Chapter 189: Versus “Ouroboros” Part IV
Chapter 189: Versus “Ouroboros” Part IV
“No time to explain. Just try not to get hit, kid!”
And that was another time that he snapped at other people. It could be that Ouroboros would attack the one who attacked it first. So, it turned to pay attention to the tiny one on the dog NPC’s shoulders, making Leonard hide its tail between its legs as it was running and screaming throughout the dome again.
The huge dog was doing a bad job in running away from the threat like usual because he got cornered by those arms so fast. ...However, that ugly boss could not attack Leonard, because Shin had been back in the fight with those cold lavender eyes!
BOOM!!!
3,620!
His rough hand swung the spear and that could push three of Ouroboros’s hands away. Then he stared up at the enemy in front of him, lips gasping slightly for air.
“Magical attacks don’t work on you, huh? Ugly ass.”
Then there would be no problem with stabbing you straight in the flesh, right?!
After his thought, the tall one rushed in to tangle with the enemy right away. His purple eyes could catch up with the movement of those six hands completely. So, it was not difficult for Shin to evade them so easily and beautifully as if he was dancing.
Just swinging the spear shortly could not cause damage to Ouroboros that much, but it was enough to make the enemy stunned and allow him to get close to its body successfully. Then he put all his weight into one leg that was standing firmly on the ground, before sliding his hand down from the middle of the spear’s handle to the bottom end of it,
Lance Stab!
769,203!!
The sharp end of the spear was pushed out in a straight line, piercing through the body of the enemy deep to another end of the weapon. Ouroboros screamed out of pain, never expecting that it would get attacked this strong and violent before. At the same time, the man with a cold expression let go of the spear handle, before clapping his hands together.
“Player Shindanai has activated the destruction of the earth element Longinus. A reminder: after destroying it, the earth element Longinus will be unable to summon for 120 minutes.”
“I know that it will not kill you in one hit, but listening to you screaming out of pain will be weirdly satisfying, do you think so?” Shin said, then curling up a smirk.
Crisis Nova.
After the gentle voice of Shin, the spear that was sticking in Ouroboros’s body started spinning harshly, causing a spark that fired up in the blink of an eye. Then the earth element Longinus started to be crooked and blasted up eventually!

“Woah, ...that crusader kid is doing great.”
Sander exclaimed delightedly as he slapped his own knee, feeling so satisfied with Shin’s ability. While his eyes were watching these monitors from a hundred angles in front of him, his joyful smile never faded away just once.
“That spear-sticking skill was already impressive, but who would have thought that he would be able to use Crisis Nova, too? ...Guess that I have to reconsider this crusader kid now.”
He said before a grin appeared on his rough face as he was watching Shin attentively.
“But Master,” Lala, who was sitting next to him, spoke up. “It’s true that Mister Shin can attack very strongly, but that isn’t enough to do any harm to Ouroboros anyway. And you should already know that.”
“I do, why would I not?” He smiled widely. “Ouroboros is not even fighting seriously right now. It’s just throwing hands around randomly, so let alone decreasing its HP.”
“I know right!” Lala yelled. “It’s just throwing hands around, and they’re losing their grips already. There’re only Mister Wisana and Shin who look like they’re starting to know its tricks.”
Hearing that, Sander curled up a soft smile, holding up a hand to stroke around his mouth, looking mysterious.
“I think that’s already enough. Just one of them starts to suspect it, everything will get easier. And don’t forget that even though my beloved disciple’s kind of slow, his sense of fighting is amazingly fast.”
Then his piercing face turned to watch the screen with a smile again. He placed his rough hand under his chin, looking like he was enjoying seeing those little chickens about to experience a new fight.
“They need to keep themselves alive because the real thing’s about to start from now on.”
“Player Shindanai had decreased Ouroboros’s HP down by more than 4 million points, making Ouroboros fully in “All Elements” mode. Shindanai and the party, please get a grip.”
The voice of the AI of the young crusader warned with a delighted tone, making everyone who heard that raise their eyebrows, not understanding what that was supposed to mean. Only the one who was the nearest to Ouroboros like Shin, and the one who was standing and reading the information in a corner of the room like Maysa frowned their eyebrows instantly at the words, “All Elements.”
“Just 9 million points, and it’s in full fighting mode already?”
Shin cursed with a harsh voice, before glancing at his party members.
“Be careful, guys. Ouroboros’s about to throw a big combo of magic spells!”
The warning made everybody pause, including Wisana who was always impulsive. This time, he did not need Shin’s warning, because his instincts already told him that the enemy was about to strike back with more violence now!
And as expected, right now the huge figure of the monster obviously started making a move on something. In the middle of its back, there was a huge snake slithering out and circling in the air until it could eat its own tail, performing the symbol of alchemy, “Ouroboros,” fully.
“This doesn’t look good.”
Maysa spoke as her light gray eyes widened at the information in front of her. Because the more Ouroboros changed, the information that she received would increase immensely, too!
“Maysa, I think it’s kind of strange.”
Suddenly, Warunya spoke up softly, making the chief of staff turn her eyes to her.
“What?”
“The elements in Ouroboros start moving around in a strange way.”
She said, then the thick book in Warunya’s hands floated up in front of her. Also, the pages were flipping by themselves senselessly, making Maysa raise her eyebrows.
“Look, the Index of Alchemy book I got from you is warning that Ouroboros has elements in it up to six types.”
Hearing that, Maysa raised her eyebrows even higher.
“Yeah, it does. I already told you that in the first place, didn’t I?”
“It’s not just that.” Then she pushed the book to Maysa. “Look at the images the book is showing. It specifies the magic elements in each part of Ouroboros.”
“What?”
Maysa hurriedly looked through the images in the book. They were doodle drawings of the boss with information on its organs that had completely different elements running in each one.
“This is,” She held up a hand to touch her mouth, considering. “Each arm has a different element, and their levels are different, too. The second left hand is using a support skill from the light element as well.”
“This could be the reason why magical skills didn’t work on it.”
Hearing Warunya’s conclusion, she curled up a wide smile, feeling glad that they could solve another mystery of the enemy!
“Keep on analyzing, Warunya,” Maysa yelled happily. “Do it thoroughly, which part has what element, what magic patterns it has, and most importantly, what its weaknesses are.”
“Sure!”
Warunya said with a smile, feeling thankful for the book that was an S-rank item in front of her gratefully. Its quality was brilliant. It showed the enemy’s information thoroughly and it could even show the movement of the elements that it was about to use as well!
However, the two girls did not quite finish agreeing with the plan yet when the monster of alchemy started making a big move!
Darkness Melodies.
Ouroboros’s attack skill had started. A hand at the top managed to raise up high with a black beam shooting up of there. It was floating in the air, before splitting out into thousands of smaller beams!
