Chapter 190: Versus “Ouroboros” Part V

“Crap!”

8,963!

Shin, who was the nearest, had no way to avoid the skill. So, he held up his hands to cover his fatal parts, but the attack still made the tall one tremble that he needed to get out of there.

“Damn, how am I supposed to get away from these rapid shots?”

Meanwhile, Tunwa was stuck even more. Right now, he needed to spread his shield up to protect Leonard and Angie, who had run to take cover behind his back like he was some kind of a bunker!

“Wah!! Hold on to that, Mister Tunwa!” The dog shouted.

“Come on! Do something, doggo. My HP is running out now, do you see that? Can you give me some HP potions? You have the item-throwing skill, don’t you? What are you waiting for, an invitation?”

“Right. Please wait a moment, sir!”

Then the dog started searching for the HP potion hurriedly. And the bullet bunker snorted out from his throat, feeling displeased that this huge dog with a very tiny heart did not know how to pull itself together at all!

“Be more patient. You’re a man.” Angie said in a monotone voice, making the listener smile wryly.

“It’s easy for you to say that, little lady,” Tunwa shouted.

“It’s easy for a man to do, too, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, it is. ...So easy that my HP is about to drain out of me now. Leonard, where is my potion? How long do you need before you find one for me?!”

“Here is it, sirrrr!!!”

And then the dog monster tossed the best kind of potion to the man as it was told. And after it gave one, it had to find another bottle ready right away. Because right now, Ouroboros’s beams were shot at Tunwa continuously like machine guns!

“KYAAA!!”

On Nuchjaree’s side, right now, she could only scream as she was running to dodge these black beams entangledly until her rust-colored eyes caught with Waree’s who was waiting there in front of her. Then she was so relieved that she felt like shedding tears!

“Get behind me, P’Nuch!”

“You don’t have to tell me that!”

The bold girl announced her intention loudly, before sliding herself to hide behind Waree quickly. After that, the pair of emerald, green eyes of the guardian of light stared at the black beams of the enemy. Her beautiful pink lips pressed together as her hands whipped out in front of her harshly!

Reverse Shield!

After casting the spell, the light started swirling and compressing tightly until it became light blue, appearing around Waree. And every black shot that came at her twisted away, not even being able to get close to her at all.

“You have some high-ranked defensive skill here,” Nuchjaree said out of relief. “Great, so Ouroboros’s attacks can’t harm us now!”

“Yes, ...you’re right it can’t harm us, but the others.”

Waree said, then looked at every party member with a concerned look in her eyes, especially Maysa and Warunya who did not have a player with heavy armor to protect them.

“It really doesn’t hold back when it gets serious, huh, this boss!”

Nuchjaree shouted as she looked at the black beams fired from Ouroboros that did not seem to stop soon now. Because after it finished shooting the first combo, it continued to shoot the second right away, with no need to reload or anything at all.

“That’s why it hasn’t been hunted for two years.”

Waree said through gritted teeth. Ouroboros was the type of enemy that they could not be careless with for just one second because this jerk was ready to change its attack patterns at any moment!

“We need to get ourselves together, Nam, or the whole party will get killed for sure!”

Nuchjaree commented, and Waree agreed with that unconditionally. Right now, her emerald eyes were looking for a way to survive intensely, while her lips were pressing together and making them bruised.

“P’Nuch, help me look for a way out. I have to cast a spell to assure everyone’s safety first.”

“Got it!”

The girls agreed with each other without a doubt. Maybe that was because the situation right now was in a rush, and they did not have many choices. Meanwhile, Maysa and Warunya were in the worst crisis.

“Warunya, you’re good?!”

The chief of staff yelled panickily.

“I am, but my black potion is decreasing so fast right now. And if we keep going like this, both of us will be absolutely dead!”

Warunya said as she looked at the barrier from her potion barrier skill. And right now, this light wall that was protecting Maysa and her from lying dead on the ground was about to break any time soon. The reason was that the potion barrier could only take a part of the damage, before disappearing. But in the case that there was the same type of potion in her inventory, the barrier’s armor points would be restored continuously until the potion was completely gone.

And she was running out of the best kind of cola-flavor black potion now!

“Come on, how long will this Ouroboros keep attacking us?!”

“It’s not going to stop until we’re all dead!” Warunya shouted. “Look at the book, its MP only decreases so little for one-time magic usage. Also, this is a low-ranked dark element magic that focuses more on quantity than strong damage. But if it keeps going on like this, we’ll be screwed surely.”

Hearing that, Maysa pressed her lips together tightly, glancing at each one of the party members who were now completely cornered, especially Shin, who was the nearest to Ouroboros. Right now, the man was struggling to run backward from the fighting point. Also, his HP was draining out like a broken water pipe now, too!

“What about him?”

But suddenly, she spoke up quietly. The light gray eyes were searching around for someone who had now disappeared from the battle zone!

“What about Wisana? Where is he? Don’t tell me that he’s dead!”

Maysa shouted louder this time, making Warunya take her eyes off the book.

“That’s right!” Warunya started yelling, too. “I haven’t seen Wisana since Ouroboros started attacking with magic!”

“...Looking for me, little May?”

But suddenly, the one they were looking for just contacted them through the party communication channel, making the girls jump and look around the place to find him!

“Wisana? Where are you? Are you lying dead somewhere, or what?”

“Come on, how could you jinx me like that?” The cheeky one replied cheerfully.

“...Where are you, then? Are you sure you don’t need a shield to protect you?”

Warunya cut in with a worried face.

“Uh, ...don’t worry. I’m at the safest place right now.”

Hearing that, the girls looked at each other’s faces.

“Where?” Maysa asked.

“Have you ever heard of the saying; the most dangerous place is the safest place?”

His words made Maysa stunned. The light gray eyes looked out in front of her quickly, because from Wisana’s words, she thought he was implying that the safe place was the closest spot to the enemy.

And she was right!

Right now, the troublemaker was standing on Ouroboros’s shoulder, not getting harmed by the attacks at all just like that. He was even holding up a peace sign and grinning at Maysa, too!

“You silly! How long have you been up there?!”
