Chapter 124 - 7 Stars Sword Part II

Chapter 124 - 7 Stars Sword Part II

“Can you check my potions? How many do I have left now?”

“Please wait. ...Your potions balance is the following, 35 bottles of black potion, 20 blue potions, 3 white potions, and 1 Magtiria potion.” After listening to the report, he placed a large hand on his lips as he was considering. The golden-brown eyes were looking at the bottles filled with various colored liquids in front of him, and suddenly feeling dizzy.

How many more types of potions they were going to invent before they could be satisfied? Were they planning to make every color on the color wheel, or what?

“Jinnie, recommend me, with my level and my coins balance right now, what are the potions I should buy?” Wisana was at his wit’s end, asking his AI.

His personal AI got quiet for a moment like she was surprised a little. But the voice that replied to him sounded even more enthusiastic.

“Are you sure you want me to recommend the potions for you? I’m afraid that there might be a mistake later because I am just a system anyway.”

“It’ll be fine. It’s better to have you choose them for me than I do it myself. If I just randomly pick one, I think... anyway, I trust you!”

“Understood.” Jinnie tried to keep her voice normal. But the listener like him could find out anyway that his personal helper sounded very glad about his words just now.

Finally, Wisana bought five kinds of potions, including, frozen curse dispel potion, Regenery potion, warming potion, spiral potion, and fire blast potion. Which all had a vivid color. He was not sure if he could bring himself to actually drink them.

Speaking of vivid colors, these potions reminded him of the ‘Monster Candy’ from his childhood, the candy they said was made of fabric dyes. ...Yup, they were exactly alike, damn it!

After he got one thing from his shopping list, the man walked to a clothes store to look for a coat like Waree told him to. The stall on the sidewalk that he stopped by had many types and styles of coats in different fabrics.

After he was looking around the store for a while, the man started to have the same dizzy feeling. So, Wisana just grabbed the cheapest piece from the rack and purchased it right away. Then he walked out of there happily, without noticing a strange look on him from the owner of the store at all.

The tall man was strolling around the market, hoping to find some item that he liked. Because he had finished shopping for the party already. And now this was the time to shop for himself. He stopped by other stores with more clothes, stores that sold weapons, and some of them had shoes, too, reminding him of his Windy line, the sneakers with long jump skill. He already gave them to Maysa. Because the magic warrior class already had some speed movement skills, so he did not need their skills anymore.

After walking for a while, the man let out a sigh.

“The items in the game are so many. It’ll take a long while before a new player like me could recognize them all.” Wisana said wearily.

Even though he had enough money and was now in a place that had many items for sale, he still had no idea which one he should buy anyway. And if he just randomly bought them, he was afraid that they would turn out to be actual junk for his sister to scold him about wasting coins on them later.

“Jinnie, how many coins do I have left?” He asked his personal system again.

“Currently. Your balance is 68,320 coins in total.”

“That’s all?” He frowned out of boredom. “I’ve spent a lot of money since I became the oldest one in the party. Especially that little brat, what an extravagant spender!”

After finishing complaining, the man turned and started walking to the same spot to meet up with the girls. When he was about to get out of the market area, suddenly there was a hand pulling on his arm, making him jump.

“Young man, you’re walking around bare-handed like this, you don’t have any weapon, yet, right? Are you interested in checking out my goods?” When Wisana turned around, he saw a tall man with a light-yellow headband. His dark dreadful face had scars everywhere, as well as his hands were covered with bandages like a person who was seriously injured.

“Uh... if my guess is not wrong, this is the direct sale, right? The deep voice replied, making the other stunned for a moment.

“No, no, it’s not. Well... I just saw you not carrying any weapon, so I just want to offer a cheap one to you.” Hearing that made him raise his eyebrows even higher.

“Never mind, brother. I’m really not interested in buying a new weapon right now.” He said, before he turned, wanting to walk away from this pester. Well, this game was so weird. There was a direct selling system, too!

“Hold on, brother. If you walk away now, you’re going to regret it later.” The stubborn merchant followed and grabbed his arm again, making Wisana sigh wearily.

“What are you going to sell, brother?” His smooth face that was turning to the man had a hint of pathetic.

This selling method reminded him of those sticker sellers under the overpasses so much. The type that stuffed their goods in people’s hands and said, ‘20 Baht’, kind of type!

“This one, brother, it’s an A rank weapon, you know. The seven stars sword.”

“Seven stars sword?” He repeated with a raised voice as he looked at the weapon in the merchant’s hand. In the merchant’s hand, there were big twin swords in a pair of neat leather sheaths with moderate-length straps to hang them from the shoulders. And another 5 knives were placed orderly in a stack.

He let out a sigh after he saw all of them.

“There’re 7 swords here, and which one’s supposed to be your 7 stars sword?” The question brought a big smile out of the merchant.

“All of them are the 7 stars sword, brother. It’s called 7 stars, that’s why it has 7 pieces, 7 designs.”

“Come on, if there are 7 of them, then I can’t afford to buy them for sure. Goodbye.” Wisana cut him off quickly, before he turned away, getting ready to run. But the fast-handed merchant grabbed his neck, and yanked him back very harshly this time, almost making him fall.

“Don’t be so hurried, brother. I’ll sell them to you at a very cheap price. Don’t cut me off too fast.”

“If they’re cheap, but suck, I won’t take them, either, brother.” He rejected as he shook the other one’s hand off him to cut off the annoyance.

“They don’t suck. They’re so good. Each one of them has different abilities. For example, this big one, you see?” He finished, before drawing the biggest one out of the sheath to show Wisana.

At the first second that the shiny blade touched the air, the heat from the steel blew out against his face and he needed to take a few steps backward.

“It’s hot!”

“This one is called the fire blade. Its heat can cut through everything, even the skin of a dragon that is known as the strongest monster in the world.”

“It can do that?”

He exclaimed out of surprise. His big round eyes were staring at the red-hot weapon in front of him with a spark. It was interesting. Maybe if he applied it with his element merging skills, it could give a good result.

“How about the other ones?” His tone started to sound more pleasant, making the scar-faced merchant smile widely instantly.

“They have other abilities, for example, the other big one. It’s the ice blade. Its thinness and lightness make it easy to use. It’s also so sharp that it can pierce right through the dragon’s skin to the bones.”

“Dragon again.” Wisana nagged plainly, contrasting with the look in his eyes that were staring at the weapons interestedly. The thin blade steel was white like snow. He could also feel the cold that was spreading from the blade, too.

Ice and fire, huh? Interesting.

“What about the other 5 pieces, brother. Those don’t seem like swords, though. They’re more like knives.”
