Chapter 240: Strike Back! Part II

Chapter 240: Strike Back! Part II

“Let me go with you, too.”

And with these words of his, everyone turned and stared at him at the same time, especially Maysa who had her eyes bulging as big as an egg.

“You? Going with us? Are you planning to find a place to dig your own grave or what?”

“You’ve got such an awful mouth, May.” The one who just got nagged, nagged back. “I might look like this, but I’ve improved my skills as well, you know. Also, I’ve upgraded to the second class already. And you might have noticed that, if you checked our guild’s information window just once in a while, you lazy chief.”

The one who was blamed for lacking responsibility paused, before pointing her finger at the sassy merchant.

“You’ve had the second class now? How? ...What you do all day is only make a business deal and produce items, isn’t it? Since when did you have the time to farm your levels?”

“I didn’t say I went farming.”

“Huh?” Everyone drawled their voices.

“Well, I just saw that there was plenty of EXP stored on our guild’s board, so I took a bit of it to upgrade to the second class.”

“What?!”

The chief of staff cried in a high-pitched tone as she realized that since Wisana went on a separate way to farm, he had shared a huge amount of EXP he earned from killing many kinds of bosses with the guild. And all he had done was for this guy to spend it so wastefully like this?!

“Who allowed you to do this, jerk? Don’t you realize that Wisana had been through a lot to collect that much EXP? And you easily took it, just like that?”

“Come on, upgrading items requires the abilities from the second class, you know?” He forced up a wry smile. “Also, I only took just 2 million.”

“Just?! ...Ugh, I’m going crazy.” Maysa smashed her forehead. “It’s TWO MILLION, it’s a huge amount, you jackass. Other people cough blood all their way to get two million EXP. I really can’t think of any words that can insult you enough right now, Ae.”

“May, honey, let’s calm down a bit. Let’s talk about that later, okay...?”

That troubled Waree to stop her friend, making the chief of staff make a clicking sound in her throat like she was pissed off that she could not continue insulting and making this man feel as small as a Nano right now!

“Okay, so, you’re going with us, right, Manoch?”

“Yes, I am.”

The merchant turned to smile wryly at Waree. And Waree could guess why this guy agreed to risk his life down there, even though his class was not about fighting at all, ... maybe he just wanted to make amends for sneakily taking some of the guild’s EXP for himself.

“Alright, so four of you are all the members of the Nemesis guild, correct?” Thada asked.

"Correct.”

Maysa was the one who answered as she curled up a smile. Seeing that, the young GM nodded in acknowledgment right away. This was good. Things would be easier if they were all the members of Nemesis. Because he was sure that every one of them was as much of a monster as their leader.

“Sorry, May. We really want to go down there as well, but with our levels right now, I’m afraid that we’ll just slow you guys down.”

Nuchjaree was the one who spoke up with a wry smile, as well as Tunwa who was nodding at her.

“Take care of Na for me, May.” He said smilingly.

After hearing that, Maysa nodded in reply, before holding up her hand to pat on their shoulders, while she was giving them a sweet smile, and that eased their worries right away.

One moment later, Nemesis guild’s members rushed to circle around Thada. After that, the attractive GM looked down at Dores town below, before bringing his green information window up. Then he looked at Angie once again.

“Go ahead and start now, Angie.”

“Okay.” After the little hacker’s agreement, she proceeded to press a button on her keyboard hard, causing a huge amount of electricity to short-circuit all over the area. The audience on the Light Ring started screaming out of shock. Even though many of them had evacuated out, there was still a group of them on the grandstand anyway.

It did not take long before a moderate-sized hole appeared on the light barrier, making Angie hurriedly yell out right away.

“This is the time, Mister Thada. The district’s barrier has been cracked. You can teleport us inside now.”

“Okay, ...everyone, please hold your breath!”

----------------

BOOM!!!

The sound of wreck and ruin was heard resoundingly all over the west side of the town continuously. Those four people had started fighting violently again finally. Especially the attack combo of Nero and Allen that seemed to be even more violent after they were pissed off by Sander and Viola’s provoking words.

“What is up with you now, Miss Viola?!”

Nero snapped in the moment that he finished casting a spell to summon many dozens of red-light swords to attack the slime figure of her. And right now, Viola had to hold her favorite swords up to defend herself from all directions of attack intensely.

“You were so cocky and bragging just now, weren’t you?”

The man added with a wide smile.

“Yeah, why? You seem to be nervous right now as well, Nero.” Viola retorted with a soft grin. After that, the slim woman slashed her swords out in a wide swing, making every single one of the red-light swords from Nero disappear instantly.

CRASH!!!

A brief moment later, it was Allen’s turn to get cast into a building around there, making it all collapse. And then, there was the figure of Sander following him right away with a red sparkling aura surrounding his body!

“Seems like he gets so impetuous and has activated the magic body mode now, huh.” After she finished speaking in a sweet voice, she then let out a smile. “But with these low-ranked pawns of Frazier, you really don’t need to put more than 50% of your strength into the fight.”

“What’d you say?!”

That was once again that Viola’s words could provoke the other and get him pissed. Right now, Nero was clenching his teeth, before charging the woman in front of him without a second thought.

“A pawn will forever be a pawn. The only good that it has is to mislead the enemy.”

“We’ll know soon enough who’s the pawn, Viola!”

Nero bawled with a face that was vividly red. Some sparks were flashing and shining from his two hands. Then he flicked his hands out in front of him to bring two chains from the air, before sending them straight at the woman fast and violently!

Those rust-colored eyes were staring at these strange weapons attentively. A soft smile was still on her beautiful face. Her hands held her favorite weapons up firmly, before slashing out at those chains, changing their direction away from her easily. After she took a defense so brilliantly, the slim figure rushed at the enemy as well. She threw her swords up in the air.

Sword Master Field.

At that second, the two swords of Viola split up violently to become many types of weapons floating in the air. There was a large deep blue magic circle appearing with many symbols and characters on where she was standing.

“That woman just said that people took the fight too seriously, and proceeded to use an even more brutal skill, huh? You’re really going to use that skill right now?!”

Sander glanced at her for a second, before letting out a chuckle and charging in to continue the fight with Allen.

Meanwhile, Nero was bulging his eyes when he saw this skill of Viola. He tried to run backward to get out of the magic circle, which was counted as the strongest magic skill of the game. And of course, Viola could guess that the other was trying to escape from the battle area. So, she rushed forward and grabbed one of the floating weapons, which was a trident spear, in her hand!

“Where do you think you’re going, mister freaking Nero? You still own me for calling me old, you know!”
