Chapter 105: Kravenza, The Demon Forest Part III
Chapter 105: Kravenza, The Demon Forest Part III
“Hey, didn’t you say that you were going to buy some supplies? Why are you shopping at a clothes shop?” The deep voice asked monotonously, but that made the one who was having fun shopping stop instantly. Her fair cheeks were getting slightly red.
“Well...” She stuttered. “Right now, I don’t have any good equipment to wear. So, I think that I should buy some.”
“Is that so? Not really because these clothes are pretty?” The older one forestalled knowingly when he saw that the clothes in that shop were more stylish than functional. So, the younger one paused with blushing cheeks, while the shop owner was laughing, too.
“Since you asked, Na, well...”
She started, as she was opening the palm of her hand to Wisana shyly, making the man burst into a laugh.
“How much do you want?”
“Sixty thousand.” The sweet voice said stutteringly, making Wisana laugh even harder at that courteous manner. It seemed that she was embarrassed that she had to ask for her brother’s money to shop for some pretty, nonsense items.
Luckily, he just got the money when he commissioned Manoch to sell those earth gemstones from the class quest for hundreds of thousands of coins. Wisana transferred the shopping money to his sister before he turned away like he was going in a separate way.
“Contact me later when you finish. I’ll go buy some support items at another shop.”
“Okay.” Wisana nodded as an affirmation. But he had not gone far before his shirt got tugged a couple of times. He looked down to see the pain in his butt, Angela, looking up to catch his eye like she was trying to communicate something with him.
“What is it?” Angela did not answer. She just pointed at a scepter that was placed in another shop next to the clothes shop.
“And what’s about that scepter?”
“I want it.” That was the first time that this little demon talked to him properly without sarcasm. The older one raised an eyebrow, before narrowing his eyes at her with a smirk on his face.
“You want that scepter? Why would you want it? I saw that your spell did enough damage already.”
“It’s better than the current one.”
“How much is it?” Wisana probed, faking his voice to be cold, but his eyes expression was shaking like someone who was having fun. But the poor girl did not notice what he was up to, so she paused, before backing up a little bit.
“80k.”
“Oho, eighty thousand? You’re even asking for more than Nam did.” He faked raising his voice, while actually, he did not even care about the amount of the money.
“Can’t you just buy it for me?” she asked, deadpan.
“Yes, I can. But that’s a lot of money. It’ll feel weird to just give it to you for free, little one.”
“What do you want?” Angela asked angrily. Her cold face started to have a hint of suspicion.
“Oh, you’re such a genius. You so get me.”
“What do you want in return? Say it.” The small voice sounded annoyed, but it made Wisana grin so satisfied as if he was saying, ‘Got you!’.
“Now, it’s easy for us to discuss the deal.” He smiled broadly. “What I want in return is nothing much, really. I just want you to say, ‘Thank you, big brother, for buying it for me.’ and kiss me on the cheek. That’s all.”
The one who asked for a deal got speechless. Her ruby eyes widened in shock. Unlike the other one who just smiled, while he was trying to keep his joy to himself.
It’s time for my revenge, little brat!
“Why would I agree to do something like that?” Angela asked with an emotionless face.
“That’s a good question.” Wisana could not stop smiling. “The answer is I don’t know. But some dumb and poor people like me really like it when we get smooched on the cheek by a cute girl. There’s no other reason. Just a kiss trades with money. Done.” He said before he winked so purposely to get on her nerves. Angela pressed her lips together without changing her facial expression.
Giggle! A cute laugh came from Waree. Angela would not hesitate to turn back and goggle at her. Her friend just waved in an apology, even though she was having a hard time keeping a straight face right now.
“So, what’d you say, little one? Will you take the offer, or not? It’ll be fine with me too if you won’t. You just have to save your own money to buy it yourself, like most people do.”
“Why doesn’t Waree have to kiss you, too?” She talked back.
“Who said that? She does it all the time, every day and night. Right, Waree?” He raised an eyebrow to his sister, and Nam just nodded. She could not help but play along.
“If I do that, then you have to buy me the scepter, okay?” Her voice sounded a little softer like she really had no other choice. The scepter she wanted was a rare item that could not be found in normal markets. And Angela was like Waree who had to leave their stuff on the U.S. game server.
