Chapter 285: Battle and The Mist Part III
Chapter 285: Battle and The Mist Part III
Sigh! ...Jinnie really could not see how their ages were different though (especially, their mental ages.)
Before they realized what they were doing, the two had run to the office already. After their feet stepped on the stone floor, both were panting. Only Jinnie was still smiling amusedly, while she was floating behind her master.
The tall man took a deep breath in his lungs, trying to catch his breath, while the smaller one squatted down on the floor because her legs were tired from running. But above everything, they regretted that they did something so silly like that.
“Let’s make a peace pact for a while, okay?” Wisana was the one who grudgingly asked.
“A peace pact, indeed.”
Then they both shook hands to confirm the temporary peace pact, before taking a deep breath once more and standing up straight together.
“So, we’ve arrived at the class office now, right?”
Angela repeated. She looked around consideringly, and then those ruby-colored eyes turned to the one beside her, waiting for the answer.
Wisana was not sure if this was the place that he was looking for either. Because he had seen this place from a far distance earlier, he thought that this building might be the office of the Dragon Master.
But if this was it, there should be an NCP welcoming him inside to give him a class quest already, right? But why was this place full of ruins?!
The building he saw from afar a moment ago was just a remnant of the building. Around the place, there was a small stream with something that used to be a fountain in the middle of it. The grass was tall, showing that this place had not been taken care of for a long time.
“Is this really the place, Jinnie? I think no fools would set up an office in such a place, right?”
The man said with a thinking face. He tried to find any being here as well, but the only things he saw were pieces of concrete walls or a Roman-style building that was broken in half. The walkway looked all shabby with the tiles that were rough, dirty, and broken into pieces.
“We came to the wrong place?” Angie asked again.
“No, we didn’t,” Jinnie replied as she opened an information window up for both of them to see. “From the information I got from the class registration office, this is definitely where the Dragon Master office is located. Anyway, I’m rechecking the information again just to make sure.”
“Yeah, thank you.”
He said before glancing around the place cautiously. Despite the fact that the fog was completely gone, the temperature in the area was still cold, which was why Angela and he did not drop any sweat, even though they ran all the way here.
“This is too strange,” Wisana said with a whispering voice.
His instinct was alarming him instantly that there was something unusual about this place. First, there were no living things here. And he had learned that the area with no one in it was a dangerous place!
“You feel it too, don’t you?” The little girl beside him asked in a stressed voice.
“Yeah,” Wisana replied briefly, before glancing at Jinnie. “What’s up, Jinnie? Is it here?”
“Yes, it is, exactly on this spot. This is the place where the class registration office told us to come.”
Hearing that, the man took a deep breath, before turning to nod at his companion.
“I think we have to look for something since the office insisted like that. Be careful though. It can be anything coming out here.” He said, looking at Jinnie. “Let’s get back for now, Jinnie. Just support me from inside.”
“Yes.”
After her word, the slime figure turned into sparkling dust with a “Bink!” sound right away, leaving only the two players who nodded at each other as a sign to continue searching. Wisana chose to walk down the small street that led to the building. He thought that if there was an NPC who stayed to give out the class quest, they should be in there.
“Why does it have to be so troublesome every time I do a class quest?” He said tiredly as he climbed up the building’s ruins.
“I think it’s more like the trouble comes out from you though,” Angela replied, sounding just as tired.
“What’s happened to the peace pact now, brat?”
“Oh, my goodness, I forgot. I apologize.”
She made a guilty voice that he knew right away that it was fake. So, Wisana made a snorting sound in reply. Finally, the man stopped on the floor in the middle of the ruins, and that was where they both paused.
Two different-colored pairs of eyes looked around cautiously before Wisana curled up a big smile.
“Those backbiters, huh? I hate them so much.”
“How many are there?” She asked.
“Probably four.”
The little girl let out a soft sigh as she tightened her grip around the scepter in her hand. At the same time, Wisana spread red magic particles all over him.
“We can share two for each, then!!!”
BOOM!!!
Right after her words, the enemies appeared out of the dirt floor. They had bodies like humans, but their faces were longer and slimmer. Moreover, they were holding daggers like those assassins as well. They were wearing light armor while the rest of their bodies were covered with torn-out white strips, revealing only their red glowing eyes and wide-open, drooling mouths.
Seeing them like that, Wisana raised his eyebrows right away.
These things...!

“Mummy assassin? How are the monsters from the ancestor cemetery dungeon here anyway?”
“Why don’t you go ask them? Maybe they’d answer!”
CRASH!!
A second later, one of the mummy monsters leaped up and let itself down to swing its weapon at them quickly, making the two jump away in different directions.
“Angie!”
“I’m fine. I can handle myself.”
Even though that was what she said, Wisana still could not stop being worried. Because Angie was a mage, not a warrior like him. So, these melee attack enemies were not really a good match for her at all.
He thought, clenching his jaws tightly as he looked at the enemies that were moving closer to kill him!
“Fine, if you really want it, I’ll bring it to you!”
Brasga, Symbol of Fire
Suddenly, there were magic symbols appearing behind his back. The symbols were swirling in together, before blasting up into a large flame, with some part of it curling into a strange figure. At the same time, his feet were blazing with flames!
WHOOSH!
The weapon of the mummy assassin only cut into the empty air, because right now, Wisana’s body was nowhere to be found, leaving only the fire sparks spreading in the air. The monster paused when it realized that its attack missed, but before it knew that...
“Right here, bandage face.”
The man who now had red-like fire eyes was standing behind it already. This was not the jumper, or any kind of teleporting skill. It was just pure speed movement that was increased by magic. Until now, the red-light line was still seen in the middle of the air, showing the path that he went through at his fast speed like a rocket.
Without wasting any more time, he summoned a fire out on his rough hand and threw it at the enemy’s back with full force, making it bounce many lengths forward.
At that blink, Wisana rushed in to wait in front of the enemy as fast as usual.
Then he kicked the enemy up, making it float in the air for a second, before changing his fighting techniques to hold its head and crashing it down on the ground harshly, punching a big hole in the ground with it!!!
CRASH!!!
432,740!
And that was enough to make the mummy lie still there.
“TCH! It’s still not dead? I should have hit it once more.”
GEE!!
