Chapter 229: Start Hunting! Part VII

Chapter 229: Start Hunting! Part VII

“Don’t worry about that. I’ve summoned them out, and with the numbers that were enough to destroy this town in the blink of an eye.”

Allen smiled at those words as he looked out in front of him with a happy face...

The image in front of him was an enormous magic district sealing Dores firmly in a way that no one could get in and out. ...And this district surrounded the town only, not including the Light Ring stand that was floating above the town.

Allen thought, then smiled widely as he looked up to the massive ring-shaped stage like he was satisfied.

“If there’s not that guy, things will get easier now, that Thada,” Allen said with a pleased voice.

Nero chuckled at his friend’s words.

“Your plan’s brilliant. Not only that it can keep Thada out of it 100%, but it also creates the stage for testing Vincent’s abilities as well.”

Allen did not say anything in reply. He just looked at the bell tower in the southern part of the town. In that area, there was another firm magic district as well. It was obvious that not only was there the magic district around Dores to keep people out but there was also one in that area of the town, too.

Seeing that, the one who planned this smiled with his teeth bared right away.

“Alright, now let’s show me something fun for once, Vincent.”

“But before you can see something fun from that boy, I want you to have fun with me first, Allen, Nero.”

But a second later, there was a gentle voice of someone speaking up from behind them, making the two young men jump and hurriedly turn to look.

And what they saw was something that made them raise their eyebrows, mouth gasping instantly...

What they saw was a woman in a loose brown hood with the upper half of her face covered with a mask that revealed only her pink lips, which were now pressing together tightly like she was about to punish the ones in front of her.

And the other newcomer was a man with a face of good mood people. He was tall. And he had black hair with some white that was slicked back elegantly. The lively smile on his face was like the trademark that introduced him enough that he was Sander, the master of the magic warrior class!

These people were the ones who made both Nero and Allen frown their eyebrows.

“You, how did you get in here?!” Nero bawled loudly.

That made the newcomers look at each other before the woman curled up a smile.

“You should already know how, Frazier’s dogs.”

Hearing the masked lady’s words, the two men paused and made a heavy breath sound like they had just been insulted with the rudest words!

“Hi, haven’t seen you two in a while.” Sander greeted them with an annoying voice. “You still seem fine, and I really envy you about this. No matter how many years have passed, you all still look young like this. Now look at me, I’m going to enter my second quarter-life crisis in a few years. It’s so depressing thinking about it.”

Hearing him say that, even Allen was stunned as well.

“You’re still good at barking as well, Sander.”

“Yeah, that’s my trademark.” Sander smiled cunningly back in response.

“How long until you finish greeting each other, Ran?”

The woman had to give her friend side eyes, making Dr. Saran, or Sander burst out laughing as he held his hands up like he was giving up.

“Sorry, I got carried away, because we haven’t seen each other for a long time and we’ve missed the others lots, right, Allen, Nero? Anyway, didn’t I kick you two in the mouth the last time we met? Remember how your mouths were covered in blood? It was such a fun day.”

“You sh*t.”

Allen could not help but curse slightly, while Nero was clenching his jaws out of anger.

“These guys are so rude. They don’t have humor at all.”

“What are you doing here, Sander?!” Allen spoke with a voice that sounded to be toned down, then he looked at the masked lady. “And what about this woman, covering her face up totally like this?”

Hearing the question, she made a snorting sound out of her throat instantly.

“Did you really forget?” She said and held her hand up to take the mask off slowly, while her hood was shaken off her head, making her white hair like snow in the nighttime appear instead.

At the first second after Nero and Allen saw her face, they slipped out a laugh, before smiling at each other instantly.

“Oh, I wasn’t expecting this,” Nero greeted.

“Viola, the Goddess of War! I almost didn’t recognize you since it’s been a while,” Allen added.

Hearing them like that, Viola raised her eyebrows a little. Her aged face still had the full beauty of a Thai woman. She was curling up a smile like she was curious about what game these guys were going to play.

“Are you trying to provoke me or what, jackasses.” She snorted.

“Oh, no, we’re not trying to provoke you at all, Miss Viola.” Nero grinned.

“I’m just curious about how time works. ...Who would have thought that the Goddess of War Viola, who was known for her skills and beauty, would have the evidence of being on the earth for too long like those wrinkles on her face like other people, too? So, you’re old now.”

SNAP!

Something in Viola’s brain started tearing apart a little.

“Well, she’s a woman anyway, Allen. It’s normal for them to grow old faster, you know. However, I would never imagine this could be happening either. Look, she’s got a lot chubbier from before. Her butt got larger as well. I guess, what she does all day is eat and take naps surely. So, it’s true that you’ll be like this after you get old.”

SNAP!

“You can’t blame her for that though. She’s been aging like she’s supposed to, after all these years that she was gone. So, it’s not strange that we feel like she looks so old after we met her again. Because we still look as young as ever. We don’t get old, so we don’t know what it’s like to be old like old people do.”

SNAAAP!!!

And that thing in Viola’s brain had now torn apart. While Nero and Allen started laughing so hard that they had to curl their stomachs, Sander who had been listening all along hit his forehead wearily.

“The prohibited word was said now.” He spoke, sounding tired.

“Come on, Viola, we get it. It’s okay!”

Allen said and burst out laughing.

“It’s just how old people are!” Nero added up annoyingly.

But when they turned to look at the only lady here, they made a sound out of their throats, sounding like ‘huh?’ Because right now, only Sander was left there, rubbing his temple wearily. But the one that they tried to get on her nerves was not there, leaving only the brown coat that was falling to the floor slowly.

A split second later, someone suddenly appeared behind Nero and Allen’s back like she teleported here. Also, her face looked so cold that it was almost emotionless. However, those silver swords in her hands did not look calm like her expression at all.

“You’ve said the word old 7 times.” She tightened her grip on the swords firmly. “...And I feel that you both have crossed too many lines now, you jackass. But it’s okay, I’m going to give these words back to you fairly, you Frazier’s dogs!”
