Chapter 140: Urgent Party Part V

Chapter 140: Urgent Party Part V

“Is anything wrong, Vincent?”

“N... no. I was just regretting about the EXP that I’ve farmed a bit. I have no idea it’ll be taken away this many.”

“Regretting?” Shindanai raised his eyebrows. “You don’t have to. Because the higher level this item is, it means the stronger you are as well. Your level is just some kind of pointless number, actually. The levels of these items are the ones that matter, the numbers that make you better than anyone else.” He finished speaking, before holding up the Four Seasons rings, another set of legendary items to confirm to Wisana.

“Is it true?” Wisana repeated.

“Yes. Why do you think the GMs destroyed these item’s formulas if it’s not because they’re too overpowering that makes the server unbalanced.”

“T... that makes sense.” He agreed as he caressed the items on his wrist cherishingly, feeling pathetic for himself that he had got the brilliant items with him, but had no idea how to use them.

This is like a monkey got a tank.

“Anyway, do you know how to use this item, Shin? To be honest, I don’t understand how it works at all.”

Shindanai was stunned by the question, doubting the man’s words in his head. If the other one really did not know how to use the Element, then how come he had already unlocked two skills like this?

“What do you say?” The curious one repeated.

“Your Element is just similar to my Four Seasons.” He replied with a monotone voice. “They both are weapons in the form of accessories. And your item’s ability is turning the six elements into various kinds of weapons. But in the case of the Four Seasons, it can only turn the elements into Longinus spears.” Finishing the explanation, Shindanai clapped his hands together to transform the air into a long light green spear with a strap of red fabric tied around the tip of it.

It was the air element Longinus that had defeated the Chimera once.

“Wow, awesome. Its design’s a bit different from earlier. This one is beautiful though.” Wisana said excitedly, while he was looking at the spear in the other one’s hand. “That’s really cool, summoning a weapon from the air like that. It’s exactly like playing a magic trick.”

“It depends on the terms of using, too. It’s not like I can just summon it out.”

“The terms of using?” The teacher nodded in agreement.

“For example, the terms of using the air element Longinus are that my hands have to touch the air first, and then I have to give 300 magic points for one summoning.”

“Um, like how we normally use skills. And how long’s it going to last?”

“Until it gets broken, or its master makes it disappear.”

“So cool.” Wisana smiled delightedly. He was excited like a kid, making the one who acted more mature sneakily let out a sigh. When he looked at the taller girl, he saw her looking back at him smilingly. And that made him make a tired face even more.

That girl probably was expecting him to instruct her brother as well, so she purposely left the distance between them like this.

So, they’re making use of my labor just like that, huh, these siblings. They’re so smooth, especially this guy.

“Then my Element is just like your item.”

“Something like that, except the terms of using for each one might not be the same. Also, your item hasn’t been unlocked on every skill. So..."

“Let me try it out!”

He did not finish the sentence when the overexcited one cut him off by holding the hand that had the Element on up to the sky instantly. The act made the in-need teacher frown out of displeasure that this guy was rushing to try the item out without letting him finish his lecture.

“No, listen to me first. I haven’t told you how to use it, yet. Then how would you summon the weapon out....” His words died out because the man in front of him had summoned a six-pointed star magic trap in the form of a blazing flame already.

Moreover, Wisana’s face did not look surprised at all. He was even muttering the spell fluently also. And a blink later, the flame had transformed into a long steel sword in his hand.

Shindanai gasped as he saw this.

“Here’s my sword. It’s completely different from yours. Mine looks like a low-level weapon though.” He said smilingly, unlike the other man who was turning pale. “I really did summon it. I thought it would be more difficult to do so though.”

“Y... you... you really don’t know how to use it, do you?” the teacher asked stutteringly. Wisana raised his eyebrows confusedly.

“Why?”

“Well, you... watch out!” Not finishing his sentence, Shindanai yelled out loudly. Because right now, behind Wisana, there was an insect monster that looked like a huge mantis waiting to get him. All this time, it was probably in camouflage, and he did not realize it because he was distracted by this air-head man in front of him here.

But when he realized, it had already raised its sharp sickle-like claw up, aiming to cut the prey to death in one hit!

“Damn, it’s too late!”

And that was when Wisana felt the sharp pain in his brain again!

All senses in his body had awoken instantly. The sword in his hand was held up, at the same time as the huge Hunt Sector lashed its sickle-shaped arm at him.

CLANG!!

Wisana’s blade was swung to defend against the monster’s attack just in time, without him even looking back at it. In the blink of an eye, the nimble figure started moving agilely. He bent away a little to push the insect’s claw off, before rushing in to stab through the monster’s chest fast and violently.

Even the observer from outside the fight like Shindanai could not catch up with his movement.

GEEZE!!

96,782!

The Hunt Sector was screeching disconsolately. Wisana hurriedly stepped back away from the monster before his smooth face curled up a grin.

“Ignite the explosion.”

BOOM!!!

89,350!

An extreme explosion’s impact tore the body of the mantis monster into pieces. The saffron light behind the tall figure of the man illuminated the area. The incident made the violet eyes of the observer widen with surprise. Until now, Wisana was standing still. His calmness made Shindanai narrow his eyes as he was considering the other man again in his mind.

Was this guy really level 40?

With those decisive movements, the fast reflexes, and the accuracy of attack, whether this guy was aware of these or not, the combination of the techniques hit right in the monster’s weak spot perfectly. That was why he could cause such serious damage.

Also, this guy knew how to use the special ability of the weapon, which was the explosion as well.

“Are you alright, Na? Did you get hurt?” A shout from Waree brought the boy’s consciousness back to them. Wisana was still not moving like he was having a serious thought about something. He just glanced at his sister from the corner of his eyes, so Shindanai had to wave at her, implying that the man was okay instead.

“Vincent, how did you do that? Your movements weren’t like a new player at all. Are you hiding something from me?”

“That’s...” Wisana started, making the other one pause.

“Huh?”

“Great!” He said, smiling from ear to ear. “Did you see that? Just one hit and that monster’s HP was down by almost a hundred thousand. And this sword can blast itself up, too. So slick.”

“One hit?”

“This sword is brilliant. Even a noob like me can use it so easily like this.” The man did not seem like he was listening at all. The owner of the golden-colored eyes was skipping his feet toward him, patting his shoulder pow, pow, with the most delightful face.

The overjoyed reaction got Shindanai speechless. This guy did not know about the monster’s weakness... and yet, he still attacked it so accurately like he had planned it all from the beginning.

Was that a fluke? No, it could not be it!

“I started heating up now. Let’s go. I want to try using the Element more.”

“...W ...wait.” That was all Shindanai could say because Wisana started walking away, not wanting to continue talking any further. Shin’s large hand was hanging there, where he had reached out, while he was trying to process everything dumbfoundedly.

Who exactly was Vincent? Did he do all that out of his instinct? That would be completely crazy.

Even though the tall man was still curious about many things, he could just stand and watch Wisana walking toward Waree who was smiling cheerfully like she did not know about the things that just happened.

“Na, try not to cause Shin trouble, okay?” She told him with a sweet voice.

“Yeah, I know that.” Her brother said with a smile, before he turned, coming back to drag Shindanai whose face looked very messy to follow him.

After the boys walked past her, the sweet face that used to have a cheerful smile turned to look tense right away. Waree’s eyebrows frowned together tightly, as well as her lips that were pressed into a thin line.

“Waree, did you see that Wisana did that? The movements like that, does it mean that he has...” Angela asked monotonously.

“Yeah, I did. Now it can be confirmed that Na really has it with him. And it started leaking out of him uncontrollably now, Angie.”