“I promise,” Wisana assured her with a firm voice. The little one closed her eyes like she needed some time to restrain her mind before the tiny figure moved closer to him. Her white hands were clenching on her skirt, looking extremely repressed. Even her emotionless face started to blush uncontrollably.
“T... t... thank you, big brother, for buying it for me.”
“You’re welcome. You can thank me with a kiss on my cheek here.” He said, then leaned one side of his cheek forward with the purpose of messing with her. Angela drew back. Her cheeks got red like they had never been before.
Why would she have to do something like this? Except for Waree, she had never been familiar with anyone else. And why was she going to kiss this annoying guy’s cheek?!
“Where’s my kiss, Angie?”
“I... I know that.” The kid snapped. She had never felt humiliated like this before. This pain in the neck, just wait, he was going to pay for this someday!
The tiny lips were getting closer to the man, before they stopped two millimeters away from his cheek, and stayed there until a second turned to ten seconds. Almost a minute later, they were still not moving in any closer, making someone lose his patience.
“Aw, you can’t even kiss my cheek, then I’ll do it myself!”
“KYA!” Not saying anything more, Wisana grabbed her and smooched her cheek instead. The one who just got taken advantage of screeched in a way that she had never done it before.
“W... w... what did you do?” Angela almost forgot all the languages she knew. She ran away and hid behind Waree’s back.
“Well, I smooched your cheek.”
“A... and who allowed you to?!”
“What? Didn’t I tell you that if you couldn’t kiss me, then I’d be allowed to kiss you right away, little one?”
“No, you didn’t! You’re tricky. Sick adult!” She was bawling out in a combo, almost sending Wisana rolling on the floor laughing.
“Na, don’t tease her like that. She’s shy.”
“Yeah, I can see that.” He agreed amusedly, while he opened up his information window. “Jinnie, transfer eighty thousand to this adorable little girl.”
“Copy that, master,” Jinnie assured.
DING!
It did not take long before a notification sounded from Angela’s information window. And when she opened it up, she saw that this guy had transferred eighty thousand coins to her ID, just like he promised.
“I already kept my promise, little one.”
“As you should. Actually, you should give me more than eighty thousand, after you had violated my consent like this.” She was still being frustrated and talked back with a deep red face. Her small voice started to sound cold when she could get herself together again.
“Aw, it’s not that serious.” The man smirked. “But your face when you’re mad is cute though. I want to know now how cute you would be if you smile.”
The words made her blush even more. She quickly turned her face away before snapping in a slightly higher tone.
“Just get lost, jerk!” Her angry act made the man laugh. He then turned to Waree.
“I’ll go buy my items, then. Just ask me, if you need more money, okay?”
“Okay.”
“And Angie, if you need more money, just come and let me smooch the other cheek of yours, okay? I’ll be happy to give you another hundred thousand, kid.”
“Jerk!”
After that word, Wisana just hastily fled from there at the speed of light, before the little mage could finish casting a lightning spell to strike him.

At another corner, deeper inside Kravenza. The routes in the forest were covered with thick layers of fog, making it hard to see. And it was also a sign that right now, the local boss, like the king of Lycan, had finally shown up for sure.
Besides leaves and grass, the ground of the tropical rainforest was also sparsely covered with unconscious players who were lying in their pools of blood, waiting for the game system to send them to respawn at the hospital.
“WARRRRRH!!” A scream was heard throughout the forest.
“RUN!”
“Wah! Why is this king of Lycan tougher than usual? It wasn’t this difficult yesterday, right?!” After their words, they both could finally make it out of the fog. The two men were covered in blood. Also, their weapons, including a spear and a sword, were all broken in half.
“The Safe Way is right there. Let’s go.” One of them yelled happily when he saw a small route that was illuminating so brightly not very far away from them.
WHOOP!!
However, they had not gone far from the spot when there was a huge body jumping down from the sky with a strong wind that stunned them with its impact.
The monster looked too much like a human. Its glowing black skin was covered with long fur, and its sharp claws were long.
GRRR! It let out a threatening growl in its throat with saliva dripping out of the wide mouth, making the two poor players look each other in the eyes. And then the same thought popped up in their minds at the same time, saying...
See you at the hospital!
ARRRRRRGH!!!
