Chapter 102: The 5th Member Part IV

“I transferred to the Thai server because I wanted to play with you, Nam, just like when we were in the U.S. it’s okay if he doesn’t accept me in his guild. You just quit his guild and form a new one with me. The problem’s solved.”

“Huh?!”

“Wait, hold on, little brat. Calm down.” After hearing her gabbling for a while, finally, the only man here spoke up. “I’m telling you this, Nam can’t leave the guild. She’s my sister and the guild’s deputy leader. It’ll be a problem if she’s removed from the guild now. Also, you just got here, you don’t have the right.”

“Of course, I do.” Angela talked back. “All players have equal rights in the game. You can’t violate Nam’s rights or force her to do as you please. Also, you’re just her stepbrother, not her biological one. Technically, you’re committing false imprisonment to her right now.”

“Imprisonment your hat! She joined my guild with full consent. You’re the one who is violating her rights by forcing her to do as you please and claim it as friendship here!”

The battle seemed to be prolonged when the enemies were moving to confront each other directly.

If their eyes could shoot laser beams, it would probably be epic like a scene from a sci-fi movie. But somehow, Waree did not find this funny at all. So, she got up, before walking in between them to block their sights on each other.

“That’s enough, both of you.” The sweet voice said wearily. She pulled Angela into a hug, eyes glancing at her brother with a bored expression.

“Na. You’re many years older than her. Don’t you think it’s kind of hilarious to pick a fight with a kid like this?”

“Hilarious? This one doesn’t count as a kid. She’s probably smarter than me, even!”

“She’s still a kid, anyway.” She said, then gazed at the one in front of her again, making him wither in just the blink of an eye. But with the ego that was up above his head, Wisana just let out a snort like he was done with this, before turning his face away.

Normally, he liked kids, but this one was the only exception. Because what kind of kid would be precocious and foul-mouthed like this?!

“And you, too, Angie.” After finishing scolding one, she then turned to another right away. “Don’t talk to Na like that. He might not be my biological brother, but I respect him like one. You already knew that, didn’t you?”

“But...” The emotionless face appeared a hint of gloom.

“And about the guild, I really can’t quit this one to join you. Because I’m the deputy. I have my responsibilities. I hope you’d understand.” Listening to this, Angela turned pale.

“I... it means that you’re not going to play with me anymore?” She asked before she started frowning, about to burst into tears. And that made the kindest one like Waree, hurriedly pulled her in close to soothe her down. The one who was watching just let out another snort.

This was obviously a drama scene! Little snake!

“It’s not like that, Angie.” Waree calmly explained, showing her skill in dealing with kids. “It’s just that I can’t leave the guild and play with you by ourselves. But you can join and play with us instead.”

“You mean...?” Angela started sobbing.

“Join our guild, please.”

“NOOO!!! I hate this man. I don’t want to be with this poor-skilled man.”

“Ugh...” The poor-skilled man flinched, glancing at the brat who was throwing a tantrum in Waree’s arms, and he could not help but dislike that. Then he opened his mouth, about to talk back, but he had to shut it up when a fierce look was sent right at him from his sister.

Yeah, sure, poor this, poor that. Wait until I get better than this, you little devil!

“Come on, don’t be stubborn, Angela, my good girl.” Waree smiled sweetly at her.

“But...”

“Stay with me. Please, I’m begging you.”

The silver-haired girl sniffed more a couple of times, before nodding helplessly. The small figure held onto Waree tightly who was letting out a sigh when she saw that the negotiation went well.

“So, she can join our guild, right, Na?”

“I have the choice to say no? I’m just a poor man, anyway.”

The deep voice said sulkily, making Waree’s temples feel tense somehow.

“Come on, Na. Don’t be so sulky.”

“Who? I’m not being sulky.” Wisana refused to admit it and just walked away like a sulky man. Waree made a tired face behind him, then got Angela off her for some space.

“Don’t forget to apologize to him later, okay?”

“Who do I have to apologize to? I didn’t do anything wrong.” The innocent reply made Waree let out another sigh.

“Come on, he’s my brother, anyway. Just say you’re sorry.”

“To a poor man like that?” The rude word coming from the young one was incredibly amusing to Waree somehow. So, she just turned away to hide her laughter, shaking her head before she replied.

“He’s not poor. You just met him in a condition that was... not good. He actually has a buddy. And if you got a chance to see them fighting together, you wouldn’t say such things.”

Angela became speechless. She looked at the man who looked ineffective, regardless of any angle she looked at him. Also, he was so sulky.

Wisana’s image was getting more and more negative in the little girl’s eyes instantly.

“Also, he’s a good person. So, it’d be good to make up with him sometimes. And, don’t call him poor. It’s not nice.” Seeing the other one nod in agreement so obediently, Waree put a hand on her head to softly rock it left to right with endearment.

“Hey, you two, let’s stop with the chitchat. We need to hurry up on our trip. Also, Nam, I have something to talk to you about. Let’s go!”

“Okay.” The deputy leader turned to grin at Angela, before pulling her up with her.

And Wisana who had yet dealt with his hot temper saw something to dump it on. Then he shouted to call his personal vehicle right away, angrily.

“Yellow! How long are you going to stand there? Hurry up and come here. We’re going to start moving now!”

SHRIKE!!

Gold screeched, while it was running to him, looking not quite pleased. The obvious evidence was how it scratched in the dirt like it was saying that ‘Yellow’ was not its name!

“What are you rambling about, Yellow? Don’t talk too much, or I’ll remove your feathers and grill you!” The threat made the bird wither down instantly because it could understand now that its new rider was being frustrated. So, the big bird just bent down for Wisana to climb and sit on its back willingly.

“Tch! So frustrating, any of you!”

“Well, looks like they just got a new member. This party is getting more interesting now.” The deep gentle voice that sounded annoying came from a branch of the highest tree, quite far away from the battle zone earlier. The voice owner was looking at the scene with calm, steady eyes. His blond hair was blowing slightly to the wind. As well as the other man beside him, his blood-colored eyes did not look away from Wisana for a moment now.

“Looks like you’re having fun, Allen. It’s quite a while that I didn’t see you take the enemy seriously like this.” Nero’s words got a burst of slight laughter out of him before Allen’s eyes turned to look at the other.

“Am I that obvious, Nero?”

“Of course. We’ve been friends for many years.”

“Right.” Allen laughed slightly and moved back to the same spot again. “What do you think about that Vincent?”

“He’s quite skilled,” Nero replied, while he was scratching his cheek. “But to be honest, he’s not that skilled for us to be worried about, anyway. Good thing that I haven’t yet reported the boss about him, or I’d probably get cursed for getting this nonsense on his brain.”

The man was rambling for so long that it made Allen slip out a chuckle. He put his hands together to make a finger gun, pointing in Wisana’s direction.

“I think so. Or maybe the monsters that we sent to test that guy’s skill weren’t that good.” Allen grinned widely. “But we almost saw him using the Signetic if the kid mage didn’t get in the fight.”

“You’re saying that if the kid didn’t come to save him, Vincent would have turned the situation around, and defeated your T-ranra?”

“Yeah, I believe so.” His voice was firm and steady, his hands moving along the target who was moving away.

“Don’t worry, Nero.”

“Yuh?”

“The next test I’ve prepared for him is the real one. Just you wait, Vincent. The disaster at Kravenza will be so much worse than this. Please make it more fun for me.”
