Chapter 180: The First Assemble Part II

Chapter 180: The First Assemble Part II

“NCP can be scared, too, sir!”

Hearing that, Wisana scratched his cheek, feeling amused by these people so much. ...But if there were someone that did not feel anything, that would be Angie. Even though she could not move any faster because she was sitting on Leonard’s shoulders, she still seemed like she was having fun seeing the people that were older than her fearing ridiculous things like this.

Wisana thought, caught eyes with Maysa, and then shook his head wearily.

“Shin’s going to be pissed off for sure. These people are slower than snails.” The girl sighed.

“What should we do, then?”

The troublemaker sighed out of patheticness. But after continuing to walk only a few steps, a brilliant idea just popped up in his mind. He curled up a smirk, as his amber eyes glanced back at his friend right away.

“Wisana?”

Maysa raised her eyebrows when she saw her friend making a tricky face somehow.

But Wisana did not hesitate. He pointed at the back of Tunwa’s group instantly.

"Holy! What’s that thing behind you?! Why is it headless? What the hell is that?!!”

KYAAA!!!

Wisana’s words made the scared party scream out resoundingly as they started running off separately like a beehive after getting poked. So, Maysa glanced up at this sassy man judgingly, and Wisana only grinned widely in response, acting annoyingly clueless.

And the scared party had now run past, being ahead of the two instead, leaving Maysa to let out a long sigh, before shaking her head out of amusement.

“I should have done that sooner,” he said, smilingly.

“You’re unbelievable, always prank people with dump tricks. It’s not nice to make fun of others’ fears, you know?”

Hearing that, Wisana started laughing.

“Then why are you smiling if you really don’t like that?”

“Who said I didn’t like it?” she said, starting to laugh loudly. “I just wanted to say that don’t you dare use my fear to prank me like this, or you’re dead.”

The taller one slipped out another laugh before they both started following their friends who were still screaming through the mansion.

“But how come we haven’t seen any monsters here, May? Is this really a dungeon?”

Wisana asked, looking around the place.

He had been wondering why since he stepped foot in here, he did not see any monsters at all. There were only this creepy atmosphere, the freezing weather, and the musty smell of an old house.

“It’s normal. The monsters here are the spirit type, that’s why they don’t come out during the daytime.”

“Oh, I see...” Wisana nodded in understanding. “But my master told me that the mansion of Ouroboros’s gate opens until seven in the afternoon, after sunset, doesn’t it? And then the gate will lock down, no getting in and getting out.”

“Uh-huh, ...yeah, something like that.”

Maysa replied, brushing it aside. After that, she continued reading through her information screen, opening another one to calculate what they needed in this fight.

But this fact that he had just realized made him giggle in his throat, making Maysa take her eyes off the screen to glance at this guy again.

“What are you laughing about?”

“I just thought that it would be funny if those guys were trapped in here. There’s no way out, and many scary spirit monsters will come out at night.”

Hearing that, Maysa raised her eyebrows, while she was imagining what it would be like if that happened, too. Then she joined in the laughter.

“They’d probably climb out of the windows.”

“Hahaha, ...that would be tough for Tunwa then, since he’s scared of heights, too. So, he would be crying, pissing himself here until the next morning surely.”

Maysa laughed at his words, too. That guy feared both height and ghosts, so perfect as a man. Why would most men be scared of these kinds of things anyway though?

“You two, hurry up. The others have run to the boss’s room now.”

A moment later, Shin walked back, shouting to rush them with an emotionless expression.

And that made Wisana turn to smile at May, before shrugging unbothered to each other and started running to the other young man.

“Coming.”

----------------

After they got to the deepest floor of the basement, the first thing they saw was a huge door with a picture of a massive snake circling back to eat its own tail. ...Shin did not hesitate to place a hand on that door before pushing it slightly and the door which was more than ten meters tall, opened easily.

Many of the party members gasped, making a sound like, ‘Woah’ out at the same time. There were only Wisana and Maysa who did not care much about the door and started walking confidently in, without waiting for any invitation at all.

“Wait, Na. Walking in randomly like that, you might run into Ouroboros!”

Nuchjaree warned, but the young man who did not have any fears in his brain turned to her and gave her an amused smile.

“No, I might not.” He spoke. “...Ouro ...er ...boros is the boss that we have to summon out before we can fight it. Therefore, there’s no one in this mansion right now. So, stop being scared.”

He said, then glanced at Maysa as if he was asking her if what he just said was correct or not.

“Oh, ...is that so?” Nuchjaree asked stutteringly.

“If we have to summon it out, it means that we need to complete some quests, right? ...Bruh, I can’t stand walking around this creepy mansion anymore.”

That was Tunwa who cried out like he did not want himself to experience terror anymore. ...Because getting tricked by his best friend once was almost enough to ruin his urogenital system control!

“No, we don’t. Let’s get inside, I’ll handle the summoning.”

Shin spoke up with a voice that sounded like he was so close to losing it. Then he walked ahead without saying anything more, making Wisana and Maysa turn to shrug at their friends, implying that they could not help with that either.

And in the first second they stepped their feet into the room, the torches there lit up by themselves. ...The cold was spreading all over the place. Even though there was no wind down here, the temperature alone was already enough to make many of them get goosebumps easily.

The room was huge and round, it looked like the Colosseum of ancient Rome. Just a glimpse, everyone gasped, especially Wisana who was looking around the place to consider and estimate the size of the area thoughtfully

“If there’s this much space, I don’t have to worry about the area to evade.”

He said, then looked down at Maysa.

“Yeah, I’m worried more about the size of Ouroboros.” She sighed. “...Estimating from my eyes, I think the height and the width of the room are about 300 meters and as large as a football field, too. ...And I think it’s built to support that size of Ouroboros for sure.”

Maysa said with a considering face before she started walking to explore the dome, leaving Wisana to let out a long sigh. Then he turned to Shin.

“You know how to summon it, right?” He asked.

“Yeah.” The owner of those amethyst-purple eyes nodded. “I need to find a slot to put in the summoning item in this room. So, I think you guys should get ready now.”

Finish speaking, Shin looked around before getting off to explore, too.

A moment later, Maysa was back with a serious face and her information window that was always ready beside her.

“How was it?” Wisana asked.

“I tried using an item to detect monsters’ signals, but I didn’t find anything around here. ...I think it gets even stranger this way.”

“Why is that?”
