Chapter 110: Instinct Awakening Part III
Chapter 110: Instinct Awakening Part III
“It’s about that woman.”
“What’s about her?” Nero tilted his head curiously.
“She’s ruined my plans so many times. She looks laid-back like that, but she’s actually wise and an expert in many kinds of spells. Every monster I pulled to test Vincent’s skills were all handled by her magic before Vincent could even perform his real abilities.”
“So, she’s more like a support player, isn’t she?” Nero smiled amusedly. “But when she needs to confront the enemy, she can be irritatingly savage, too. Also, that ultimate skill was extremely strong, even though she didn’t go all out yet.”
“Maybe, the real damage of the skill is more than that, because right now, she doesn’t have any weapon or any good equipment on her at all.” Allen analyzed her performance, eyes narrowed as he was considering. Then, he let out a long sigh.
“Anyway,” he said, sounding more relaxed. “I’ve got to admit that she’s very skillful. But it’s such a shame that she’s so careless like this. And that’s why she’s going to make a mistake eventually.” He finished before the sharp face twitched up a cold smile.
“Does she really think that my Lycan is that weak to be killed with just four hundred thousand damage?”
----------------
“(Sigh,) that was really close.” Wisana got up and stretched after he got dispelled from the paralyzed debuff. Then he turned to look at Waree who was healing Angela.
“You have various kinds of strange magic, Nam. The reflect, the trap, and those light blades.” The last name was followed by a gulp because he was reminded of the carnage scene from earlier.
“That was not all, really,” Waree said smilingly. “I still got more different types of magic; you’ll see after we play with each other longer. Until then, I hope that we’d ‘participate’ more in a fight, not just run off to fight ‘solo’ just to ‘almost get killed’ like this.”
“Uh... sorry,” Wisana said witheringly. Waree was smiling softly, but he knew by how she stressed the significant words that she was implying, if next time he was impulsively going solo like this again, he would possibly end up like this king of Lycan!
When Waree drew away from Angela, the golden light in her hand started to die out, and the little girl suddenly got up.
“It’s okay now, Angie. You can move normally, right?”
“Yeah, I can.”
“Good.” The woman smiled in acknowledgment, handing out her hand to pull her friend up from the ground with her.
“You two, don’t forget to drink some energy potion.” She said while she was walking to Wisana. “Oh, and Na, you should drink the Magtiria you just got as well.”
“Magtiria?” He repeated with a raised voice. “Oh, the one that dropped from those werewolves? Why would I need it? Didn’t you just solo kill this doggo already?”
“I did. But don’t you forget that the Safe Way is now gone.” Waree explained wearily. “Right now, we don’t know what else we’re going to run into. But one thing for sure is that the monsters around here have higher levels than you do. So, I think you should drink, just in case.”
“T... that’s right.” Wisana agreed stutteringly because he was amazed that his sister was so cautious in a way that he could never be. Waree might not be a strategic planner like Maysa, but she was an expert in this game who used experience and wisdom to make a decision. That was why she was one of the skillful players like this.
Well, coming to think of it, he had been playing with her for a while now, but he did not know about her character information at all. And now he started to be curious about it.
“Er... Nam.” He said, finally.
“Yeah?”
“Well, I don’t know what class you are playing, and what level you are... uh... well, is it too late to ask you if I can see your character information now?” Hearing the question, Waree could not help but let out a sigh.
She looked at her troublesome brother who was making an unusual withered face, before shaking her head. His bright eyes made her forget what she was going to lecture him about being too impulsive. She then realized that he was just a new player with high potential, so it was normal if he would be inexperienced sometimes.
Anyway, at least he just made a little progress by asking to learn her abilities stats. Because forming a party without knowing about the teammates first was a big weakness for team players.
“Sure.” Waree smiled amusedly, before handing her information window to him. Then she turned to pay attention to the body of the Lycan boss behind them without saying any more words.
Wisana looked at the screen right away, before he held up his hands to rub his eyes harshly.
Did he mistake what he was seeing? He thought he saw the number 145 on her character information window! He stopped rubbing and opened his eyes again, and then his knees got so weak that they almost collapsed on the ground.

The brother was looking back and forth between his sister’s back and her information window, getting dumbfounded.
Level 145!! My God, what kind of monster was this? She was almost as savage as Lord Inferno now. And she already got the third class. So, his sister was the type that hid her light under the bushel, like really deep in the bushel, wasn’t she?!
“That’s awesome. She’s really unmatchable for me.” Wisana scratched his head, while he was looking at the fragile back of her that somehow suddenly looked like the greatest in his opinion.
“You’re actually comparing yourself to her? Please, her level is a bit too high. If you want to compare yourself to someone, let’s start with an amoeba, bacteria, or those kinds of things.” It did not take long before a clear, annoying voice was caught by his ears, making the eyebrows of the one who was being lost in their thoughts twitch.
This evil child!!
“Yeah, sorry I’m such a noob!” He retorted sarcastically.
“Good that you already knew that.” Angela said, deadpan. “Personally, you’re not a noob, but you’re more like a crazy man. First, you’re crazily impulsive and like going into a fight without even checking the enemy’s abilities. Second, you’re crazily bossy. Always ordering people around, while you don’t even know what you should be doing either. Being overconfident will bring disaster upon you, just remember that.”
Listening to her saying this straight to his face, the crazy one had no idea how to respond. So, he just snorted at her.
He was wondering why... every time he talked to this girl. He would feel so irritated that he wanted to pinch her in the cheeks so much! Was she not the one who got taken down a while ago? Then why was she insulting him so fluently like this?!!
“Sure, sorry for being the crazy one, too!!” The other one did not reply this time. And Wisana who was now in a full sulky mode, turned his face away, his long legs started walking to leave this sassy-mouthed kid behind. But he had not gone far, before he stopped when he felt a tug on his shirt.
“What is it now, are you not done insulting me?”
“Well...”
“Well, what?”
“I just wanted to say... t... thank you.” The soft words made the older one raise his eyebrows, not believing his ears. To be honest, he was not sure if he understood what she just said correctly, but the shy manner of Angela right now was a real thing!
How could he not tease this kid?! Damn it!!
“What are you thanking me for?” Wisana probed when he got the chance.
“For... for coming and saving me. ...even though what you did was kind of too reckless, it was still the reason I survived anyway. So, ...thank you so much.” The stuttering words made the troublemaker smile widely. His pair of brown eyes looked at the tiny figure in front of him and he could not help but smile amusedly.
Well, so, sometimes she could say something nice, too. Even though she was a genius, she was still a kid anyway.
While the two friends of different ages were having fun bickering, Waree was busy searching for the items that should already be dropped from the Lycan boss. However, no matter how long and how hard she looked, she still could not find any of them. This caused her quite a lot of irritation, before she realized something.
The said casual atmosphere was gone, because of a shout from Waree.
“Na, Angie! Be careful, it’s not dead, yet!!!”
