Chapter 291: Tear Drop, Moon Warter, and Dragon Egg Part IV

“Then why are you giving me a quest to take a dragon egg anyway, huh, this jackass!!”

How Wisana was frustrated made Lex burst out another laugh.

“It’s been our class quest since the first generation. I didn’t apply or change the quest items at all. Also, if you fail this quest, you won’t be qualified to do the final quest as well, because you need these items in the final test.”

Wisana could only make a displeased noise out of his nose, feeling all frustrated somehow.

He would not have any problem if these words came out of someone else’s mouth. But when it was this guy who said it, these words sounded provoking to his ears!

“So, these are all I need to find?”

He said sarcastically, feeling annoyed that every item had many conditions and hidden clues to solve before he could get them. First, he needed to find a way to get the tear out of a dragon. Second, how to get that moon water, and finally, how he would get a dragon egg!

“Yes.” Lex smiled widely. “Oh, about the dragon egg, it can be from any dragon’s kind.”

“Yeah, sure, like that makes a lot of difference!”

Hearing the sarcasm in the other’s voice, Lex nodded with a smile in reply.

“Also, after you complete the finding items quest, use the dragon flare I gave you.”

Lex said as he grabbed another flare from Thong Yod.

“Dragon flares are used for traveling to different places in the blink of an eye. And how to prepare is so simple. You just have to turn the cap at the bottom right here.” He explained, pointing at the spot he was mentioning. “Then you pull the pin out. And within 3 seconds, you have to say the name of the place you want to go. After that, the flare will teleport you there.”

Wisana nodded, feeling impressed as he turned the grenade he just got to look around. He was surprised that there was this good tier item in the game as well because he had never seen something similar to this one in any market before.

But it might already be a good thing that the dragon master class did not make it for sale, or those transportation companies would have been broken surely!

“So, you want me to get back here after this?” Wisana asked out of curiosity.

“No. After you pull the grenade’s pin out, you have to say, “Light of the dawn,” and it will take you to me. And we’ll be discussing the final quest together, okay?”

“Light of the dawn? Is that some kind of secret code for teleporting to you?”

“Oh, no, it’s not. That’s the name of my dragon farm.”

He answered so proudly that it almost made the listener fall face down on the table.

Bro, ...couldn’t you like, come up with a more creative name? Why’d you have to make it sound so corny like that?!!

“And this is Drago Hild’s map, just in case you didn’t buy it from the association of explorers already.”

Wisana took that roll of paper from Lex. And right after he unrolled it, this map disappeared in his hands and showed up on his information window instantly. Jinnie had downloaded that item with a speed that was totally different from when she was grade D AI.

The pair of golden-brown eyes looked at the image in front of them consideringly with Angela trying to lean closer to look at it as well.

The map’s structure was quite rough, it could be level 3 to be guessing. It only showed locations and routes briefly. There was no information about where the NCPs were, or information about the monster that possibly wandered around the place.

“The map is not so detailed, but it’s better than nothing anyway. So, that’s all I need to know? What about the time limit for the quest?”

It was silent...

And silent...

Wisana asked without looking at the other’s face because he was reading the map he just got. And when after a while, he still did not get a response from the irritating one, those amber eyes looked up and saw that the chair from the opposite side of the table was now empty!

“TCH! This guy really showed up and suddenly just took off. So annoying.”

He said wearily and shut the map window down with a ‘whoop’ sound. He leaned against the chair as he threw the items he got for the quests in his inventory with irritation. But when he reached for his glazed plate and saw that the cake on it was gone. Wisana widened his eyes immediately.

“Angie! Who said you could eat my cake?!!!”

Wisana yelled resoundingly, while he was looking at the stain of cake on the plate. Then he turned to sneer at this little gluttonous with a threatening face.

“Well, I thought you didn’t want that piece, so I took care of it for you. Thank me later for that.”

“You brat!”

The older one bawled loudly. The fact was that he was just pretending that he did not care about the cake, so he could save it to eat later after the man left. Because if he ate it in front of the man, Lex probably got fluttered and continued bragging about it surely!!

Come on, it looked so yummy.

“Well, you shouldn’t have hesitated too long, you know.”

No, his cake getting stolen was not bad enough, because there was this thief still having the guts to teach him about it like this!! ARGGGH!!

This time, the blood veins on Wisana’s brain twitched, making his skull hurt somehow. Why was today full of nerve-wreckers coming into his life nonstop?!!

He could only feel defeated for less than a minute when the sound like an alien screaming and drooling was heard, making Wisana smash his face down on the table. Angela only looked at him confusedly, before her curiosity was answered by the announcement of Jinnie.

“Player Wisana is in a hungry condition right now. I suggest you hurry up and find some food to eat, or there will be other conditions following later.”

“Oh, so that noise just now?” Angela pretended to speak up to herself.

“A-HEM! So, we’re going to the brutal dungeon after this anyway. I think eating something to restore our energy first sounds good, right?”

The attractive face had a slight tint of red as he spoke. And that made Angela cover her mouth to hide her giggling. She had to admit that this was the first time this man looked more adorable than usual.

“What do you want to eat, sassy one?” he asked, avoiding her eyes a little.

“I want one like we had the other day ago. The one that has rice noodles, dry shrimps, some peanuts, sprouts, and tofu.”

Wisana let out a sigh, before standing up straightly.

“So, Pad Thai it is.”

He said and opened the inventory window up to grab a yellow apron with the Nemesis guild logo on it out. He put it on, and this cute thing upgraded the adorableness of this irritating man by two, making Angela laugh once more.

“What’s so funny, huh?!” He snapped with a heat on his face.

“No, there’s nothing funny at all.” She said, turning her face in another direction. “Anyway, you’re not going to start cooking soon? You have to complete the quests and hurry back to the Nemesis camp, don’t you?”

Hearing that, the cook made a sound out of his throat that sounded like tch!

“Yeah, yeah, give me ten minutes. Jinnie, help me prepare the ingredients, too. Bring out a cooking pan, vegetable oil, rice noodles, dried shrimps, sprouts, peanuts, tofu, and those seasonings, please.”

“Yes, Master.”

A reply with a sweet voice and giggling came up right away. Until now, Wisana tried to think that everything that had happened was uncontrollable since Maysa refused to come with him. But anyway, let’s have some nice food before going into the battle for now.

He hoped that this frustrated feeling was because of a hungry-anger thing.

And he would feel better after he ate something. So, he could complete these stupid quests and get back to being around normal people again. After this, he would be able to go back to his baby and plead with her all he wanted!!

While the urgent party had decided to cook and eat some food before they started the second mission of his class quest, a pair of sharp eyes appeared in a dark spot and stared right at the two players thirstily like a beast targeting to kill its prey.

That strange creature was crouching down on the ground, before opening its wide mouth that was full of sharp fangs slowly with disgusting saliva dripping out.

That was like a silent scream as a warning to everything around that there was a danger creeping closer.
