Chapter 272: Coming Home Part III

Chapter 272: Coming Home Part III

“You’re so nonsense, silly!”

Then the girls giggled as they walked ahead of Wisana, making the man smile widely. After seeing that they got more relaxed, he took out his phone again and contacted someone.

Around ten minutes later, Wisana brought all his friends out of the airport of Chiang Mai successfully to where a well-dressed middle-aged man was waiting to pick them up. After the introduction, they knew him as the chief of the workers on the farm named Uncle Pairoch, who was close to Miss Wimon and Wisana had always seen him around since he was a kid.

“You’ve all grown up, Na. I still can’t believe that you’re the one who played around the farm with Petch decades ago.”

Uncle Pairoch was a moderately sized man, not so tall but not short either. He had a kind face with hair that was a little bit too thin. However, he seemed like he did not care about it that much, obviously from how he slicked his hair back and exposed his forehead out wide.

Everyone put their palms together to greet him politely. Even though he was one of mom’s workers and he was supposed to be his worker as well, Wisana still respects this man like one of his relatives anyway.”

“Is Dah and my brother-in-law here yet?” Wisana asked politely.

“UGH, they’ve arrived since last night, and started yelling as usual.”

Wisana amusedly laughed.

“Hello, Nuch, Tunwa, Thanks two of you for being with us at your adoptive mom’s birthday party this year.” Uncle Pairoch turned to greet the two kids as they put their luggage in the back of the car.

“Well, it’s mom Wimon’s birthday day. How could we miss it?” Nuchjaree smiled widely.

“Yeah, to meet our beautiful mom, free food, and gorgeous Chiang Mai girls, it’d be such a shame to miss this trip, Uncle Pairoch.” Tunwa winked at him.

Those delighted voices made the older one laugh out of satisfaction, before gathering the kids in the Toyota Fortuner car that was large enough to have the seats for everyone.

The trip from the airport to Wisana’s house took about 30 minutes. And along the way, Maysa seemed to have the toughest role, because Uncle Pairoch was interested to hear about her, especially as the first girlfriend of his boss. So, she was asked a lot of questions and the one that made everyone laugh was when she would become a new mother of Wimon’s strawberry farm. And it made the girl stunned for a long moment with Wisana sneakily tagging the uncle’s hand to thank him for bringing this up.

And not long after that, they arrived at a strawberry farm called ‘Waleerak.’

The plain and simple name sign appeared in front of everyone’s eyes. Behind it, there was a big house that was almost as large as a mansion house. It was a strange-looking building that had a glass house the size as large as the house attached to it. How magnificent it was made Waree and Maysa gasp out of amazement.

There were many people walking around. Some of them were wearing aprons that had a logo of the farm on them. Some were in dirty clothes that were known with just a quick glance that they were farmers that had just gotten back from taking care of the strawberries on the farm.

“That’s our strawberry processing house. It was built two years ago and has been giving us quite a lot of profit.”

Those light grey eyes of Maysa glanced at a building in the distance that was built of wood so that it somehow looked like a European church.

“And that glass house is mine,” Wisana said, pointing at the glass house.

“Yours? What do you plant in it?”

“It’s to grow roses. It happens that I was interested in roses when I was younger, so I tried growing a couple of species of them. And that turned out to be our new product that got our customers’ attention.”

“That’s true, Miss May. The species that Na grew are very popular here in Chiang Mai, especially the white rose Mysty More. There’re many orders for them in the way that they don’t grow fast enough, because Na’s roses don’t have thorns, and they also smell so nice.”

Hearing that, everyone looked at the glass house on a corner of the farm. Nuchjaree and Tunwa had known about this already, so they did not care about this that much, unlike Maysa and Waree who widened their eyes. They could not believe their eyes and ears that every rose in the glass house was grown by someone close to them who was only obsessed with his art all day long!

“Na’s a genius.” Uncle Pairoch said after he saw the girls’ faces through the rare mirror. “Since he was a kid, he’s always done something unexpected for us to see, winning some art contests, winning taekwondo, or inventing a new kind of rose at the age of 14. And today, he just did it again by bringing such a cute girlfriend with a nice personality to our farm.”

Maysa blushed at the last sentence while Wisana was laughing happily.

“Don’t flutter me, Uncle Pairoch.”

“Well, I only speak the truth.”

And then, the older one joined him in laughing, leaving Maysa and Waree to look at each other as they blinked confusedly.

After that, the Fortuner of Uncle Pairoch stopped in front of the largest house on the farm smoothly. The four doors swung open as everyone got out of the car. Uncle Pairoch opened the back door to load their luggage out, while Wisana was stretching.

Tunwa’s legs seemed to stop shaking now, so he went to help the uncle as Nuchjaree had fun talking to Waree. She said that the weather would get cold at night, but the sky at that time would be so pretty as well. So, the girls decided that they definitely had to camp outside under the moonlight someday during this trip in Chiang Mai!

After Maysa got out of the car and looked around, she noticed that this area was for residential only, because there were not any workers here, as if it was a forbidden area or something.

She was not sure how to put this into words. But Wisana’s house looked more like a golf course, and where she was standing there was like a clubhouse. She guessed that in the back of the house would be a 400-acre strawberry field that her boyfriend had bragged about for sure.

A nice chill wind of a cold city blew past the sweet, gorgeous face, making her black hair wave a little so that she had to get it in place with a smile.

“My boy!”

While they were enjoying nature, there was a shout cutting in, making everyone jump. At the front door of the big house, there was a sound of heavy footsteps, followed by a chubby lady who was stomping her feet toward them. Uncle Pairoch made a wry face.

“Come on, Mom Yoii, be careful, ...Ugh!!!”

He did not finish his sentence, because that woman had thrown herself at Wisana with full force, and even someone with a strong body like him almost fell back.

After her chubby arms were satisfied from hugging him, she started pulling the young man’s face to kiss both of his cheeks. And Uncle Pairoch could only let out a dry laugh at that.

“Honey, stop being over-excited. He’s probably too tired from traveling to have any strength left to struggle with you.”

“Honey, just let me be.” She turned goggles at him, before turning to give Wisana a bright smile.

“There, let me see you. Aw, I haven’t seen you in only a while, but you’ve got this much handsome? It’s been a long time since you moved out. And it feels like forever before you come back to visit once in a while. Don’t you know that our farm is getting a lot quieter while you are gone?”
