Chapter 188: Versus “Ouroboros” Part III

“...Release level 3 weapon, Landy Sword.”

After his words, the brown magic gems that were circling around Wisana started rushing to assemble on his hand, before transforming themselves into a pitched black large sword, the earth sword with the ability to pierce through the enemy’s armor up to 80%!!

SHUNK!

26,801!

It worked!

Ouroboros’s arm that got slashed bounced off to the ground. Also, the damage he caused to it seemed to be more violent than the previous attacks. And right now, the tall man leaped up to his friend who was attacked and lying still there.

“Seems like you’re enjoying lying there, buddy. Are you alive?” he asked, eyes still looking at the enemy.

“Yeah, still breathing,” Tunwa answered, trying to get up. “Damn, if you came a bit later than this, I would have been like a fly getting slapped flat for sure.”

“You can still smile so cheerfully, huh.”

Wisana glanced at his cheerful friend from the corner of his eye, before grinding his teeth and lifting the sword up again with full strength!

“Get down, Tun!”

“Sh...Shit!”

CRASH!!!

36,982!

That was once again when his large sword worked fast by slashing against one hand of Ouroboros, making it bounce off and collide with another one with full force. Tunwa, who barely dodged his friend’s weapon in time, let out a sigh of relief!

“You can attack it, Na. The damage points just popped up, didn’t it?!” Tunwa yelled.

“Yeah, I saw that. Looks like it has some weird tricks, this boss.” Wisana said as he considered. “Angie’s magic and Shin’s light spear didn’t work on it. No, their attacks couldn’t even get to the boss, but attacking with a physical weapon could.”

After that, his brain started running fast. He looked at Maysa who was running to hide in another corner of the room to receive more of Ouroboros’s information. The chief of staff was figuring out a new plan to handle the battle intensely with Warunya who was there to take cover as well.

If he waited for Maysa to get all the information from Ouroboros, it would be too late.

Also, this monster had a strange fighting pattern that was different from other monsters, too.

Maybe he should prove that himself rather than wait for May!

“Tun, follow me. I need your help!”

“H... huh?!”

And then he just jumped out of the spot he was standing quickly, making the one who was commanded gasp before starting to climb down strugglingly.

“What’s with this ‘follow me’ nonsense, Na? Did you forget that your friend’s afraid of heights?!”

“Er... crap. You try finding a way down by yourself, then.”

Wisana said wearily, while he was watching his friend making awfully slow progress in climbing down the mezzanine. He sighed, before turning to Nuchjaree instead!

“Nuch, follow me!”

“Huh?!” The owner of the name raised her eyebrows. “Y... yeah, got it!”

She said as she watched her friend who was now performing his ultimate skill, which was running up on the dome wall to the height of Ouroboros’s head now.

Even though she could never do what her best friend was doing, catching up with his movements was still the only thing that she needed to do right now. In a blink, the owner of the amber eyes kicked himself off the wall, launching straight at the enemy. His eyes were staring at Ouroboros’s movement attentively.

As expected, its six arms were back beside the body, before it threw the attacks at Wisana senselessly, making him glance at Nuchjaree fast!

“Nuch, support me!”

The request came, making the slim figure pause. She looked at Wisana who just did a flip in the air to dodge the attack from an arm of Ouroboros narrowly.

Seeing that, her beautiful thin lips pressed together tightly...

Would she be able to do it?

But there was no time to think about that anymore. She reached a hand out in front of her, summoning a golden light sparking out of her palm before it turned into an illuminated arrow. Nuchjaree pulled that arrow with her bow. Her rusty-colored eyes were staring ahead, aiming the weapon at the target instantly!

“Don’t shoot at the body. Aim for the arm!” Wisana shouted as he dodged an attack and cast himself up to cling to one arm of the enemy.

“Huh?” Nuchjaree raised her eyebrows.

“Left arm, the one in the middle, hit there. You need to attack that arm only!”

Nuchjaree changed her target as her friend told her. Even though the enemy’s arms were moving randomly, they could not make her lose focus at all. Her eyes were staring, her breath was held, then her hand shot the arrow.

Arrow Spark!

The arrow was shot out with a long beam of light tailing behind. The golden beam went straight in that Ouroboros’s upper arm instantly. At the same time, Wisana evaded the attacks that came from every direction, before using that massive arm of the enemy as a highway to run into that 20-meter-tall body cleverly!

THUNK!

The arrow stuck in the center of the arm which Wisana pointed out for her accurately. Nothing was happening at first, but later, the arrow started to split up, summoning a huge lightning bolt that was not smaller than Angie’s down on Ouroboros’s arm!

BOOM!!

76,523!

And the damage points that Nuchjaree successfully caused popped up.

“I knew it!” Wisana shouted out loudly, as well as Nuchjaree who started smiling.

The moment that Ouroboros was stunned by the archer’s attack, Wisana had already approached the enemy. He threw himself straight at it with all his weight with a large deadly weapon in his hand pointing toward the boss, before it was stabbed in one of its blood-red eyes the full length of its blade!

196,203!!

GEEEEZE!!!

An immense amount of damage popped up with a painful scream that came from the six-armed monster for the first time, at the same time, Wisana landed his feet on the ground again. He narrowed his eyes, before deciding to run backward away from there.

BOOM!!!

Even though it was blind by Wisana’s attack, it could still manage to use all those six arms to crush Wisana accurately. So, right now, the tall man decided to run and dodge those attacks by rushing straight to Nuchjaree immediately.

“KYAAA!!! Na, why are you running to meeee?!” The blunt girl screamed in a high-pitched voice.

“I didn’t know you could scream like that, too.”

The young man commented briefly, before carrying her up proficiently, making her smash her fist on this friend with a loud thud!

“You jerk. Who said you could carry me?!”

“Hold still, or we’ll get our butts crushed!”

Wisana almost did not mind his friend being fractious. He used the ability to run on the wall again to help them survive. Even though he was carrying Nuchjaree with him this time, it still was not a problem for him at all when his friend was lighter than he expected.

“Nuch, did you really gain 2 kilograms? I don’t think you really weigh that much though.”

“KYAAA!! Did Tun tell you about this, too? These jerks!”

Then she smashed Wisana’s chest one time, making him groan. ...Because come on, could she be more afraid like normal people were? What was up with her being worried about something nonsense in a crisis like this?

Lightning War Tech!!

They had not run for that long when Angie cast another lightning spell to attack the boss, however, it was ineffective like the previous one. The enormous thunderbolt of the little mage could not pierce through some kind of a barrier to do the damage like Nuchjaree did at all!

“You’re just gonna waste your time, Angie!” Wisana shouted the reminder, while he was running and dodging the attack on the wall. “The magic won’t work on it if you don’t attack the right spot!”

“The right spot, where?”

The little girl who was sitting on Leonard’s shoulders repeated with a curious face.

“No time to explain. Just try not to get hit, kid!”
