Chapter 236: The Awakened Emperor Part VII

“Alright, let’s finish our business ...what?!!”

Black had not finished his sentence when Wisana’s tall figure disappeared from his sight instantly. He had run from the battle area like he had nothing to lose anymore, making the item hunters clench their jaws and barely chase after him in time!

“You know you can’t fight, so you run, huh?!” Red shouted while he was running behind Wisana.

“So, this is Vincent, the hero that everyone’s fascinated about? His real self is just a coward, I guess.”

Yellow added on another nagging. However, the tall one who was running ahead just clenched his jaws tightly. His amber eyes were looking for a way to flee. His brain was running fast as it thought about what he should do next, ...what he should do in a situation that he was losing in every way like this?!

It did not take long after that when he saw that there were an awful number of wires blocking his way ahead like they wanted to add more obstacles to his running. However, the expert of movement just spread a wide smirk. He purposely ran toward those wires, making the item hunter named Blue gasp her mouth broadly.

“How could a man be that stupid? He knows so well what will happen if he runs into them!”

Even though he got cut by many wires, the tall man kept running as he tried to ignore the pain for now. His speed did not drop at all until he reached the end of the district seal! After that, he looked back and saw those item hunters following him closely.

“Come on. I’m really good at playing tag games!”

He said and changed direction to run forward right away, pissing the hunters off totally. Especially Black, he ground his teeth tightly, not knowing what the guy was trying to do. All he knew now was he was just trying to stall the time as long as he could!

“You filthy cockroach!!” Black shouted loudly. “Split up! Kill him!”

The item hunters split up. Some of them were rushing up to block the man, some were chasing behind, and the rest got in a higher place right away.

The thundering sound was resounding all over the area as the disaster Yellow called struck down all the way on Wisana’s running route. The glasses hunter was running on tall buildings, while he was casting lightning magic to attack Wisana continuously. However, his speed was still working at the fullest, so no thunderbolt could hit him at all!

The nimble figure kept moving forward persistently. He tried to keep himself where the tall buildings were, in the hope that their height would hide him from the mage hunter just a little bit!

“It’s useless for you to run, Vincent. This place will be your grave anyway!”

Red’s voice was heard from behind, telling Wisana that the other was so close that he was almost breathing on the back of his neck now!

He could not make a clicking sound of displeasure for so long, because Green appeared out ahead of him, with his favorite axe in his hand that seemed to be scarily bigger somehow. ...Seeing that, Wisana curled up a smile by the corner of his lips right away.

“You will be ended here, Vi, ...h ...hey!”

“You never learn, do you? You air-headed meat.”

Wisana said with a drawling voice, while Green was drawing his axe up and about to lash it down. Wisana approached him, before pulling Green behind him and placing his hand on Green’s back. Then he grinned, baring his teeth wide.

A small explosion caused Green’s body to bounce forward with full force, making Red, who was rushing in, flinch.

“Hey, hey, why the hell are you coming at me, Green?!”

“I’m freaking not. He kicked me!” Green yelled as he was floating in the air, unable to control himself.

After that, Red was about to dodge away from Green’s bulky body, but suddenly he felt the hand of someone touching his back softly. And that was all to make Red widen his eyes, his mouth was gasping up and down without any words coming out of there.

“Y ...you, when did you?”

“Where do you think you’re going, Mister Hunter? Now go crash into each other.” Wisana smirked.

Red clenched his jaws after he got attacked. His moderate-sized body was knocked away just like Green’s was. Moreover, his body was flying straight into Green who was coming in his direction as well. So, there was a collision between a truck and a mini cooper with a loud noise...

After that, the two hunters were lying on the ground scatteringly, making the tall young man let out a soft sigh. However, he could not rest for so long because his instinct was kicking in again. Wisana bent down quickly, as the buildings by his sides were cut in half in the blink of an eye!

“There you are. You’re having a bit too much fun now, Mister Vincent.”

That was Blue. She was standing on the top of a building on the other side, using her favorite wires to cut everything around Wisana easily.

“Can I play with you, too, little boy?”

“What a mess!”

The man cursed loudly, before continuing to run furiously. Right now, Yellow’s thunderbolts had been active again, so Wisana had to be more careful about the flashing light from above. Moreover, there were these wires that were moving freely around him to cut stuff in half so easily as well!

His running away started to get harder when Yellow and Blue teamed up and attacked him from every direction like this. However, his abilities were still beyond them. Even though he was under these strong attacks, Wisana could still manage to dodge them so brilliantly as always. He had no idea how long he had been running, but he thought that he was about to make a lap around the district seal now.

And he had no idea how long he had to keep running.

But he just had to keep going on no matter what.

He needed to escape!

“I told you that no matter how hard you try, it’ll be just like dancing on our hands. So, stop being crazy, you filthy cockroach!!”

But he could not go any further because a black hand of a demon grabbed Wisana’s neck. And that made him choke with the immense strength of the enemy!

Wisana tried reaching his hand to grab it, but his body kept going up higher like this demon’s hand could move freely without a limit. A few seconds later, Black slowly walked out of the corner of a building, revealing that the hand was his and it could stretch out in a scary length as well!

“Y...you!” Wisana stared at the enemy.

“Sorry that I’m not going along with your game, fool!” Black said. “Don’t you know that you would run in a circle and be back to the same spot eventually? I already thought that a player like you only has fast speed as your only good point.”

He said with a sneer before he licked his lips.

“...It’s game over for you now, Vincent.”

After he finished speaking, there were a crazy number of wires rushing in to tie Wisana’s arms and legs, hanging him in the air instantly, while this long black hand was loosening away from his throat...

Without hesitation, Black leaped up in the air with his body transformed to be in all pitch-black color, eyes like a wild animal, and a blood-thirsty smile. ...It only took a second for the hand with long sharp claws to clench tight, draw in full swing, and punch Wisana with full force!!!
