Chapter 293: Rhythm of the Moon Part II
Chapter 293: Rhythm of the Moon Part II
“Jinnie, what the hell is that?” Wisana asked his AI with a calm face.
“It’s called Dragon Killer. The monster is the type that mainly stealthily strikes. It’s also one of those monsters that most players aren’t interested in as well, because its skills are too crappy, the items that are dropped from it are crappy, and the quests that have it involved are also crappy, too. In conclusion, it’s even crappier than pixie dragons.”
Before Jinnie could finish speaking, it seemed like the monster had been attacked by the word crappy so many times that its HP might have gone down by half of the bar now. That was why it was shaking like that...
GEEE!
But finally, it raised those two sharp hands up high like it was threatening to attack these players in front of it just to get this over with.
“I’m not done talking to my AI. Don’t butt in.”
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Wisana just made a handgun and shot a small amount of magic out of his fingers at the ground near the feet of the monster. And that was already enough to make the dragon killer jump around. The green insect screeched out as the magic bullets hit it, sounding like it was begging him to stop shooting, before panting pathetically.
“You can’t be serious. This thing is a dragon, too?”
“Yes, Master. Even though it’s hard to admit it, this crappy one is one of those dragon-type monsters as well.”
The computer girl replied in a plain voice. So, a satisfied smile was brought across his attractive face. And the little sassy butt had been quiet for quite a while now, by the way.
So, he guessed that maybe the table might have turned.
“Aw, but that’s a dragon, and Miss Angie has stated that she doesn’t want me to torture this kind of monster anyway. So, I guess that we might have to just let it go.”
After hearing that, the one who was hiding behind him flinched.
“T ...this one is an exception. Just hurry up and take it down now!” She snapped loudly and that made Wisana smirk.
It seemed like she was afraid of mantises, and the one that they had was like a freaking gigantic mantis right here.
“Why did you say that, Miss Angie? You were just trying to stop me a while ago, but why did you take your words back so quickly like this?”
“D ...don’t tease me.” She bawled, looking like she could cry at any moment now. “Don’t be cruel toward anything else, but not the mantis. You can do whatever and however you want to this one but do something to make it stop staring in this direction already.”
“Is that how you ask other people for their help, little one?”
Wisana teasingly drawled his voice as he spread his lips out wide, and he just carelessly turned his back to the dragon killer just like that. The mantis was waiting for the enemy to get reckless anyway, so it took a chance to attack.
CHUNK!!
“I told you to not butt in when I’m not done speaking. I’ll tear you into pieces, if you do it again, okay?”
Wisana threatened it in a cold voice as a Katana sword flew right into the ground in front of the Dragon Killer’s feet, making it turn pale. After that, the monster hurriedly nodded in agreement as hard as its body allowed.
“So, what would you say if you wanted to ask someone for something?”
After keeping the monster in its line, Wisana turned back to Angela and squatted down in front of her carefreely with a saintly smile on his face that completely contrasted with a cold-blooded demon face he had a while ago!
“Stop bullying me!” She raised her voice, looking like she was about to throw a tantrum.
“What? You were kicking me nonstop, and you told me to stop bullying you?”
Wisana smiled softly like a mature person instructing a little kid, even though his mind was yelling,
It’s time for my revenge now, Brat!
“Okay, I’m sorry!!!”
The girl said loudly, as her knees almost gave it and fell to the ground because her ruby eye just caught the gigantic mantis again. And the one that was told to not butt in did not know what emotion from the enemies it should react to. One feared it to the guts, while the other was the one it started to fear of!
“And what do you say after saying sorry?” Wisana tilted his head to the side, acting all innocent.
“...Help ...p ...pleas...”
“What’s that? Big brother can’t hear you.”
“Please, I’m begging you, big brother, do something to get that thing away from here!!!”
Hearing that, Wisana nodded in satisfaction, unlike Angela who started crying. So, he patted this sassy kid’s head softly, feeling nice to know that she could express a childish emotion to him as well.
“Aw, I got it, since you’re being so cute to me.”
After that, those amber eyes glanced at the dragon killer intently. And that made the mantis-looking monster flinch and sweat as it felt the cold rushing up when the man in front of him gave it a cunning smile.
“It’s time to squeeze your tears out, you big mantis. Do you know that there’s a popular fried insect store in Silom, and I’ve always wanted to find some ingredients to cook like them for so long? So, be my assistant with that, Jinnie.”
“Yes, Master.”
After he finished speaking, Wisana straightened his hands, making a cracking sound as he did so. And the unfortunate dragon killer could only stand there and tremble because its legs were too stiff to run now!
----------------
GEEE!
The ear-hurting screech was heard throughout the area. It was torture to hear that it made small birds and even those pixie dragons run away from there within a minute.
“Did it come out yet, Jinnie?” Wisana asked in an excited voice.
“Not yet, Master.” As well as the computer code girl that sounded excited just as much.
GEEEEZ!!!
Seeing the seriousness on the faces of the two, the poor-luck monster screamed out of terror even more.
Its two legs were now crossed and locked into a four number with Wisana’s body forcing it into this position beneath the monster. This was one of the wrestling moves called “figure four leg lock,” a great move to torture the enemy in the legs!
“I told you to cry, and why are you still not crying, you jerk?! Or should I use the Sharpshooter instead, huh? I can easily break your fucking back with that, you know?” He threatened it more when he got the chance.
GEEE!!
The Dragon Killer could only scream out resoundingly. If it could speak human language, it’d probably have said, ‘I give up, dude’ by now because it was already waving its two hands like a white flag.
“Oh! Here it comes, Master.”
Jinnie said while she was floating in the air in the position of laying on her chest and checking on the monster’s condition as those wrestling stage referees did. And now, the AI girl started to see a hint of a clear spark in those yellow eyes.
“The tube is in the inventory. Hurry up and take it out.”
