Chapter 265: Our 4 Months Together Part III

Chapter 265: Our 4 Months Together Part III

“HAHAHA. ...I, I can’t breathe. HAHAHAHA. You did it again, Na. It’s always you. BUHHAHAHA.”

After the trio got inside the elevator, the two best friends burst out a loud laugh at the same time, especially Nuchjaree, who was patting her friend’s shoulder who could not find a reason to laugh at this time.

“That wasn’t funny, you two.” The one who was getting made fun of said through gritted teeth.

“Yes, that was what I call hilarious. Why couldn’t I guess my exam right like I guessed that you would get hit on, too? I want this kind of accuracy on something else!”

Nuchjaree laughed out loud, while Tunwa was curling his stomach up because he was shaking from laughing too much until it got his ribs shaking.

“It was like a brisket and a hyena. Handing it to 100 of them, and everyone will eat it. Na, you’re the best bait to attract all girls. Totally!”

The one who got laughed at could only clench his jaws because he really could not find any words to argue with that at all. It was always like this since when he could remember. Most girls would always get attracted to him in such a scary way. So, instead of being proud of it, he was stressed out somehow!

PING!!

It took one moment before the elevator notified them that they had arrived on their floor with a ping sound and the digital number that said 18 for them to see.

“We’re here. Now stop laughing already, jerks.” Wisana complained out of frustration, making his friends caress his head as they made the aw sound in the most annoying way.

The three walked out of the elevator and then continued in a small hallway that had many doors to the office rooms on the right side. And to the left, it was a glass wall that could be seen right through to a huge room inside it that looked like a factory of something.

The height of the room took up about 5 floors, from the 15th floor to the 20th floor. So, from the 18th floor, they were right in the middle of the room’s height. Wisana looked down at that hall with an amazed face, but he did not say anything. Every time he went to the building, this was the only place that he had to stop and observe.

The decoration inside the room made it look like a science experiment room with many computers and cable cords wired up everywhere. Also, there was a weird-looking machine in the middle of the room, looking like a huge pole with a lot of electronic devices attached to it.

Wisana had a feeling that the room was the heart of Pride and the pole of the main energy somehow.

“It reminds me of some NASA things every time I see the room.”

Tunwa who was walking in the front spoke up, while he was rubbing his hands together because the temperature on the 18th floor was quite cold.

“Totally. And if the staff in the room are dressed up with PPE suits, I would think this was some biological weapon factory for sure.”

Nuchjaree said while she was pulling on Wisana’s shirt, making the listener slip out a laugh and shake his head slightly in reply.

“You two really watch too many movies.”

Both turned to give him a dry laugh before they all kept walking. Finally, they got to the far end of the hallway, which was the room that took up the most space on the 18th floor. Behind this brown wooden door was the workplace of an art director, and there was a remarkable sign on it, saying, Department Manager, Marisa Rattanasila.

"Miss Marisa is not here yet, so, should we wait here, or inside the room?” Nuchjaree asked for the opinion after her eyes caught a couch by the door of the room.

"I think we should wait here,” Wisana said. “So, we don’t disturb people inside.”

After someone made the decision, the other two took a seat on the couch quickly, then they annoyingly wiggled their eyebrows at the only one left standing, because the couch only fit two.

Wisana did not get the chance to complain about this, because Nuchjaree’s phone rang up. The slim one hurriedly reached her hand inside her cross bag, before grabbing her phone up and pressing the answer fast.

“Hi.”

The girl spoke on the device, and it took her a second before she raised her eyebrows a little and handed the phone to Wisana.

“What?”

“Your honey asks to talk to you.”

“Huh?” Wisana raised his eyebrows.

“It’s Orn.”

Hearing the name of that pretty girl, a big smile came across his face as Nuchjaree turned to wriggle her eyebrow with Tunwa instantly. And in the meantime, Wisana took the phone and pressed it in his ear right away.

“Hello, honey.” He said and then smiled even more. “Oh, yeah, sorry. I had my phone on mute during the exam and forgot to turn the sound back on, so I didn’t know you called.”

After speaking, the cheeky one took a seat on the armrest beside Nuchjaree with a smiley face.

It was obvious that the relationship between Warunya and him had improved a lot from before. After they opened up to each other through that talk, Wisana did not get awkward around her anymore. He could now have a conversation with her naturally, a bit too naturally that the observer like Nuchjaree wanted to hit him in the head for once!

“Now? I’m at Dad’s office. Uh, we’re here about the intern stuff. Uh-huh, uh-huh.” He said, then placed a hand on Nuchjaree’s shoulder, making her stare at him judgingly. “Really?!! God, I’m so glad. This is great news, Orn.”

Suddenly, Wisana shouted loudly, making the other two flinch a little. But they had not yet to complain when Nuchjaree heard the sound of something hitting the polished stone floor, making them look toward it. And after the image got in her sight, the fearless girl dropped her jaw.

“Orn, you’re really sweet. I don’t know how to thank you enough, honey.”

While Wisana was talking on the phone with a happy face, Nuchjaree started poking on her friend’s shoulder to get his attention.

“Na.”

“Not right now, Nuch. I’m talking. ...Yeah, sure, in two weeks is fine, anytime is fine, Honey.”

“Hey.”

“Quit it, Nuch.” Wisana pushed his friend’s hand away.

“Na, stop talking. You have a problem.”

“What? I’m in the middle of something here, ...oof!!!”

The happy manner just now was completely gone when the pair of amber eyes looked back as his mouth was about to scold his friend a bit. However, he had to swallow those burning words back down in his throat after he saw a pair of newcomers who were standing not far away from him.

And he did not know how long they had been listening to the conversation between Warunya and him!

“I’ve been trying to warn you, Na.”

Wisana was speechless, typically.

The newcomers were both women. One of them was a grown-up with the age around 30-35 years old, while the other was a teenager who today tied her hair up in a ponytail, looking so cute. However, her light grey big round eyes were sending a dangerous sign out, making the one who saw it gulp down nervously.

“Er, hon... I mean, Orn, I’ll call you back later, okay? W ...well, there’s a bit of a problem here.”

Wisana hurriedly spoke through the phone, before tossing it to Nuchjaree like it was hot. Unlike Tunwa, he was shaking from holding in a laugh again. Of course, the one who was being stared at stood up without waiting any longer, as well as the other two. Wisana tried to avoid those grey eyes and chose to press his palms together in a greeting gesture to other women instead.

“H ...hello, Miss Marisa.”
