head with the symptom called “dizzy buzzy” on the couch at the head of the table. Her light grey eyes were gazing at some man threateningly, making the other three men sitting nearby look at each other as they blinked awkwardly.
“Here you go, May. I’ve seen a curse like this for the first time as well, so, I really don’t know how to dispel it. But I think drinking some blue potion might help you with that.”
Waree walked into the room with an amused face. She managed to hand the bottle of curse dispel potion to Maysa, and she took it with a completely frowning face.
“Good that it was not a fatal curse, or it would have been a huge mess.”
The girl with emerald, green eyes said jokingly, before glancing at the little girl who was sitting on her troublesome Papa’s lap. She seemed to be enjoying the red stuffed dragon doll that was made to look like Lord Inferno with a bandage on its forehead, another best-seller merchandise from the Nemesis guild.
“Anyway, this little one here.”
After that, Waree walked straightly to the girl, before pinching her cheek out of endearment. And when the girl looked up and caught Waree’s eyes, she started smiling and laughing joyfully.
Seeing that, Waree’s eyes started sparkling, before she hurriedly held the girl up in her arms right away.
“Aw, you’re so cute. Na, it’s not fair that you’ve got to adopt another adorable baby again.”
Waree said and leaned in to snuggle with her, and that made the little one laugh adorably even more.
Manoch, who was sitting next to Wisana, caught eye with Maysa, knowing that these two siblings really got along so well with kids!
That girl was so tamed when Waree carried her up, huh? Maysa thought.
But when Maysa just woke her up a little, the girl almost blew the entire camp away with the scream.
This kid seemed like she could not get along with Maysa since they first met.
“Hey, Na, I can stay here and babysit this little one for you, you know. I’m fine with missing out on the major meeting in Dores.” Waree turned to give her brother a cheerful smile.
“Don’t be so slick, sassy one. You’re coming with me, no matter what. You can play with your niece any time when we get back.”
Wisana shook his head wearily in reply.
“Anyway, did you name her yet, bro?” Manoch asked.
“I did.” Wisana turned to him. “Mona Lisa.”
“Huh?”
Everyone else in the room said in unison as they turned to look at Wisana, the head of the Nemesis guild, who got them stunned with his weird sense of naming a child.
“Are you sure about that?” Tunwa who was sitting next to the other side of Wisana asked with a sour face.
“Heck yeah. I just came up with the name last night.”
“Isn’t the name a little bit too odd, Daddy?”
Maysa nagged at him, even though her face still slightly frowned.
“Why? You know, Mona Lisa is the name of a painting by Leonardo da Vinci, a famous artist in the Renaissance era. And it’s a portrait of a woman who had each part of her face referenced from the most beautiful women’s faces and blended them together until it turned out to be her, Mona Lisa. See? It’s a good name, guys.”
After he finished speaking, the father held his hand out to scratch under his daughter’s chin, making her laugh joyfully even more.
Meanwhile, the others, which were Tunwa, Manoch, and Maysa, only looked at each other, lost for words. But honestly, for Maysa, the Mona Lisa painting was so creepy that she would never name her child after it.
“Let’s move on from that for now. How are you going to deal with it?” Maysa cut right to the topic.
“With what, Babe?” Wisana turned to ask her.
“I’m talking about your daughter, Dad. I hope that you don’t forget the meeting that you have to attend in the next few hours in Dores. And I also hope that the dad who’s crazy about his latest daughter doesn’t think about carrying her all the way to the town as well.”
“Aw. No, I’m not taking her there with us.” Wisana scratched his face. “Wait, ...are you mad at me about something?”
