Chapter 244: Strike Back! Part VI
Chapter 244: Strike Back! Part VI
“I thought I would find you getting beaten black and blue, but you just punched a hole in the town instead.”
“I still need to work on my power control, so Master told me not to use this skill yet. But just like you saw it, that area of the town was blown away. I just hope that those GMs won’t come at me though.”
He said, scratching his face out of embarrassment. And that made Maysa laugh amusedly.
“Anyway, how did you survive without a scratch like this? ...Even though it was your own attack, there must be some effect on the user anyway. But you don’t seem to be wounded at all.”
“Well, I was beaten black and blue just like you said actually.” Wisana forced a wry smile out.
“Huh?”
“I was in a coma after the fight. My HP was less than a hundred, because of, like you said, the collateral damage from my own ultimate skill. This skill also sucked all my MP out of the bar. So, I got knocked out eventually.”
After speaking, he grinned widely like he was telling a fun story. Maysa later checked through the body of the person in front of her, she could now be assured that he really was not wounded anywhere at all.
“How did you get out of the coma then?”
“Someone healed me.”
He said and winked at Maysa, making her raise her eyebrows.
“Who?”
“It was me, Miss Maysa.”
Suddenly, there was a sweet, familiar voice of someone speaking up, making Maysa pause right away. She glanced at Wisana because the voice was coming from there. And after she took a better look, she started to see a dazzling light appearing slowly beside the man.
A few seconds later, there was a girl appearing out of the light like a soul. Her gorgeous, curly light blue hair was let down beside her pretty cheeks and smooth shoulders. Her eyes were vividly indigo like a south ocean and sparkling with delight. And her sweet smile was so attractive to the eyes that it was hard to look away from her. She was in a white, knee-length dress that people would instantly think she was an angel at the first glance of her.
“Er, ...you are?”
Maysa pointed at the newcomer girl who did not look familiar to her at all.
“Don’t be surprised.” The delighted voice rang. “I’ve already been upgraded to A rank. Even though this is not the highest rank, I can still appear to facilitate my master in the form of a living spirit.”
“Living spirit?”
Then Maysa raised her eyebrows as she repeated the words, and she was pointing at Wisana as well.
The brilliant brain processed the situation in front of her in the blink of an eye before she made a brief conclusion that this girl could not be anyone else but the sweet-voiced AI. And now she had got her own figure that was beautiful like an angel!
“Jinnie?!”
“Yes, Miss Maysa. I’m so glad that you can still recognize me. No, actually, I have to say that I’m so glad that we finally met in person for the first time.”
After speaking, the gorgeous girl picked up the hem of her white dress and stooped down politely, even though her feet were above the ground.
“I don’t want to be too straightforward like this, but you’re so beautiful that it left me dumbfounded, Jinnie.”
“You’re overcomplimenting me.”
“And you seem to have a nice personality, too.” She said with a wry smile.
This is just perfect!
Maysa thought dumbfoundedly.
“Anyway, when he was talking about healing, he meant...?” She asked.
“That’s correct. I have every kind of healing and restoring HP skill. However, that doesn’t include dispelling curses, or sharing my MP to Master, because it’s beyond my current level’s capability. Apart from these, I can do it just fine.”
Jinnie spoke with a cute gesture and a sweet voice, making the listener raise her eyebrows.
“How can you be this flawless?”
That was what Maysa thought. Even though Jinnie was an AI, she still had to admit that her figure was very gorgeous. Also, Jinnie’s manner and gestures did not look fake at all. Maybe that was because she already had this pure and innocent personality from when she had not been personalized yet. ...And she looked just like an angel. Seeing that, Maysa gazed at Wisana.
“Seems like you’re always surrounded by pretty girls, Wisana.”
Hearing that, Wisana gave her a chuckle right away.
“Aw, does that include you as well?”
After speaking, Wisana was about to tilt Maysa’s chin up like how he liked teasing her all the time. But this time, the girl was not in the mood for that. She pushed his hand away from her instantly like she was being annoyed.
“Maybe, though I’m not as pretty as that GM June. But you probably knew that since she had kissed you on the lips before.”
Wisana was stunned right away. “You saw that...?”
“Gosh, I’m not blind, Boss. I saw it clearly from the front roll of the grandstand!”
She said, then placed one hand on her waist, looking like she was ready to fight. And the one who was snapped at creased his mouth as he was trying to smile, but he could not. Maybe that was because he was stared at by those light grey eyes in front of him like she was about to finish him off. ...Meanwhile, he was cursing at the crappy live broadcast for taking this kind of shot and showing it to everyone as well. ...Well, he was so screwed!
Oh, well, maybe he could turn this situation around to the good side of it.
He thought, before grinning knowingly right away.
“Why are you smiling?!” Maysa asked provokingly. “What’s so funny about that?!”
The more he got yelled at, the more amused he became. Wisana managed to look at Jinnie as he shrugged.
“What do you think, Jinnie?” Wisana asked his personal AI.
“It’s difficult for me to have an opinion about this kind of topic, Master,” Jinnie replied smilingly. “Anyway, I’ve come up with two possibilities about this case. The first one is that she is hurt that you’ve never done that to her yet, but someone else just came and took your kiss before her. And second, she is upset that you did it with another girl without caring about her feelings, in other words, she’s jealous, Master.”
“It’s really worth my while waiting for you to grow into a woman like this, Jinnie. Your insight is brilliant!”
“It’s nothing,” Jinnie said, bowing down a little in appreciation for the compliment.
Meanwhile, the one being mentioned in a half rational half academic speech was speechless as she blushed intensely. She was still unable to find any words, while she was gazing and pointing at the AI girl, who was just now confirmed that she was a lot more talkative in this form!
“So, what would you say, Miss Maysa?” Wisana smiled sweetly back at her, before leaning in closer to the gorgeous girl who was blushing even harder. “Which one are you in right now, hurt or jealous? I’ll give you ten seconds to answer.”
As if she just said something that dug her own grave somehow. So, the girl pressed her lips together tightly as she hit his chest with her fists, causing a smack! Sound.
“I’m not hurt or jealous, or anything!”
“Huh, if not, why did you hit me then?” Then Wisana grabbed the girl’s wrists instantly. And he was holding them still, not letting them go.
“Because you’re annoying!”
“So, you’re mad at me because I’m annoying now, Miss Maysa?” he said, then let out a loud laugh. “Damn, I really committed so many crimes.”
“Yeah! You did. If you didn’t want to join this Hunting Gate thing, all of this wouldn’t have happened. And if you didn’t seduce that GM, maybe she wouldn’t have kissed you, ...Oh, or it was really your intention to make her kiss you?”
“What?”
He was going to let her talk all she wanted because Maysa was kind of cute when she was half angry and half embarrassed like this. But after he was accused like this, it started to not be funny now. So, the one who was teasing her let out a hard sigh as he smiled wryly.
“So, it really was. You knew so well that she was going to kiss you, ...KYA!”
