Chapter 264: Our 4 Months Together Part II

Chapter 264: Our 4 Months Together Part II

“Anyway, have you checked out the plane ticket yet?” After realizing this, the only girl in the group asked.

“I did. Ready to book any time.” Wisana answered.

“Nice. We haven’t visited your mother for a while. How has she been doing?”

Tunwa spoke up as well, making Wisana frown instantly.

“She’s been doing great. A couple of days ago, Misses Yoii called and told me that she climbed up on the roof to fix it by herself, and she almost fell from there. ...Like, I’ve never seen her acting like a mother at all. She looks more like one of my sisters.”

“It’s good to have a mother who is so young.”

“How? Because of her forever young behavior that gives me headaches. A couple of months ago, there was a sheik from Dubai flirting with her, and that guy seemed very serious about it as well. He said he would propose to her and asked her to move there with him just like that.”

“What, for real?!” The other two shouted in unison.

“Yeah. I’ve never met that guy, but Naat said that he was dreamingly handsome. Good that Mom rejected him. She even used such a cheesy excuse that almost made me vomit the first time I heard it.”

“What did she say?”

“I’m not ready for love again. My old wound is still cut deep in my heart, and it never heals.”

Wisana faked his voice to reply. He started the car as he gestured like he was vomiting.

“I don’t know what kind of drama Misses Wimon had cited the line from, but something that was sure, that sheik believed her. And he also replied to her with just as cheesy line saying, ‘It’s okay. I’ll wait until you’re ready to love again because my heart is kept for you only.’ I’m going crazy!”

Listening to that, his two best friends let out a dry laugh.

“Didn’t know his country has this kind of cheesy drama lines as well,” Nuchjaree said with a soft voice.

“I’m afraid that wasn’t just a line in a drama though.” Wisana sighed out loudly.

“It’s such a shame. The one that’s interested in your mom is a sheik. You wouldn’t have to work anymore in your whole life if they actually got married. Don’t you think it’s good... UHG!!”

Tunwa did not finish his sentence, because Wisana hit him right in Adam’s apple by the edge of his hand, making the one who was being a leak-mouthed cough and choke badly.

“Let’s stop talking about this. I’m not fond of that, A sheik or not, I won’t allow anyone to have my mother at all. So, if you two still want to come with me, then enough with this topic.”

“Y ...you ...are the one who started the topic ...though.”

The other one still tried to argue, even though it was difficult for him to say a word right now. However, Tunwa grudgingly agreed to shut up after he caught the fierce eyes of his best friend.

So, those green eyes of his rolled to the girl in the back seat, while he was raising his eyebrows at her in their secret code of saying,

What an ungrown possessive son!!

Pride Trading Cooperation office was a 35-floor building, located in the middle of Tong Lor area. This tall sky building was built with modern technology, for example, these brand-new invented glass windows that could decrease the UV from the sunlight that reflected on the glass. That could help keep the inside of the building cool from the brutally hot weather in Thailand.

On the ceiling floor of the building, there were many large-sized satellite dishes that other people around were not quite pleased to have here for many reasons. First, there was a chance that some of the dishes would fall onto the houses and other buildings around when there was a large storm passing through. With their size, thinking about this scenario already got a shiver down people’s spines. For the second reason, these dishes transmitted such a strong frequency all the time. If there was a house around here that did not have a cable dish that was not from one of Pride group’s companies, then they could not expect to watch TV in peace.

At the moment, the tall man with his trainee-to-be companions had already gotten inside the building and they were waiting calmly in front of the reception counter.

“Who are you visiting?”

the receptionist asked with the sweetest voice and sparkling eyes that were staring at Wisana’s face. And that made Tunwa and Nuchjaree raise their eyebrows a little as they looked at the good-looking one who was making an awkward face between them.

“My name’s Wisana. And we have an appointment with Miss Marisa, the art department manager.”

“Okay.”

Even though she acknowledged this, the receptionist still did not move to hold up that telephone to contact anyone that they were already here at all. She just kept staring at Wisana’s face with a dreamy expression.

And that made the one who had three times stronger pheromones than the others rub his temple softly.

“Er, ...we’re here to meet with Miss Marisa.”

“Sure, hold on, so handsome.”

“Yes?” Wisana repeated softly, getting her consciousness back again,

“Oops, I mean!” Then she hurriedly tilted her head down shyly, before picking the telephone up. “I’m notifying her right now. Please wait a moment, Mister Wisana.”

The trio caught each other’s eyes for a second as Wisana made a sour face a couple of times, getting fed up with his own pheromones somehow that it did not choose the time and the place to be active. Meanwhile, there was no need to guess that Tunwa and Nuchjaree were probably trying their best to not crack up, or they would have been rolling down on the floor laughing by now.

One moment later, the receptionist placed the telephone back down, and then she looked up and smiled at Wisana with the best smile she ever could.

“Miss Marisa is not in her room right now, but she said that you three can wait for her there, on the 18th floor.”

Hearing that, Wisana nodded politely in acknowledgment. And of course, he was trying to keep his face as straight as possible before he did not want to be rude to her.

But when he was about to leave the counter, a soft hand of hers grabbed right around his wrist first.

“Yes?” Wisana smiled wryly as he looked back at her.

“Well, Mister Wisana, right? If you have trouble with the directions, I can guide you to the art department as well, you know.”

The man raised his eyebrows like he was dazed, even though this was not the first time he got hit on so straightforwardly by a woman before.

“Uh... it’s okay, Miss, Thank you. I think I can get there just fine. Also...” Then the cheeky one put his arm around Nuchjaree’s shoulders. “Staying here for too long will get my girlfriend upset. She’s kind of the type that is crazily jealous.”

Nuchjaree made a confused face for a second, before changing her expression as fast as Wisana putting on his good-mood smile. She hurriedly hugged her fake boyfriend’s arm and tilted her chin up with jealous eyes at that staff.

“Let’s go, Honey. My hands started itching somehow now.”

“Come on, babe. Calm down. Anyway, thank you so much for your help. I’ll get going now.”

After that, the tall man walked away with his friend clinging around his arm, followed by Tunwa who was curling like a shrimp, in order to hold in his laughter.

Leaving only the receptionist girl who was gasping there.

“Come on! Why is a good-looking guy so hard to find? This one is already taken again!!”
