Chapter 109: Instinct Awakening Part II
Chapter 109: Instinct Awakening Part II
“Ouch! M... my back.” The overconfident one was now whining in a nonhuman noise when he got covered in the dirt on the ground that was cracked from the impact of his body crashing into it.
And that was the second time he got attacked by a monster in the game.
The first time was when the green boss mushroom attacked him because he accidentally kicked it and did not know how the game worked yet. But this time was completely different. At the start, Wisana was quite confident that his speed would help him avoid all enemies’ attacks, but that was not the case with the attacks from this king of Lycan. Because no matter how fast he was, it was still difficult for him to deal with its scary predator’s instinct. This werewolf monster knew how to adapt its attacks to Wisana’s moves so well that it did not feel like something controlled by a computer code now!
“Master, currently, your HP is lower than 10%. I suggest you drink some HP potion as fast as possible.” The warning came, getting his eyebrows frowned together tightly.

Exactly! He was so focused on wrestling with this crazy dog that he forgot that his level was a lot lower than its level. Also, his health points were getting down to zero, too!
“What’s this? I can’t move.” Wisana yelled. “...Don’t tell me this is the paralyzed debuff!”
He opened his mouth to scream after he had come to the realization. And when he looked up and saw the enemy in the sky rushing down to throw a fist at him, he could only be speechless and gulp down!
“I’m totally dead. There’s no way I’ll make it out alive this time.” Wisana whined, sounding wither without knowing that while he was fighting the werewolf boss, the other girl did not just stand and watch them. But she just took almost a minute to cast three verses of spell successfully!
At the second of life and death, the slender figure sprinted to be beside the man. Her lips were muttering something rapidly before she held up her hand above her head.
“Nam?” Wisana raised his eyebrows as he was looking at his sister who had just come out of the blue. It looked like he was so into the fighting that he had forgotten that there were still Waree and Angela here, too.
“It’s not nice forgetting about me like that. But don’t worry. I would never let you die.”
“Huh?”
“Reflect Shield.” After her words, green light barriers were appearing from every direction, before they gathered in a circle, shielding above their heads.
BOOM!!
7,890!
The damage number popped up with a loud crashing sound when the king of Lycan smashed on the magic wall exceedingly! The massive figure that was more than two meters tall just bounced off with full strength, without making any scratch on the siblings at all.
“Awesome!” The troublemaker’s eyes widened after he witnessed the ability of this slim girl.
GROOOWL!!!
The werewolf boss growled out with anger. Its mouth full of sharp fangs was sneering widely with rage before it changed the target to the newcomer instead. The huge monster launched itself at Waree at a frightening speed instantly.
“Nam, run now. If you die, then we all will definitely be doomed, too.”
“Don’t worry about me.” Her voice that replied to him was smooth to his ears. “I really like the type that hurls at me like this.”
Her words made the brother make a concerned face. The more he looked at the dog rushing in to charge her, the more his worry surged unstoppably. Eventually, the man could only look back and forth between his sister and the monster like that. And even though she was under heavy pressure, her gentle face still appeared with a soft, beautiful smile. Her green eyes were closing slowly. Her hand was held out in front of her, and her fingers made a clear loud snap sound.
“Magic Trap Six-pointed Star.” After the spell, the ground beneath the king of Lycan’s feet started to glow with a bright light. The massive figure paused out of instinct right away. Then the werewolf growled out loudly. It was about to jump away from the magic circle. And that got a giggle out from the slender girl who was watching from afar.
“It’s already too late, puppy.” she said smilingly. “There’s no time to escape now.”
GROOOWL!!!
The scream came with several dazzling poles of light that suddenly appeared before launching up from the circle to hold the greasy body of the monster tightly. While some ancient-looking characters were appearing on the ground inside the magic circle, overlapping with each other until they became a six-pointed star.
“I’ve never thought that I had to use a high-level spell for a monster like this, you know.” Her clear voice said delightfully. Waree walked up to the king of Lycan that was struggling to get away from the confinement, with a knowing grin.
“There’s no use keeping wriggling. Even a dragon that is bigger than you, I can still handle it.” she said with a giggle. “Actually, it was never my intention to hunt you. But you just kept asking for it, so I had to respond to you with something, right?”
The delightful face when she was speaking these words somehow made Wisana gulp down difficultly. Well, the amount of savage aura she was radiating was not quite small. Holy lord, who would have thought that a pretty, fragile-looking girl like his sister could be this frightening when she got serious?!
The sweet face curled up an icy cold smile, while she was placing her hand on the monster softly. The pair of green eyes were staring at it steadily, her lips continuously muttering another spell.
“400 spirits of the light please answer my prayer. May you all be under my command. Turn yourself into a blade, putting my enemy to the death.” After she finished, there were balls of white light like transparent souls appearing everywhere around her. The light balls started circling the king of Lycan for a moment before they turned into blades that pointed at the target in unison.
“Don’t say that you...”
Wisana drawled, and his voice died out mid-sentence, while Angela was giving a slight, satisfied smile.
“I haven’t seen Waree’s ultimate skill for a while.” She said. “The skill that is in the top ten list of the most damaging magic skills of the game.”
“Blade of Light!!” After her command, every blade was flying right to the confined monster rapidly and violently. The tip of the steel cut through the thick blue fur, making the red blood gush out of the wounds insanely.
“Goodbye for good, puppy.”
450,871!!!
The damage number popped up, getting the talkative one muted for a full five seconds with shock. Right now, the toughest werewolf monster was in a condition that did not look any different from a cactus!
Waree curled a proud smile at the victory she just earned. Her gorgeous face turned to look at Wisana while the massive monster fell and lay still on the ground.
“All’s done, brother.” she said, smiling brightly like a little angel as usual. However, strangely, this time it gave him goosebumps.
“Y... yeah.” His voice sounded totally dry because his mind started to have this one fear which was of his sister, who was normally smiling all the time. Who would have thought that she could be this scary when she got serious?
It would be best not to make her mad, so he could still live his safe life!

“HAHAHA,” a loud laugh came from another corner of the overgrown forest. The owner of the laugh sounded satisfied about the event of the battle down there quite a lot. That was why his body was shaking from laughing like this. Unlike the other one next to him, he was quiet, but his expression was obviously looking fully displeased.
“That was too quick, Allen. Your Lycan’s got killed.” Nero said. He could not stop laughing while patting on his friend’s shoulder.
“So annoying.” Allen snorted in reply, sounding frustrated.
“Aw, I was joking. Don’t get annoyed by me now.”
“I’m not talking about you, Nero.” The man drawled. The red eyes that were watching Waree casting a debuff dispel for her party had a hint of irritation in them. “It’s about that woman.”
