Chapter 228: Start Hunting! Part VI
Chapter 228: Start Hunting! Part VI
CLING!!
It was not long after that, a beautiful, clear bell sound was heard through Dores town, making Wisana who was resting, pause a little immediately. Then he rolled his amber eyes to the other man who he had been watching without him realizing it and saw that Vis had stopped his actions right away as well.
Moreover, his sharp eye like an eagle started glancing around fast.
And that brought a soft smile to Wisana’s face. Then he got up slowly, being careful not to be seen by Vis. A cunning grin suddenly appeared on his cheeky face instantly.
“That bell just now, it’s probably the sign.”
Then he started peeping at Vis from behind. He saw that this one-eyed guy paused a little, before jumping out of the tower right away.
“Got you!”
Without hesitation, the cheeky one ran out of his hiding place as well. He then jumped to cling to a window’s frame on a building skillfully. And with his agility, he got himself on the spot where Vis was standing a moment ago in the blink of an eye.
His amber eyes glanced at the spot he had in mind.
“Vis was looking in the direction just now, huh.”
He spoke to himself before starting to piece everything together. His amber eyes were looking around the area intensely. His lips pressed together in a straight line. And finally, something caught his attention and made him pause instantly.
On the top of a bell tower-like building to the south of the town. The distance from here to there was about three hundred meters. Even though it could not be seen so clearly, Wisana was still sure that something that he was looking for was totally there!
Because there was a pale gold light illuminating there at the top of the southern tower!
“There it is, huh? Nice.”
After that he started laughing delightedly, jumping down from the building right away. And before his feet touched the ground, he managed to blend some air magic to his back so that his agility and speed increased many times!
Within a blink, the one who had been resting for a while started running forward at his full speed instantly!
“Hey!”
It only took one moment before Wisana could catch up with Vis who started off before for many meters successfully. The one who was getting passed cursed out with shock, while the cheeky man that just followed the other’s eyes was smiling at Vis guiltily.
“Sorry, Vis, but I really need to take the first crystal. I won’t play tricks like this again, I promise.”
Then the cheeky one winked, before running out of Vis’ sight in a way that made Vis stop making a snorting sound out of his throat...
“This guy had been peeping at me the whole time...?”
He spoke to himself, then he let out a wry smile right after. ...He was not just being highly skilled, but he also capable of being sneaky that he painfully messed with his head as well...
Using him who had better eyesight to search the crystal for him to cut in and snatch it to himself. It was unclear if that guy was overconfident or crazy.
“Having this guy as an ally would probably be reassuring. But having him as an enemy right now is so annoying. Damn it.”
After his voice ended, a playful smile was flashing on the youthful face of Vis instantly.

And to the side of the one who was running at full speed. Right now, the sharp freezing wind of winter was blowing against the attractive face that appeared to be adorned with enjoyment. Those amber eyes were staring at the crystal on top of the bell tower with determination.
But one moment later, a huge number of monsters were waiting in front of him, making Wisana press his lips together right away. ...Those monsters were mostly Minotauruses and a huge pack of Goblins.
“Come on! Even though the station boss’s already been killed, these monsters are still respawning with no end?!”
He shouted frustratedly, flicking his hand out in the front which made the green light that sparked on his back decrease a little as a sign that he was reducing his speed. Then he jumped to cling to the wall and cleverly used his fluent skill of running on the wall to avoid enemies’ battle spots.
The movements expert smiled widely after he knew that he did not need to fight those monsters. It took a bit longer to use this shortcut, but it was totally worth it!
After he let himself down from the wall, he turned back to look at the group of monsters that he just ran past. It was true that he tried avoiding the fight with them, but it was still bugging him that none of them looked like they were going to attack him at all...
“Let’s forget it!”
He decided and got back to focus quickly, before running forward again. He saw some huge monsters waiting to ambush him along the way, but he chose to avoid fighting them every time.
Wisana avoided them by running and passing them closely to make them confused and lose focus. And this plan was working brilliantly because except for Vis, the others did not seem to notice the crystal at all until now.
And that was why he was running and smiling so delightfully in the southern part of the town by himself. Right after he got to the bell tower, he jumped and climbed up there fluently. ...The height of it was not a problem for Wisana who had the nickname ’cockroach’ at all. So, in the blink of an eye, he could climb to the top successfully.
His eyes were staring at the crystal that was just a few inches away. ...The amber gem was reflecting light into sparks, looking beautiful and touchable. Until now, there was a slight warm breath coming out between the man’s lips, showing that running for a long distance could make him exhausted as well.
“Looks like there’s no one here, yet.” A big smile came across Wisana’s face. “...Then let’s have the first one hundred thousand.”
Then he slowly reached out to touch the crystal right away...
And after his fingertip touched this glowing amber crystal, there was a heat wave bursting out of it instantly, making his eyes widen!
WOOOP!!
“W ...what the hell is this light?!”
----------------
“That guy’s touched the crystal, right?”
Allen’s voice rang up, sounding like he was enjoying this quite a lot. Those bloody red eyes were staring at the image in front of him with satisfaction, while Neo was smiling softly next to him.
“The district seal magic has been activated, Allen.”
The owner of the blond hair said with a playful voice. His amethyst eyes behind the glasses looked like he was having fun just as much as his friend.
“Did you keep those annoying ones out, Nero?” Allen asked.
“I did,” Nero smirked. “I told every monster to block other players out. They won’t be able to get involved with this totally.”
“Good.” Allen nodded in acknowledgment. “Next, do me a favor. Summon those with levels 100-150 out to play with them for a while. Don’t let them get to him.”
“Don’t worry about that. I’ve summoned them out, and with the numbers that were enough to destroy this town in the blink of an eye.”
